Chapter 51 The Shocked Tony Stark

"Name."

"Tony Stark."

"gender."

"Really? Oh, okay, okay, male, a genuine one."

Tony Stark dodged a dagger that was over fifty centimeters long and grazed his scalp.

That dagger just now easily disassembled my armor into a bunch of parts.

"age."

"42 is old."

(P.S.: Tony Stark in the cinematic universe was born in 1970. This is the timeline of Avengers: Endgame, set in 2012 on Earth. Tony is currently 42 years old.)

Where are you from?

"Earth."

"what?"

The interrogator was a retired Astartes veteran named Terra, who paused and looked at Tony Stark with a puzzled expression.

Where is Earth?

"Laniakea Supercluster - Virgo Cluster - Local Group - Milky Way - Orion Arm - Gould Belt - Local Bubble - Local Interstellar Cloud - Oort Cloud - the third planet of the Solar System?" Tony Stark looked at the person in front of him with a serious expression.

Terra covered her forehead.

Do you know how many solar systems are in the Orion Arm?!

"And to be able to say something so obviously fake, you really have guts!"

Terra roared, and mechanical tentacles extended from the spaceship, binding Tony Stark once again.

“I think it would be more appropriate to just banish him into space,” suggested a female Spartan veteran.

?

Tony Stark was very surprised and immediately started shouting.

"Don't do that, guys, I'm a scientist! Look here, I made this with my own hands!" Tony Stark quickly puffed out his chest, revealing the reactor on his chest.

Upon hearing this, everyone glanced at the reactor on Tony Stark's chest and exchanged glances.

Controlled nuclear fusion is not a particularly advanced technology within the Empire, but building a small, miniaturized cold fusion reactor by hand without a proper working environment is still quite difficult.

“She has some ability, but not much. My son's physics exam for his junior high school graduation consisted of making something like this,” the female Spartan warrior said.

"Excuse me, beautiful lady, you're married? That's such a shame!" Tony Stark blurted out without thinking when he heard that she had a son.

"Bang!" A dull thud came from Tony Stark's stomach, and he instantly went limp.

“He’s probably a spy for some interstellar alliance. It would be better to get rid of him,” Terra guessed, but her tone was one of certainty.

The spaceship understood his meaning and began moving its internal parts to send Tony out.

Tony Stark suffered a heavy blow to the stomach, drooling and struggling to utter a complete sentence.

"...Wait, are you planning to just throw me out like that?...No protective measures at all? Are you...joking?" Tony Stark was extremely flustered, and he had already begun to slowly move away from the center of the spaceship.

"I'm still capable, I'm very competent. You'll definitely need someone to clean up during your space voyage, and my stamina is still excellent." Tony Stark had already begun to abandon his dignity, enduring the excruciating pain in his stomach as he spoke. After all, this was a matter of life and death; if he were really thrown out, wouldn't he turn into an ice pop?

Tony Stark stopped in his tracks as soon as he finished speaking.

"Are you kidding me, Titan? You're going to leave him here?" Terra asked the spaceship in disbelief.

The spaceship is a large spaceship-type Transformer called Titan. It originally belonged to the Transformers Force, but after Deo extended the service system to the Transformers Force, they all went crazy.

Some Transformers enjoy adventure and fun, so they apply to travel the universe after retirement; others want to repay a debt of gratitude and continue working for the Empire's official organizations after retirement.

For example, this time, these retired veterans received a special mission.

They need to intercept and seize an unknown device secretly being transported by the enemy.

As soon as Terra finished speaking, a humanoid robot assembled inside the spaceship.

“He can build a cold fusion reactor by hand, which shows he has good hands-on skills. And you guys never clean my interior. I always have to wait a long time to go back and clean it. Since he has good hands-on skills, I want him to come and clean with me,” Titan explained forcefully.

Terra and the female Spartan warrior both rolled their eyes.

Terra said, "We're not far from our target location. I won't care if he gets killed when the battle starts."

After saying that, he opened the door and walked out.

"Titan, remember this: it's because you refused to bring a few servants to help you clean up," the Spartan warrior said before leaving.

“The servants are all undead, their bodies rot, and the smell is so strong that even Terrans aren’t used to it,” Titan retorted.

The Spartan warrior didn't turn around, but gave him the middle finger.

Titan sighed, looked at the motionless Tony Stark, and released him on a whim.

"Now, you're my personal cleaner. Go downstairs, grab the tools, and get cleaning done!"

"..."

Thus, Tony Stark escaped his fate of dying in space and temporarily survived here.

It took him about three days to reach the target area.

Because it was a special mission, there were no more than seven people on the spaceship, including two retired Astartes veterans and the rest retired Spartan warriors.

Tony Stark has been trying to use his silver tongue to win over these people in hopes of getting a new job, since the interior of this Transformer is truly enormous. According to his own measurements, the interior space may exceed 800 cubic meters.

As for why I say "maybe," it's because Tony Stark has never been allowed to enter the room where these seven retired Space Marine veterans stored their armor.

Tony Stark's attempt to build rapport failed because they assumed he was a researcher from some interstellar alliance or cosmic nation, sent to their ship during a space teleportation mission. They were all focused on handing Tony Stark over to their respective nations once the mission was complete.

So the people on the ship ignored him. Tony found parts of his armor and tried to put them back together to fix it, but found that none of them were good and it was completely unusable.

Only a few parts could be kept as souvenirs; the rest were thrown into the incinerator under the watchful eye of the Titan spaceship.

"How's it going? How much longer until we arrive?" Terra asked the spaceship as she put on her armor.

“Based on the estimated time, you have one hour to prepare,” Titan said.

Terra nodded; he had the foresight to have everyone put on their armor beforehand and was now maintaining their weapons.

Tony Stark was speechless with surprise when he saw the group of people in armor.

As a scientist, he reads science fiction works with the intention of finding inspiration; he never imagined that those outrageous and unscientific science fiction works could be made into a physical entity.

But it never imagined that its steel armor was also difficult to explain using proper scientific knowledge.

His absurd operability and his thin shock absorption system that can withstand tank shells are things that even if the Earth were to conduct independent research for a hundred years, it might not be able to make.

"This is... Halo? Project Sparta?" Tony Stark couldn't help but reach out to touch the nearest piece of Thor's Hammer armor.

"Slap!" Tony Stark's face was successfully slapped.

The closest person to him was that Spartan female warrior.

Tony Stark's head was buzzing, but he wasn't annoyed. He struggled to get up and looked at Terra and the other person.

Standing at approximately 2.7 meters tall, with a body even larger than the Hulk, and adorned with blue armor and an inverted "W" symbol on the armor.

He was even more shocked!
