Keyboard Warrior's Otherworldly Adventure

Sophie gripped Li Jin's longsword tightly, the hilt clanking in her trembling hand. She stared intently at the man in black, her eyes like those of a wounded lioness, radiating a dangerous light. "You… deserve to die!" she spat out through gritted teeth, her voice hoarse.

The man in black sneered contemptuously, "You? A pampered princess? You think you can fight me?" He licked the blood off his dagger, his eyes filled with mockery and cruelty.

"Li Jin risked his life to protect you. If you just surrender like this, wouldn't his sacrifice have been in vain?" A clear voice came from the depths of the dense forest. The man in black was startled and turned to see a petite girl, wielding two swords, slowly emerging from the woods. It was Xiao Mei. The branches behind her swayed, and a small, snow-white, fox-like animal jumped down and rubbed against her feet.

"Little White, get ready for battle!" Xiao Mei patted the little beast's head, her eyes turning sharp.

The man in black's expression changed slightly; he hadn't expected there to be others present. However, he quickly regained his composure, letting out a cold laugh. "Another one coming to his death. Good, saves me the trouble of making another trip."

Sophie and Xiaomei exchanged a glance, and launched their attacks simultaneously. Sophie's longsword, imbued with a sharp aura, pierced straight for the man in black's throat. Xiaomei's twin blades, like two venomous snakes, nimbly attacked the man in black's vital points. Xiaobai also joined the battle; its agile movements constantly harassed the man in black, keeping him on his toes.

Although the man in black was powerful, he gradually found himself struggling against the combined attack of two women and a beast. He dodged the attacks while searching for an opportunity to break through.

"Princess Sophie, your swordsmanship is indeed excellent, but unfortunately you are too impatient." The man in black seized an opening in Sophie's defenses, and his dagger slashed across her arm, leaving a bloody gash.

"Ah!" Sophie cried out in pain, almost dropping the longsword from her hand.

"Sophie!" Xiaomei exclaimed and rushed forward to help.

The man in black took the opportunity to retreat, increasing the distance between himself and the two men. "Looks like I can't kill you today, but you won't be so lucky next time." He left with a harsh remark, then turned and disappeared into the dense forest.

Sophie and Xiaomei did not give chase; they knew that the most important thing now was to take care of the injured Li Jin.

Xiao Mei took out a bottle of medicinal powder from her pocket and sprinkled it on Sophie's wound. "This is my homemade wound medicine, it works very well."

Sophie nodded and gave Xiaomei a grateful look. "Thank you, Xiaomei."

"Don't mention it, we're all in the same boat now." Xiaomei smiled, then turned to look at the unconscious Li Jin, her eyes filled with worry. "How is Li Jin...?"

Sophie gently shook her head. "I don't know either... I hope he's alright..."

The two carefully carried Li Jin to a relatively safe place and then began to treat his wounds. The wound on Li Jin's back was deep, and blood had soaked through his clothes.

Sophie's tears flowed uncontrollably again. "Li Jin, you have to wake up... You promised me you'd take me back to your world..."

Seeing Sophie's sorrowful expression, Xiaomei felt a pang of sadness herself. She gently patted Sophie's shoulder. "Don't worry, Sophie. Li Jin is a lucky man; he'll be alright."

However, at that moment, an eerie green light suddenly emanated from Li Jin's wound...

The green light grew stronger and stronger, eventually enveloping Li Jin completely. Sophie and Xiaomei were startled by this sudden change; they looked at Li Jin in horror, not knowing what was happening.

The green light lasted for about a minute before slowly dissipating. Li Jin's body also changed... his skin became whiter, and his hair turned silver-white. Even more surprisingly, the wound on his back completely disappeared without leaving a trace.

Sophie and Xiaomei stared in disbelief at what was happening before their eyes, momentarily speechless.

Just then, Li Jin slowly opened his eyes... and his eyes had turned an eerie green...
