The baby Li Jin's screams echoed through the cave, sharp and piercing, making Sophie and Xiao Mei's hearts clench. Following Li Jin's gaze, they saw a blurry black shadow slowly emerging from the depths of the cave, appearing particularly sinister and terrifying in the dim light.

"What is that?" Xiao Mei swallowed hard, gripped the dagger in her hand, and unconsciously moved closer to Sophie.

Before she could finish speaking, the giant spider pounced again, its sharp legs tearing at Sophie's arm, and blood gushed out instantly.
