Hogwarts: The Witch Education Handbook

Chapter 36 Tonks' Letter

As soon as Sean returned to Hogwarts, he found an owl standing quietly on the windowsill of his office window, motionless as if it were asleep.

The owl has dark brown feathers with light-colored markings, its eyes are closed, and its chest is rising and falling gently.

The silence was broken when Sean gently closed the door, and the owl immediately woke up, its round yellow eyes quickly locking onto Sean.

Without any hesitation, it began to peck rapidly at the windowpane with its sharp beak, making a crisp sound, as if it were urgently knocking on the door.

Sean walked quickly to the window, gently pushed it open, and the owl immediately flew gracefully into the room. Its wings made almost no sound, and after circling elegantly in the air a few times, it slowly landed on Sean's shoulder.

The owl's feathers were soft and warm, and their gentle touch on Sean's cheek brought a strange sense of intimacy.

I think... I should buy an owl.

The owl that had always been with him disappeared during the years he wandered the world, and no one knew where it flew off to.

Thinking this, Sean reached out and gently touched the owl's slender leg, which held the letter. The owl seemed to understand his intention, obediently remaining still, allowing Sean to easily untie the letter.

The moment the letter was taken down, the owl let out a soft hoot, as if to announce that its mission was complete.

Sean opened the letter, and neat, beautiful handwriting came into view.

The letter came from his lovely junior, Tonks.

Dear Senior Phillips:

See the word as the face.

How have you been lately?

I have been recuperating at the Ministry of Magic for several days now. The injuries I sustained a while ago have been completely healed after careful rest. Senior, you don't need to worry about me anymore.

Today, since I have some free time and the sun is shining brightly, I decided to write a letter to my senior to talk about what's been happening lately.

Although this operation was unsuccessful, we learned a lot of lessons from it.

To allow us to better adjust our mindset and improve our abilities, the Ministry of Magic arranged a few months of rest for us.

However, doing nothing here every day is indeed very boring.

I often reminisce about my time at Hogwarts, where life, though busy, was full of challenges and fun.

I wonder how Hogwarts is doing now? Is it still a demanding place with heavy workloads, requiring people to work day and night? I long for the opportunity to visit my senior again to thank him for saving my life last time.

May this letter reach you where you are well and live a happy life.

Your junior

Nymphadora Tonks

As Sean read the letter, a warm feeling welled up inside him.

The letter paper carried a faint fragrance, as if one could still smell the fragrance left by the girl when she wrote the letter.

This is a typical British letter, with refined word choice and elegant sentence structure.

He couldn't help but picture the girl sitting by the window, sometimes frowning in thought, sometimes biting her pen, racking her brains to write this letter.

In summary, the entire letter conveyed only one message: she wanted to see him.

This seems to fit the girl's carefree, outspoken, and passionate personality.

Sean began to seriously consider the feasibility of this matter.

It seems... it's not entirely impossible.

Tonks' arrival is a significant help, both in advancing the main storyline and in preparing for his ultimate mission.

He needs an opportunity.

So Sean picked up the quill pen on the table and carefully wrote back to Tonks...

......

Time flies, seasons change, and another month has passed in the blink of an eye.

Time flew by and it was the day before Halloween.

This month, Sean's teaching plan proceeded as scheduled, and the atmosphere of playing Wizards Kill on campus became increasingly intense, with almost every young wizard changing the way they greeted each other.

Are you free?

"have."

"Want to play a tense and exciting game of Wizardry?"

"it is good."

It gradually evolved into a more concise dialogue.

"kill?"

"kill!"

During this month, the relationship between the three boys has become more complicated.

Just like in the original story, Hermione no longer pays attention to Harry and Ron. She lives a very routine life, going between the library, the classroom, and Sean's office. She is satisfied and fulfilled with this kind of life.

Harry and Ron, on the other hand, thought it was a good thing. Hermione was always self-important and liked to give orders, so keeping her busy would keep them from bothering them anymore. Therefore, they sincerely thanked Professor Sean for solving this problem for them.

A few mornings ago, owls flocked into the auditorium as usual.

A six-eared owl carrying a long, thin bundle landed in front of Harry.

That was Professor McGonagall's Nimbus 2000 flying broom, which she had privately provided to Harry.

This behavior of making mistakes without being punished, but instead being rewarded, further intensified the conflict between Hermione and Harry and Ron.

And so the conflict erupted during the spell class this afternoon.

"Alright, don't forget the subtle wrist movements we've been training!"

Professor Flitwick, as always, stood atop his mountain of books and pointedly reminded everyone, "One swing, one shake, one swing, that's the key."

"At the same time, accurate pronunciation of the spell is also crucial—remember the wizard Balfeo, who ended up having an unexpected encounter with a bison and lying embarrassingly on the floor just because he mispronounced an 'f' as an 's'?"

This technique is indeed quite challenging.

Harry and Seamus waved and shook the feather repeatedly, but the feather that should have been dancing remained lying quietly on the floor, unmoved.

Seamus was furious. He tapped his wand, and the feather burst into flames—Harry had to hastily extinguish the fire with his hat.

At another table not far away, Ron's attempt also seemed to have failed.

"Yugadimur Leviosa!" he shouted, his long arms swinging like windmills.

“You’re wrong,” Harry heard Hermione point out bluntly. “It should be Yuga-Dimlevi-O-Sa, with the ‘ga’ pronounced long and clear.”

"If you're so capable, then you try it!" Ron retorted irritably.

Hermione calmly rolled up her sleeves, gracefully waved her wand, and clearly uttered, "Yugardim Leviosa!"

Then, the feather rose lightly from the table and hovered gracefully about four feet above their heads.

"Wow, that's excellent!" Professor Flitwick clapped excitedly. "Class, look here! Miss Granger has finished successfully!"

As the class neared its end, Ron's spirits plummeted.

“No wonder everyone hates her,” Ron complained to Harry as they struggled through the bustling corridors. “Honestly, she’s a living nightmare.”

Suddenly, someone bumped into Harry and quickly walked past them.

That's Hermione.

Harry caught a glimpse of her face—to his surprise, her eyes were filled with tears.

"I think she might have heard you," Harry said softly.

"So what?" Ron replied, his tone still firm, but a hint of unease flashed in his eyes. "She should have noticed long ago that she doesn't have a single friend."
