After spending two days at Chunyang Palace, Hong Fei took her leave. Upon exiting Chunyang Palace, she found Chunyang disciples already busy at the teleportation point on Mount Hua. Hong Fei didn't linger; she greeted the disciples working there and then headed down the mountain.

At the foot of Mount Hua, Hong Fei had no idea where to go. The only people she knew in this world were Lu Xiaofeng and Hua Manlou. Since she couldn't contact Lu Xiaofeng for the time being, she would try to contact Hua Manlou instead.

Hongfei sent a message to Hua Manlou, asking what he was doing. After a while, Hua Manlou replied. It turned out he was in the world of Jianwang 3, playing a dungeon with friends from that world. Hearing that Hongfei didn't know where to go, he suggested she go to Wanmei Manor to find Lu Xiaofeng. He'd heard Lu Xiaofeng was currently with Ximen Chuixue. Hongfei thought it was a good suggestion; since she didn't know where to go anyway, she might as well go to Wanmei Manor.

Because she wasn't in a hurry, by the time Hongfei leisurely strolled to Wanmei Manor, the plum blossoms were long gone, and all she could see were plums on the trees.

When the steward of Wanmei Manor went out, he saw a little girl of about five or six years old, wearing a pink dress and carrying a pair of very ornate swords on her back. She was standing under their plum tree, looking up at the plums on the tree with her eyes fixed on them. If the plums hadn't been unripe, he thought the little girl would have already started picking them up.

The butler looked around and saw no other adults, only the little girl. He had no choice but to walk up to her and call out, "Little girl, little girl."

Hongfei was looking at the plums on the tree, wondering if they were edible and what they tasted like, when she heard someone call her. Turning around, she saw a middle-aged man. She didn't recognize him! She turned back to look at the plums on the tree.

The butler's lips twitched as he watched Hongfei's capricious behavior. So, I'm not as attractive as the plums on this tree, huh? The butler coughed lightly and called out again, "Little girl."

When Hongfei heard the man call her name again, she reluctantly turned her gaze from the plums to the middle-aged man. She looked at him with a puzzled expression, her eyes still involuntarily drifting back to the plums.

Seeing that the young girl had finally taken a liking to him, the butler quickly asked, "Young lady, who are you? What brings you here?"

Hearing the butler's question, Hongfei suddenly snapped out of her reverie. Oh right, she was looking for someone; how could she have forgotten all about it while looking at the plums? Hongfei had actually noticed that since her body shrunk, she sometimes couldn't help but be willful, and sometimes her attention would be drawn to fun and delicious things, causing her to forget what she needed to do. Like now, seeing the plums on that tree, even though they weren't edible yet, she was so captivated that she couldn't move and forgot about her business.

Hong Fei clasped her hands in a fist and bowed to the steward, saying, "Greetings. My name is Hong Fei, and I'm here to see Lu Xiaofeng. Is he still here?"

When the steward heard that Hongfei had come to see Lu Xiaofeng, he invited her into the manor, led her to a small living room, and had servants bring some pastries and tea. He then excused himself to go find the manor lord.

Hongfei was quietly eating pastries and drinking tea in the small living room, waiting. A moment later, she heard footsteps approaching. Hongfei put down her pastries and tea, looked up at the door, and saw a handsome young man dressed in white standing there. He had a cold demeanor, almost devoid of human warmth, like a cold, icy sword.

As soon as Ximen Chuixue entered, he saw a little girl sitting obediently in a chair, watching him. Upon seeing him, she jumped down from the chair and stood on the ground. She carried two swords on her back, which she hadn't removed even while seated. The two swords had no sheaths; when the little girl jumped down, the blades grazed the chair without damaging it in the slightest. Ximen Chuixue was somewhat puzzled.

“You are Hong Fei,” Ximen Chuixue asked.

“Master Ximen knows me?” Hong Fei was surprised that Ximen Chuixue knew her.

"I've heard Lu Xiaofeng mention it," Ximen Chuixue said truthfully.

"I see." Hong Fei's doubts were cleared up, and she then asked Ximen Chuixue, "I came to find Lu Xiaofeng. Is he still here?"

Ximen Chuixue walked up and sat down, picked up the tea on the table and took a sip.

"Lu Xiaofeng left a few days ago."

"Oh, he's left!" Actually, Hong Fei was somewhat prepared, after all, Lu Xiaofeng wasn't one to stay in one place for long. It had taken Hong Fei several months to travel from Mount Hua to Wanmei Manor. It was quite normal that she couldn't find Lu Xiaofeng when she arrived.

Hong Fei picked up her teacup and took a sip. After all, it was her first time meeting Ximen Chuixue, and she didn't know what to say. Should she take her leave? Hong Fei sipped her tea, her gaze unconsciously falling on Ximen Chuixue.

"What else do you want?" Ximen Chuixue asked, his tone questioning.

Hongfei snapped out of her daze upon hearing Ximen Chuixue's voice, "Ah, no."

"Then why are you staring at me?"

Hongfei then realized that she had been staring at Ximen Chuixue while she was daydreaming. Embarrassed, she scratched her head, unsure of what to say, and simply started a conversation.

"Master Ximen, I've heard your swordsmanship is exceptionally skilled. Is that true?"

Ximen Chuixue ignored Hongfei's question. Hongfei had no choice but to find another topic to talk about.

"Master Ximen, I've heard that your swordsmanship is now the best in the world. Is there anyone whose swordsmanship is better than yours?"

Ximen Chuixue merely glanced at Hong Fei, still ignoring her question.

Seeing that Ximen Chuixue still ignored her question, Hongfei's competitive spirit was aroused. Hey! Still ignoring me.

"Master Ximen, would you like to witness the true meaning of the sword technique, which is free and unrestrained and can vanquish demons across the world?" Hong Fei offered Ximen Chuixue a tempting offer.

Ximen Chuixue fell for the trick as expected. "Where?"

"Huashan Chunyang Palace!" Hong Fei didn't keep him in suspense and told Ximen Chuixue directly. Anyway, Hong Fei only wanted to lure Ximen Chuixue there; whether he could stay or not was none of her business.

Hong Fei gave Ximen Chuixue the detailed address of Chunyang Palace, then bid him farewell. Ximen Chuixue was too cold; she couldn't stand it.

Ximen Chuixue didn't try to keep Hong Fei, since they weren't really close and only knew her by name. So Ximen Chuixue wouldn't care if Hong Fei left.

After leaving Wanmei Villa, Hongfei lingered for a while, reluctant to leave the plums. "Sigh, why can't I eat them yet?" she thought, turning back every few steps.

Hong Fei drove to the town closest to Wanmei Manor. She chose a restaurant and went inside. The waiter, seeing Hong Fei enter alone, looked behind her but didn't see anyone else. Noticing her wealthy attire, he bent down and asked in a low voice, "Young lady, are you alone?"

"I'm alone, find me a table by the window. Bring me two of your signature dishes." Hong Fei didn't care about the waiter's attitude and tossed two taels of silver to him. The waiter took the silver and quickly led Hong Fei to the kitchen to order the food after settling her in.
