"Jack? How did he know?" Li Jin was stunned for a moment, then his face darkened. This Jack was his competitor in the company; the two had always been at odds, and Jack was always trying to outdo him. He had kept his time travel a secret from everyone, so how did Jack know? Could it be that the system leaked the information? Thinking of this, Li Jin became even more annoyed with this unreliable system.

"I don't know either, I just got the news." Zhang Hao stamped his feet anxiously. "What do we do now? They'll probably be here soon!"

"Don't panic," Sophie calmly analyzed. "What does Jack want to do? He only knows that Li Jin has traveled through time, but he doesn't know where we went, let alone that we brought back the Fountain of Life."

"Yes," Xiaomei chimed in, "He can't just come and arrest us for no reason, can he? He needs a reason."

Li Jin thought for a moment, then suddenly slapped his thigh: "I know! Jack definitely wants to find evidence that I time-traveled, and then use that to blackmail me into handing over company secrets!"

"Very likely," Zhang Hao nodded. "That guy will do anything to climb the ladder!"

"What do we do now?" Xiaomei panicked. "If Jack exposes that we've traveled to another world, we'll be in big trouble!" If the news about the other world gets out, it could cause a huge uproar, and we might even be captured and dissected for research.

"What's there to be afraid of!" Li Jin retorted, "We'll deal with whatever comes our way! We'll fight them to the death!" Although he said that, Li Jin was not confident. After all, Jack was not someone to be trifled with, and this time he had brought his men with him.

"No, a direct confrontation is definitely not going to work." Sophie shook her head. "Our situation is very unfavorable right now. Li Jin's system has entered a dormant state again, so we can't use the power of the other world at all. Besides, we can't expose the matter of the Fountain of Life."

"Then what do you suggest we do?" Li Jin looked at Su Fei as if he had grasped at a straw.

Sophie pondered for a moment and said, "We need to keep Jack calm and buy some time before we figure out how to get away."

"How do we stabilize the situation?" Zhang Hao asked.

"Just say... just say Li Jin is sick and needs to rest," Sophie suggested, "Anyway, he really isn't feeling well right now."

"Will this work?" Li Jin asked with some doubt.

"Let's try anything, even if it's a long shot," Sophie shrugged. "It's better than just sitting around waiting to die."

The knocking started again, more urgent than before; Jack was clearly impatient.

"They're here!" Li Jin took a deep breath, ready for battle. He opened the door and saw Jack standing outside with several bodyguards in black, looking arrogant.

"Li Jin, long time no see," Jack said sarcastically. "I heard you haven't been feeling well lately? Should I call an ambulance for you?"

"Jack, what do you mean?" Li Jinqiang tried to remain calm, blocking the doorway to prevent Jack from entering.

"What do you mean? You know perfectly well!" Jack sneered. "Stop pretending. I know you've traveled through time! If you know what's good for you, cooperate obediently, otherwise..."

"Otherwise what?" Li Jin looked at Jack provocatively.

Jack smirked and waved his hand. His bodyguards immediately stepped forward and surrounded Li Jin.

"Otherwise, I'll show you what regret is!" Jack said viciously.

Just then, Sophie and Xiaomei came out of the room. Sophie was holding the Fountain of Life, while Xiaomei was carrying a strange weapon she had brought back from another world.

"Jack, what are you doing?" Sophie asked coldly. "Trespassing is illegal!"

Jack was visibly taken aback when he saw Sophie and Xiaomei; he hadn't expected them to be there.

"What...what are you doing here?" Jack asked, somewhat surprised.

"Why can't we be here?" Xiaomei retorted. "But what are you trying to do, bringing so many people here?"

Jack's eyes lit up with a sudden idea. Pointing to the crystal bottle in Sophie's hand, he feigned surprise and exclaimed, "What is this? Could it be... the Fountain of Life?!"

"You...how did you know?!" Li Jin and Su Fei exclaimed at the same time, realizing something was wrong.
