"How rude..." Shuten-dōji's voice echoed all around, but neither Hakurin nor Edogawa Hiroyuki could pinpoint the source of the voice and thus determine Shuten-dōji's location.

"Did it become invisible?" Hiroyuki Edogawa asked疑惑地, "Or were its movements so fast that I couldn't see it?"

Bai Lin's expression was somewhat solemn. Some magic, different from elemental power, was faintly scattered throughout the underground cavern, forming a special domain effect. This reminded Bai Lin of Zhuo Bi's mirror space. The giant gourd spat out "saliva cannonballs" one after another, which Bai Lin completely ignored. The thing hit Bai Lin's water shield and bounced off like a rubber ball. But when it hit the building, it exploded like a grenade, not only generating a shock wave, but also producing a highly corrosive yellow-black substance that quickly blasted the roof of the building into a million holes. However, Bai Lin also noticed that the roof of the building was exceptionally sturdy; even a plastic bomb probably couldn't penetrate it.

He was no longer willing to be a weakling, an orphan living under someone else's roof, or an ordinary student at the world's smallest magic school... Instead of retreating, he advanced towards Shuten-dōji's figure, pointed his wand fiercely, and a disarming spell was released from his wand. Red magical energy shot into Shuten-dōji's body like a bolt of lightning.

"Where did this brat come from!" Shuten-dōji was completely unharmed. He grabbed the red gourd and unleashed a fierce flame similar to a dragon's breath technique at Edogawa Hiroyuki.

Hiroyuki Edogawa was utterly terrified. In that instant, too many thoughts raced through his mind. First, he cursed himself for being an idiot. His opponent was clearly not a wizard.
