As soon as they met, Lu Xiaofeng asked Hong Fei to go with him to see someone, saying that this person could get her an audience with the Emperor.

Hongfei followed Lu Xiaofeng through a maze of twists and turns until they arrived at the entrance of a training ground. Lu Xiaofeng went up to the guard and asked him to announce to a man named Wei Ziyun that he had something to discuss with him.

The guard told Lu Xiaofeng to wait a moment and ran inside to announce his arrival. After a while, he came out and invited Lu Xiaofeng in. Lu Xiaofeng, accompanied by Hongfei, followed the guard to a room. The guard announced to the people inside, "Lord Wei, Lu Xiaofeng has arrived."

"Please let him in," the person inside replied.

Lu Xiaofeng led Hongfei into the house. Inside stood a middle-aged man, dressed in black brocade robes, exuding an imposing aura. He didn't seem to be a member of the martial arts world, but rather resembled a general.

The man greeted Lu Xiaofeng, saying, "Lu Xiaofeng, long time no see. Aren't you out investigating cases in the martial world? What brings you here?"

Lu Xiaofeng didn't stand on ceremony with the middle-aged man, "I need your help with something."

"Oh? What do you, Lu Xiaofeng, need my help with?" The middle-aged man was somewhat surprised to hear that Lu Xiaofeng was asking him for help.

The purpose of going to the capital to see the Emperor was to obtain his approval to establish a sect specifically for managing martial arts practitioners. When asked for further details, Hong Fei said that the specifics of establishing the sect needed to be discussed with the Emperor.
