Chapter 107 Poseidon's Great Rebellion (Part 1)

When Lucifer opened his eyes... he found that his power had increased.

His eyes were bloodshot, his obsidian-black hair was casually scattered, and the twelve wings behind him were even more refined.

While bronze tools still dominate in the Central Plains, iron tools and even steel have become widespread in this country. The architecture is also generally more magnificent, and it is dominated by red, yellow, and black colors. When Lucifer led his legions in search of scrolls in Middle-earth, he heard of Athenian scholars.

The temple keeper, who was guarding outside the magnificent temple, discovered Lucifer in the form of a mortal boy.

He immediately stopped Lucifer's advance, sternly rebuking him, "Where did you come from? Get out of here right now!"

Lucifer asked, "Where is this place? And who is inside?"

The temple keeper loudly proclaimed again, "This is the temple of the great sea god Poseidon..."

"Get out of here! Didn't your parents tell you this is forbidden territory?"

Lucifer replied calmly, "How dare you presume to call yourself a god?"

Immediately, the temple keeper died on the spot.

Lucifer stepped over the priest's corpse and entered the temple.

Inside the magnificent temple.

A faint sound echoed.

"Zeus is injured again... Last time I was worried it was a trick and didn't seize the opportunity... But this time, with Hera's help, we can't afford to lose this chance again..."

Lucifer witnessed a scene invisible to mortals, and he knew some of the names of the false Olympian gods...

Poseidon, the sea god; Athena; Hera, the queen of the gods...

But there was another person he did not know, a man who shone with light and carried a longbow and a harp.

There were exactly four people, and they seemed to be plotting something.

When Lucifer entered the temple.

The four gods also discovered Lucifer's whereabouts.

Immediately, the four gods' expressions changed...

Poseidon, the god of the sea, took the lead, wielding his golden trident. Blue ripples appeared on his hands, and instantly the weight of the entire ocean was applied to the trident. Then, the trident thrust towards Lucifer.

Athena's spear and Apollo's longbow were also pointed at Lucifer.

Poseidon, holding his trident, staggered back a few steps. Seeing this, he was both shocked and furious, and roared, "Were you sent by Zeus?"

Lucifer was pleased to hear people address him as a god, even though he knew it was presumptuous and disrespectful. When he heard Athena suggest joining forces to overthrow Zeus, he was tempted.

He had witnessed Zeus's divine power firsthand; it was incredibly formidable... Even that wretched raven was no match for Zeus, and even now, having risen to the ranks of high angels, he still had no confidence in facing Zeus alone...

If these false gods help him kill Zeus, and he then launches a sneak attack from behind to eliminate them, wouldn't he be the biggest winner?

After a moment's thought, Lucifer agreed, but said, "I am not a god... but only if it is to deal with Zeus."

"I'm willing to help..."

Hera, the queen of the gods, exploited the gods' discontent with Zeus and secretly rallied them to form a powerful, albeit scheming, rebellious alliance. Its main members included:

The rebellious gods then swarmed forward...

They easily defeated the fairies or lesser gods who guarded Zeus.

The indestructible diamond chains bound the god-king firmly to his throne.

When Zeus opened his eyes and awoke, the gods held their breath and watched intently at the figure amidst the thunder and fire.

And when they found Zeus sitting motionless on his throne.

They knew... they had won!

Upon seeing this, Poseidon raised his golden trident and excitedly declared, "Zeus has been defeated by the gods because of his tyrannical rule..."

"He deserves to be the new King of the Gods!"

Silence is the Olympus of today...

Poseidon, holding his trident, paused, then looked at the remaining twelve silent Olympian gods...

He glanced at Hera, the Queen of Gods, again. She remained silent.

Immediately, the gods began to make a fuss.

Ares, the god of war, stepped forward and said that he was the eldest son of Zeus and should rightfully be the king of the gods.

Apollo stepped forward to refute him, saying that he couldn't even defeat an evil god and had to expend his original power to recover, so he was not worthy of inheriting the throne of the gods.

Athena declared that she was supposed to be a boy according to prophecy, and that based on her abilities, she was the one everyone expected to be born!

A great commotion erupted within the Pantheon, with constant clamor and uproar.

And this time.

Zeus, who had been motionless until now, stirred, and he was bound.

He turned to the terrified attendant beside him and asked a cryptic question: "Is the banquet ready?"
