Huh? There's a magic school here.
Rewards for Chapter 57 Main Quest
Then the activation of the hall's magic dome kept everyone entertained for a while.
"This is the real Hogwarts! The Great Hall without the magic dome makes the whole Hogwarts lose a bit of its color!" Jean exclaimed excitedly, pointing to the magic dome. Of course, the entire Great Hall was filled with the buzzing of discussion, and no one paid any attention to his shouting.
The delightful Halloween dinner was quickly halfway over, and after most of the little wizards had finished their food, the dessert table was filled with all sorts of candies of various sizes—candy is an essential part of Halloween!
A Hufflepuff wizard opened a five-pointed star-shaped box and found a chocolate frog inside. The chocolate frog puffed out its cheeks and then began hopping away from the box.
The little wizard saw the chocolate frog jump onto the table, quickly grabbed it with both hands, and then ate it, showing it off to the other little wizards.
"Flatsch, look! There's a chocolate frog in the candy pile. I just tried one, and it tastes really good."
"Really? Then get me two. I'm planning to take them back to my dorm to eat. These lollipops are pretty good. I'll get you two."
"Okay, thank you. By the way, how's your homework coming along?"
"Yordan, it's Halloween! Please don't say such unpleasant things, okay?"
"Okay, I was just asking casually. I haven't finished my homework yet, but luckily I have time to catch up tomorrow."
"Anyway, I finished writing it at the library this afternoon while you were sleeping, so good luck to you. Here, take the candy, the dinner is almost over."
Sure enough, Andres soon announced that the dinner was over. Everyone was free to do as they pleased, as it was Halloween Eve and the curfew was an hour later than usual. He also mentioned that each college's common room had a portion of the candy on the table.
The young wizards cheered and dispersed. Once they were all gone, Andres chuckled as he looked at the system panel in the void. Because after he announced the extension of the curfew, the young wizards' happiness level had reached 73/100.
Andres immediately submitted the task, and a series of system notifications sounded.
"Congratulations, host, on completing Main Quest Four: Students' happiness at Hogwarts is 73/100 (Perfect). Quest rewards are as follows: 1000 System Points, 1 Professor Card, 4 House Commons Cards, and 1 Centaur Tribe Card."
Andres looked utterly bewildered. The first three rewards were unremarkable. But what was the meaning of the fourth reward—a Centaur Tribe card? Was it because Hogwarts Castle had been upgraded to level four, unlocking the Forbidden Forest map?
Or does the system want greater diversity in the species of this world? Now that the Forbidden Forest exists, and a centaur tribe has joined it, Andres has a vague idea of who Professor Card might be. After all, the system never does anything without a reason.
So Andreas came to the castle and stood at the edge of the Forbidden Forest. He could clearly sense that this Forbidden Forest was different from when he first came here. He had come here to survey the area before he established Hogwarts, and back then the Forbidden Forest was just an ordinary forest.
But now he could clearly sense that the Forbidden Forest was filled with magic, and under its influence, the plants and trees seemed taller and more vibrant than those elsewhere. He could even sense that, over time, these trees would exceed the limits of their species and grow taller and taller.
He faced the Forbidden Forest and used the Professor Card. Don't ask why he summoned the Professor here; it was just intuition. A flash of white light and a tall figure appeared before Andres—it was him!
"Hello, Principal Andres." The tall figure wiped his hands on himself, greeted Andres, and extended his hand.
“Hello, Rubeus Hagrid. It’s a pleasure to meet you. We just happen to have the Forbidden Forest and are worried about who will guard it.” Andres also extended his hand and shook hands with him.
"Don't worry, Headmaster Andres. You can completely entrust the Forbidden Forest to me. You know I've always been the Keeper of the Forbidden Forest and the custodian of the keys to Hogwarts." Hagrid thumped his chest loudly to increase credibility.
“Alright, Hagrid. Let’s step back for a bit; we’ll be welcoming new friends soon.” With that, Andres used the Centaur Tribe card on the Forbidden Forest again.
This time was different from usual; no white light appeared. This surprised Andres, but then he suddenly heard the sound of horses' hooves approaching. He saw over twenty centaurs of various sizes galloping out of the Forbidden Forest and stopping in front of Andres and Hagrid.
“Hello, Headmaster of Hogwarts. Thank you for granting us permission to relocate to the Forbidden Forest. I am Anduin Meyer, Chieftain of the Battleaxe Clan, and these are my people.” A tall, middle-aged centaur stepped forward.
“Greetings, Chief Anduin Mayer, welcome to the Forbidden Forest.” Andres greeted the centaur Anduin with a wizard’s salute.
"Chief Anduin, I think there are some things we need to clarify. First, the Forbidden Forest belongs to Hogwarts. I'm only allowing you to live here, so as an obligation, you should maintain the environment of the Forbidden Forest."
"Of course, the Forbidden Forest is not only yours but also our home. Of course we will protect our home; it's nothing special."
"Secondly, I hope you will not appear in the Muggle world casually, you understand that this will cause unnecessary trouble."
“I completely agree. Our tribe will not leave the Forbidden Forest. Even if we were to leave, we would discuss it with you first. However, we also hope that Hogwarts can guarantee that we will not be disturbed.”
"Finally, I know some mischievous young wizards from the school will surely sneak into the Forbidden Forest. If you encounter them, I hope you won't make things difficult for them, and will instead take them out of the Forbidden Forest and hand them over to Hagrid."
"Please rest assured, we centaurs have no tradition of mistreating foals. If our people find out, we will hand them over to Hagrid."
"That's fine then. I have nothing more to say. If you need help or need to contact me, you can reach me through Hagrid."
“Of course, Hagrid is our good friend. But Headmaster, we have some trouble right now and need your help. Of course, we won’t take anything for nothing; that doesn’t align with our principles.”
"Whatever I can do, I will do it."
"It's like this, this forbidden forest is still too young, and we lack food here. I wonder if the principal could provide us with some food? And also some plant seeds, in return we'll give you half of the produce."
"No problem. What do you need? Could you provide a list?"
