Chapter 52 The Speechless Tony Stark (2.6k)

The Warhammer IP originated in the 1970s and 80s.

It is a futuristic, sci-fi, gothic-style space opera.

As a super scientist, these science fiction works themselves are a source of inspiration for Tony. For example, his Iron Man suit is named after Mark.

It shares the same name as the power armor from the Warhammer World Mark series.

"Such a huge thing, is it the original Astartes?" Tony Stark whispered.

However, his voice was perfectly clear to the ears of these cyborgs.

They didn't take it seriously. The Astartes and Spartans were the Empire's two most famous modified soldiers, already renowned throughout the universe. The Astartes' formidable combat power was even referred to as demigod by some interstellar alliances.

Because once they arrive, it's as if gods have descended to earth and nothing can stop their slaughter.

Spartan warriors are super soldiers used to assist Astartes and carry out decapitation operations. They are smaller in size but not weak in strength, and their powerful combat ability has earned them the title of "Bloody Angels".

"It seems he's not from an ignorant planet; he even knows our name," Terra said.

"However, what is an original casting?"

After all, Dio performed the original casting surgery directly, so there was no distinction between original casting and non-original casting.

"Uh..." Tony was interrupted before he could answer.

“Never mind, it’s probably a translation problem during transmission. Let’s ignore it. The target has been found,” another Astartes reminded.

Everyone looked over and saw a spaceship that had stopped jumping on the spaceship screen. At this moment, the spaceship was about to hide in the asteroid belt.

"Now or wait?" Titan asked the two Astartes soldiers.

“Wait until they’ve stopped and it feels safe before we go,” Terra suggested.

The suggestion was excellent and passed unanimously. Everyone began the final checks before the battle.

Tony Stark had recovered from his shock.

The presence of both the Astartes from the Warhammer universe and the Spartans from Halo is mind-blowing enough, but Tony Stark discovers that neither the Astartes nor the Spartans are behaving as they were originally envisioned.

Perhaps it's just a similarity?

Tony Stark thought to himself as he wiped the massive ammunition.

Several hours later, five Spartan warriors had already left their ship and quietly approached the enemy ship, while two Astartes equipped themselves with weapons and entered the landing pod.

Tony Stark remained calm and undisturbed.

The entire spaceship was being monitored by an intelligent system called Titan (who didn't know it was a Transformer). He did try some underhanded tactics, but they were all discovered and destroyed.

Tony Stark could only gently hug himself and watch the battle footage being recorded on the screen.

After the Spartan warriors had reached the outside of the spaceship and hacked the system, they were notified that they could board the ship.

Two Astartes were ready. The landing pods ejected, quickly approached, and used laser weapons to penetrate the energy shields and smash into the enemy ship!

Alarms began to sound inside the enemy ship, and the large hole that had been breached was quickly closed by metal shields, allowing five Spartan warriors to enter.

"What's going on? Why was there no warning before someone attacked our spaceship?!" the commander inside the enemy spaceship roared in anger.

“Our alarms identified the enemy ship as friendly, so…” The deputy’s words enraged the commander.

"Go fix it right away! Then prepare to jump away!" Faced with the commander's exposed words, the deputy quickly gave the order.

But when they tried to start the engine, they found it had stalled!

"Bang! Bang!"

A muffled gunshot rang out, and the commander asked in shock, "What's going on? Why can I hear gunfire here too? Where are the people who went to defend themselves?!"

The deputy quickly turned on the monitor and found two people wearing blue power armor moving forward at a leisurely pace.

The terracotta armor on his body perfectly withstood the incoming bullets, whether they were energy weapons or kinetic weapons.

The one in front was carrying a huge terracotta shield, while the one behind him, holding a machine gun and wearing Terminator armor, was not following behind at all.

After turning a corner, they encountered an ambush; a group of armed enemies were firing wildly at them with all sorts of weapons.

Terra was in front of them, holding up his terracotta shield to block the attack, while his other hand fired bursts of bullets from his bolter. Behind him, his teammates, clad in Terminator armor, raised their machine guns and began firing wildly.

