Keyboard Warrior's Otherworldly Adventure

Sophie and Xiaomei exchanged bewildered glances, completely taken aback by this sudden turn of events. A green-skinned baby with pointed horns was calling Sophie's name and saying it was hungry? This was too bizarre!

"Li Jin... is that you?" Sophie asked tentatively. Although the baby seemed to have nothing to do with Li Jin, she had a vague feeling that the baby was Li Jin.

The baby blinked its big, watery eyes, seemingly understanding Sophie's words. Its little mouth twitched, and it cried out, "Sophie... hungry... milk..."

"Milk?" Xiaomei looked completely bewildered. "This thing needs milk? Where are we going to get milk for it?"

Sophie was also at a loss. In this desolate wilderness, there was no milk to be found, not even a soul in sight. She looked at the baby's emerald green skin, then at the pointed horns on his head, and a bold idea suddenly popped into her mind.

"Xiaomei, don't you think his skin tone looks a bit like..." Sophie paused, looking at the pile of kiwis in the corner of the cave, "...like those fruits?"

Xiao Mei followed Sophie's gaze and suddenly realized, "Holy crap! It really is! Could it be that this guy wants to eat those fruits?"

The two exchanged a glance, both seeing disbelief in each other's eyes. Had Li Jin's tastes changed after he became a baby?

Sophie carefully picked up a kiwi, peeled it, and held it to the baby's mouth. The baby immediately stopped crying, opened its little mouth, took a big bite of the kiwi, and began to eat it heartily.

"Wow, it really is!" Xiaomei exclaimed. "This flavor is amazing!"

Seeing the baby eating with relish, Sophie and Xiaomei finally breathed a sigh of relief. At least, they didn't have to worry about Li Jin starving to death.

"But why did he become like this?" Xiaomei pondered, chin in hand. "Could it be the work of that cocoon transformation?"

Sophie shook her head: "I don't know either. We'll find out when we get in touch with Lao Wang."

Just then, footsteps sounded outside the cave. Sophie and Xiaomei immediately became alert. Could it be Linna's men chasing after them?

"Who?" Sophie drew her sword and shouted sharply.

The footsteps grew closer, and a figure appeared at the cave entrance. It was none other than Old Wang, whom they had been waiting for.

"Old Wang!" Sophie and Xiaomei exclaimed in surprise.

Old Wang was also taken aback by the scene inside the cave. He looked at Sophie and Xiao Mei, then at the green-skinned baby munching on a kiwi, and asked in confusion, "What... is going on?"

Sophie and Xiaomei quickly told Old Wang what had happened. After listening, Old Wang stroked his beard, pondered for a moment, and said, "It seems that Li Jin has been affected by the energy of another world and has undergone some kind of mutation."

"Mutation?" Xiaomei's eyes widened. "When will he be able to change back?"

Old Wang shook his head: "It's hard to say. It depends on how quickly he absorbs the energy from the other world. But you don't need to worry too much. This mutation might not be a bad thing for him."

"It might not be a bad thing?" Sophie asked, puzzled. "He's turned into a baby, how can that be a good thing?"

Old Wang smiled and said, "Don't be fooled by his current infant form; it's only temporary. Once he fully absorbs the energy from the other world, he will gain even greater power."

"Even more powerful strength?" Xiaomei's eyes lit up. "Then wouldn't he be invincible?"

Old Wang smiled mysteriously: "Perhaps. But the most important thing right now is to find him a wet nurse."

"A wet nurse?" Sophie and Xiaomei were dumbfounded again. "Where are we going to find a wet nurse?"

Old Wang pointed at Xiao Mei and said meaningfully, "I think you're perfect for the role."

"Me?" Xiaomei pointed to her nose, looking terrified. "Old Wang, are you kidding me? I'm a woman! Where would I get breasts?"

Old Wang laughed heartily: "What I meant was, you're in charge of taking care of him and feeding him kiwis."

Xiao Mei then realized that Lao Wang was joking. She glared at him and said irritably, "Lao Wang, can't you be serious for once! This concerns Li Jin's life!"

Old Wang's smile faded, and he said seriously, "Alright, I'll stop teasing you. I'll find a suitable wet nurse; you all take good care of him first."

After speaking, Old Wang turned and left the cave. Sophie and Xiaomei watched his retreating figure, their hearts filled with doubt. Just how many secrets did this other world hold? What would Li Jin's future hold?

Just then, the baby suddenly stopped eating the kiwi, looked up into the depths of the cave, and let out a terrified scream: "Aaaaah! There's a ghost!"

Sophie and Xiaomei followed the baby's gaze and saw a dark figure slowly emerging from the depths of the cave...
