"You can't escape..." the dark figure grinned maliciously, approaching step by step. He was a burly man, his entire body shrouded in a black cloak, revealing only a pair of eyes that gleamed with a cold light. In his hand, he held a dagger that emitted a dark glow, its blade reflecting a chilling light in the moonlight.

Princess Sophie, terrified, stepped in front of Li Jin, trying to remain calm. "Who are you? Why did you attack us?"

The shadowy figure let out a low, cold laugh. "Little princess, you don't need to know who I am. You just need to know that your little lover is going to die today!" With that, he suddenly raised his dagger and stabbed at Princess Sophie.
