Keyboard Warrior's Otherworldly Adventure

The energy beam struck the shadowy figure, but there was no expected explosion or scream. As the light faded, the figure was completely unharmed! He slowly turned around, his eyes beneath his cloak gleaming with mockery. "That's it? Your so-called future technology is nothing special."

Li Jin stared wide-eyed in disbelief. This was an energy weapon capable of piercing steel plates; how could it be ineffective against him? A severe headache struck again, and the world before his eyes began to blur and distort. "System... what's going on?" he asked weakly.

"Beep! Target detected to possess an energy shield. We recommend the host use a mental attack." The system's cold voice rang in his mind. A mental attack? Li Jin smiled wryly. He could barely stand; where would he get the mental power for a mental attack?

The shadowy figure seemed to read his mind, letting out a chilling laugh. "Give up, keyboard warrior. You think you can become a hero just by transmigrating to another world? You're nothing but trash!" He approached step by step, the dagger in his hand gleaming with a dark light.

"Trash?" Li Jin gritted his teeth, a surge of anger burning within him. He was a keyboard warrior, the master of the online world—how could he be so humiliated by some scum from another world? "System, connect me to the network!"

"Beep! Attempting to connect... Connection failed. Network signal blocked in this area."

"Damn it!" Li Jin cursed under his breath. Was he really going to die here today? He looked at Su Fei and Xiao Mei in despair. They were also exhausted. Xiao Bai was covered in wounds and lay on the ground, barely alive.

Just then, a sudden change occurred. The once clear night sky was suddenly covered with dark clouds, streaks of lightning ripped across the horizon, and thunder roared. A fierce wind howled, and sand and stones flew everywhere, as if the end of the world had arrived.

The shadowy figure froze, looking up at the sky with a flicker of unease in its eyes. "What's going on?"

Suddenly, a massive bolt of lightning struck down from the sky, hitting the shadowy figure squarely. The figure screamed in agony, its body trembling violently, and the dagger in its hand fell to the ground.

As the smoke cleared, the dark figure vanished.

Li Jin and the others watched in shock as the scene unfolded. Before they could react, they felt the ground tremble violently. A gigantic figure slowly rose from the ground, blotting out the sky.

That was... a robot?

The robot was entirely black, with a bizarre and futuristic design. Its head glowed red, like a pair of cold eyes watching Li Jin and the others.

"Warning! Unauthorized intruder detected! Initiating removal procedure!" The robot emitted a cold, mechanical voice, raising its massive metal arm and slamming it down towards Li Jin and the others.

"Holy crap! What the hell is this?" Li Jin exclaimed, quickly pulling Sophie and Xiao Mei to hide.

The massive metal arm slammed into the ground with a deafening roar, instantly creating a huge crater.

"Run!" Li Jin shouted, and took off running with Sophie and Xiao Mei.

The robot pursued relentlessly, its massive metallic footsteps shaking the ground.

"System, is there any way to deal with it?" Li Jin asked as he ran.

"Beep! We recommend the host use an EMP weapon."

EMP weapon? Li Jin searched through his system space and found an EMP grenade. "Hopefully this thing will work." He pulled the safety pin and threw it at the robot.

An EMP grenade exploded at the robot's feet, releasing a powerful electromagnetic pulse. The robot paused, its lights flickered a few times, and then... it became paralyzed.

"Phew..." Li Jin breathed a sigh of relief and slumped to the ground.

Sophie and Xiaomei were also panting heavily, and Xiaobai even fainted.

"What exactly happened?" Princess Sophie asked, still shaken.

Li Jin shook his head; he was completely baffled. The dark shadow, the sudden lightning, and this enormous robot—it was all too bizarre.

Just then, the paralyzed robot suddenly emitted a "buzzing" sound, and the lights on its body began to flash again.

"Warning! System restarting... Restart complete! Target locked! Initiating cleanup process!"

"Damn it! This is never going to end!" Li Jin couldn't help but swear.

Just as the robot was about to launch another attack, an aged voice suddenly rang out: "Stop!"

An old man dressed in a white robe appeared out of thin air in front of the robot, holding a wooden cane in his hand.

"Old Wang?" Li Jin exclaimed in surprise.

Old Wang glanced at Li Jin, nodded slightly, then turned to the robot and shouted sternly, "You beast! Get out of here at once!"

The robot's red eyes flickered a few times, as if it was hesitating.

"You dare disobey my orders?" Old Wang's tone became even more stern.

The robot finally lowered its head, and its huge metal body slowly sank into the ground and disappeared.

Li Jin and the others stared in disbelief at the scene, their minds filled with questions. Just who was this Old Wang? How could he control such a powerful robot?
