As the black mist dissipated, the smell of dust filled the temple ruins, making Li Jin cough violently. He slumped to the ground, feeling as if all the bones in his body had fallen apart, utterly powerless. Sophie and Xiao Mei were in no better shape, their faces pale and panting heavily. Only Old Wang maintained his venerable appearance, though his face showed signs of fatigue.

"Cough cough... It's finally over..." Li Jin wiped the dust off his face, glancing with lingering fear at the spot where the Titan had disappeared. That thing was practically a bug; if the system hadn't upgraded again at the last minute, granting him the ability to manipulate time, he probably would have been done for today.

Old Wang walked up to Li Jin, patted him on the shoulder, and his cloudy eyes gleamed with admiration: "You did very well, young man. The courage and wisdom you showed far exceeded my expectations."

"Oh, not at all, it was all just good luck." Li Jin smiled modestly, but secretly he was pleased with himself. This old guy finally praised me; it seems my performance this time was indeed quite good.

"That crazy woman, she really wants to destroy the world!" Xiaomei said angrily.

"She has received her due punishment," Sophie said softly, a hint of sadness in her voice. Although Linna was an enemy, she was still a life.

Looking at Sophie, Li Jin felt a surge of pity. This seemingly delicate princess possessed an incredibly strong heart. Despite enduring so much hardship, she maintained her kindness and compassion, which earned his even greater respect.

"Alright, let's leave here first," Old Wang said. "It's no longer safe here."

The group got up and helped each other leave the temple ruins.

Upon returning to Sophie's palace, Li Jin immediately opened the system panel.

"System, what new features are included in this upgrade?"

"The system has been upgraded to version 2.0, with new features including: time manipulation, spatial jumps, energy absorption, and matter conversion..."

The series of new features dazzled Li Jin. He felt like he had opened a treasure trove and was so excited that he almost jumped for joy.

"Holy crap! That's insane!" Li Jin couldn't help but swear.

"Li Jin, are you alright?" Sophie asked with concern.

"It's okay, I'm just too excited!" Li Jin excitedly waved his fist. "With these new features, I feel like I can fly and dive into the earth, I'm invincible!"

"Keep a low profile, don't be too cocky," Old Wang reminded him with a smile. "With great power comes great responsibility. You need to be more careful in using these powers in the future."

Li Jin nodded; he knew Old Wang was right. Strength is a double-edged sword; if not used correctly, it can harm one.

"By the way, system, can I return to the real world?" Li Jin suddenly remembered this question.

"Of course, the host can perform a time-space jump at any time to return to the original world."

Hearing the system's reply, Li Jin was overjoyed. Although the other world was full of adventure and excitement, he still missed his family and friends in the real world.

"I won't go," Old Wang said with a smile and shook his head. "I'm too old to handle the hassle. You guys go ahead, I'll wait for you to come back here."

Li Jin nodded; he understood Old Wang's concerns.

"Alright, let's go!"

Li Jin activated the system's spatial jump function. A dazzling white light flashed, and the three of them instantly disappeared from the palace.

When Li Jin opened his eyes again, he found himself back in his apartment. The familiar surroundings brought him a sense of peace.

"Wow! Is this your world? It's amazing!" Xiaomei looked around curiously, her eyes filled with wonder.

Sophie was also full of curiosity about everything around her. Like a curious child, she kept asking Li Jin all sorts of questions.

Li Jin patiently answered Sophie and Xiao Mei's questions, his heart filled with warmth and happiness.

However, at that moment, a rapid knocking broke the silence.

"Li Jin! Open the door! I know you're in there!" A familiar voice came from outside the door.