The commander was stunned!

"How could there be an Astartes!"

Faced with the commander's roar, everyone trembled with fear, frantically hiding in corners, covering their mouths and holding their breath, as if this would prevent them from being exposed.

In an instant, the enraged commander calmed down and asked in confusion, "Why is the sound in the video different from the one next to me?"

His response was a tungsten-core bullet.

“They’re not all from the same group; their voices are definitely different.” Sparta finally spoke after killing everyone inside.

"Stop talking nonsense and hurry up and check where the stuff is," a Spartan soldier standing guard with his gun pointed at him ordered.

Only two of them came to the command room together; the other three had already gone to the warehouse. If there was a record in the computer, they could just open the warehouse door; otherwise, they would have to search the entire spaceship.

The soldier nodded in agreement and then began checking the information on the computer.

"The information indicates the item is in the warehouse. Have you arrived yet?"

"We'll be there soon. The counterattack at the warehouse entrance is fierce!" replied the only female warrior among the five Spartan warriors.

"Damn it, wasn't everyone's attention drawn away?!" the female soldier roared as she dodged the incoming grenade.

The two Spartan warriors in the command room checked and found that they couldn't open the warehouse door from their own position. They then guessed, "The warehouse door should be separate and only opened after the goods are delivered. Those people must have been hired by the employer alone!"

"Damn it, get backup! These guys have gone mad, they're firing shells randomly!"

"The warehouse must have been reinforced with high-strength alloy, but I don't know if the spaceship's frame can withstand it."

As he spoke, the Spartan warriors in the command room rushed to the warehouse.

Meanwhile, Terra's forces, having dealt with the resistance, arrived at the command center. After checking the situation, they asked, "Titan, the scan results have been sent to you. Did you find anything?"

Titan paused, looked at the test results, and exclaimed, "Apart from the ones in the command center, the DNA of the others is basically the same. They are clones!"

The Spartan warriors breathed a sigh of relief as soon as Titan finished speaking.

The reinforcements have just arrived and have already taken care of the defenders.

According to the inspection, these were identical clones, and they wore a high-strength alloy armor, whose defensive capabilities were no less than those of power armor with a ceramic shell.

This alloy is even lighter.

"So sturdy? How did you deal with them?" Terra asked after arriving.

The firepower of the Spartans was hardly effective against the Astartes' ceramic armor, let alone the alloy armor which was even better than ceramic armor.

"Titan's analysis says these clones had a genetic defect that prevented them from engaging in strenuous activity, and they just killed themselves," the Spartan warriors explained.

The Titans picked up a suit of armor and tried it out. Their immense strength, which could destroy even terracotta armor with their bare hands, could only crush this alloy armor into a ball.

Another Astartes spoke up: "Let me try."

With that, he used all his strength, held on for a moment, and then actually tore the alloy armor apart with his bare hands!

“Your power has grown even stronger,” Terra exclaimed.

"Just exercise every day, all you do when you get home is lie in bed and sleep." After making a sarcastic remark about Terra, the Astartes' attention shifted to the torn alloy armor in his hand.

"This alloy armor is strong, but it should be newly made and doesn't have a complete powered armor system. In theory, it can still harm armed personnel with a bomb gun," the Astartes man analyzed.

These clones wore only a thin layer of alloy armor, with just regular clothes underneath, and even the shock absorption system consisted of just an extra layer of foam...

"Take the target items away quickly, and bring the captured armor back to the Empire as well. I'm sure the Emperor will be able to analyze the structure and replicate it," Terra ordered.

Everyone nodded in agreement, then packed their things and waited for Titan to arrive and board the ship.

Of course, the one moving things is now Tony Stark.

Tony Stark was speechless at the familiar armor design before him.

Wow, this universe is really interesting. It even has elements of Star Wars. Could it be that all those science fiction works on Earth were created by aliens?

Tony Stark's lips twitched.
