Chapter 48 Imperial Development
Dio was speechless at Hela's words.
"What are you thinking? Thor's actions were his own fault. The Thor in that universe also loved to throw parties. He disobeyed Odin and Frigga's orders to come to Earth and party, and even brought people from other universes to Earth to cause trouble." Dio briefly recounted the things Thor did in that world.
“That must be his true nature,” Hela commented.
"He enjoys excitement, throwing parties, and having affairs everywhere."
Hela paused, then said, "Just like Odin before."
Dio made no comment; Hera knew Odin better than anyone else, so whatever she said was law.
"So what's next?" Hela asked.
"Now that those so-called major events are no longer happening, do you have any suggestions?"
"Advice? My advice is to strengthen your own abilities, so that you don't end up as cannon fodder when things happen." Dio leaned back in his chair, propping his cheek up with his hand.
"Do you have a way to deal with those people on Earth?" Hela suddenly asked.
Dio shook his head: "Those bio-robots are sold in bulk. If you kill these few, they'll be delivered again in a couple of days. Don't worry about them."
"Besides, Arithm is an old guy who existed before the birth of this universe. His strength is unimaginable. Unless I have the same strength as the Eternal God, it wouldn't be difficult for Arithm to capture or kill me if he wanted to." Dio understood Hela's meaning.
Earth is the birthplace and foundation of their divine race, and no matter what, they will not abandon this place, even if Earth is just a piece of the puzzle in their divine territory.
Hela had no choice but to give up after hearing this.
Time slips away unnoticed.
The 2.5kth era of the Empire's founding.
A lot has happened during this period.
Because Dio proposed and created various high-tech and pro-people policies, he greatly improved the living standards of the people and generated revenue for the empire.
More than a thousand years ago, over 95% of the regions and people had already achieved a moderately prosperous life, and the crackdown on prostitution and organized crime had created a relatively stable living environment in society.
This is something that even the former Kree Empire could not achieve for Dio's nebula-level territory.
Externally, Dio cracked down on all kinds of illegal and criminal activities. Whether it was space pirates or raiders led by the Starhawks, they were all besieged and wiped out by Dio's troops.
Dio did not exterminate the Raiders because of their unique nature, but instead incorporated them into the Empire, using them as spies to monitor other interstellar alliances and cosmic empires.
These achievements made Dio's empire famous throughout almost the entire universe.
Even many newly arrived alliances and nations were eager to join Dio's empire, but Dio stated that he would only accept cooperation with regions that genuinely needed assistance or had abundant resources.
This mutually beneficial arrangement not only achieves a win-win situation but also enhances the empire's reputation abroad.
However, it's not a good reputation.
Space pirates and raiders belong to the same type of organization.
However, the Raiders are more united and disciplined, and they do not act as lackeys of the Interstellar Alliances and Cosmic Empires.
Because of their loose organizational structure, space pirates became the preferred scapegoat for many cosmic empires and interstellar alliances.
Because of their unique organization and the powerful strength of their leader, Starhawk, many cosmic empires have been unable to effectively incorporate the Raiders, who often just take the money without doing any work.
Now, thanks to Dio's appearance, these cosmic empires and alliances are more cohesive, and raiders have more opportunities to do odd jobs, but these jobs are mostly tedious, low-paying, and dangerous.
Now, Dio has essentially incorporated the Raiders into his ranks. He provides them with supplies, and they search for all sorts of clandestine information for the Empire.
By eliminating the space pirates, Dio essentially offended the interstellar alliances and cosmic empires, but due to the strength of the Dio Empire, they could only swallow their anger.
"The Empire's strength can be said to be unprecedented and unparalleled. Brother, I don't know what you're thinking. Why do you always want to stay at home?" Star Fox Eros, Dio's younger brother.
He is currently questioning Dio at his house.
Since the empire's strength increased, Dio changed his previous five-year plan to a fifty-year plan. After determining the next planning direction, Dio became semi-retired.
After taking a squad of Imperial Guards with him, he planned to train successors and handed over power to several highly capable newly promoted members of the Eternal God Clan.
He had considered passing the position to his descendants, and there was no such thing as a life limit for his and Hela's races. However, as Hela grew stronger, the life and death power within her body continued to circulate, and it might take hundreds of years for them to conceive a life together.
Not to mention Dio, Hela herself was unwilling.
In addition, Dio had grown weary of wielding power after living for so many years.
Having great power is certainly good, but that's all it is—good.
Dio had little personal ambition for the sake of this empire; his greatest ambition was probably to give his position to a member of the Eternal Gods.
Even his own brother and Hela were gradually removed from their posts after the incident. Eros raised him for a while before letting him go out and make his own way in the world. It was only after Dio recruited the raiders that he found him again.
Now back in the Empire, Eros lives a comfortable, unemployed life on the money he amassed from the raiders.
As for what to do next, Eros said he had a plan, and Dio didn't concern himself with it anymore.
Hela, after being severely injured by the Supreme Evolution, returned to the Empire to train herself. Later, she went to the Chinese God Clan with Dio, but did not take over control of the army after returning.
Now, Dio only retains control over the Space Marines, taking one hundred Imperial Guards and one thousand Transformers as his guards before leaving the matter to others.
He spends all his time either training or trying to improve the strength of his guard.
“You’re right, it’s really not feasible to just stay at home and work in isolation.” Dio thought for a moment and nodded.
Eros perked up. Dio hadn't been going out at all lately, and he hadn't had a chance to go out and have some fun with his older brother.
"Come on, brother, let's go out and relax. Don't exhaust yourselves." Eros knew his brother's influence within the empire, so he took Dio abroad.
Eros arrived on a planet for travel with Dio.
“This is a gathering of raiders. Starhawk entrusted me to bring you here. He brought good news,” Eros explained.
Now he won't care what Eros does; as long as it's not illegal or criminal, he'll choose to turn a blind eye.
However, he was unaware that Eros was actually connected with Starhawk.
The name Star Eagle is not for one person, but a combination of two people.
He is an adopted son of a family called Ogd in the universe, a being formed by the union of a person named Skata Ogd and his wife Aletta.
Skata and his wife entered a forbidden area where they touched a statue called the Eagle God. As a result, his wife was able to transform into an energy-like state and merge with her husband Skata to form a new entity.
The couple called it the Star Eagle.
In his Starhawk form, he possesses many powerful superpowers.
One of them is immortality.
This gives the Star Eagle an unimaginable lifespan.
At least when Dio left Titan to explore the universe, he had heard of the name of Starhawk, the leader of the raiders.
It's easy to imagine how many years Star Eagle has lived!
Starhawk's superpowers are similar to Superman's; he can fly at the speed of light in space and possesses super strength, endurance, senses, and physical resistance.
In addition, Star Eagle can manipulate light and dark energy to form various solid and energy attacks.
Of course, this strength is also limited, otherwise Dio would not have been able to incorporate the Starhawks, which were being tried to incorporate by those alliances and major powers.
