"Take my life?" Li Jin was shocked. This was too sudden! He hadn't even had a chance to enjoy life in this other world, and he was about to be killed? This was so unpleasant!

"Brother, are you mistaken? I don't think I've offended you, have I?" Li Jin tried to stall for time while secretly contacting the system, "System, is there any way to deal with this guy?"

The system's voice remained completely flat: "Host detected to be in danger. We recommend using the skill 'Flash' to escape the scene."

Li Jin clapped his hands and curled his lip in disdain. "With this little skill, you dare to try and kill me? You're really overestimating yourself!"

Just then, Sophie returned with the food and was stunned to see the mess in the room. "Li Jin, what...what happened here?"

Li Jin shrugged and said casually, "It's nothing."

He pointed at the unconscious man in black on the ground and said with a smile, "This guy tried to kill me, but I killed him instead."

Sophie looked at the man in black covered in blood on the ground, then at Li Jin who looked relaxed, and for a moment she didn't know what to say.
