Huh? There's a magic school here.

Chapter 49 A Weekend Morning

Andres returned to the principal's office, brought up the system interface again, looked at the magical pet card, and selected to use it. A flash of white light appeared, and an egg crackling with lightning appeared before him. The system notification indicated that it was a Thunderbird egg, with a one-week incubation period.

Looking at the Thunderbird's eggs, Andres scratched his head. Just leaving them like that wouldn't work, because Thunderbirds love thunderstorms. Therefore, the eggs needed to be kept in the same weather, and raw meat strips would have to be prepared for them when they hatched.

Raw meat strips are fine, but it's not like it's raining in the Scottish Highlands right now. Even on rainy days, thunder isn't frequent. It seems I'll have to look for a solution in the system shop. Andres searched the system for a while and found something useful.

It's called the Lazy Man's Traveling Tent. This magical tent is mainly designed to allow wizards who don't like to move around to experience various terrains and weather conditions. The tent doesn't look big, but it has an area of about one kilometer in diameter inside.

You can adjust any climate environment with just a spell, so Andres spent 500 points to redeem this item. He didn't expect this little guy to be so resource-intensive even before it was born. So, a small tent was set up in the corner of Andres's office.

The system interface was brought up again. Each Nimbus 2000 flying broomstick was worth ten points, and a total of forty broomsticks would cost four hundred system points. This was much more extravagant than when Harry first joined the team. When Harry joined, the flying broomsticks in Hogwarts Castle were mostly the Sweeping Broom and Comet series.

When the white light dissipated and a pile of flying brooms lay on the ground, Andres couldn't resist picking one up and stepping onto it. He floated in the air, opened the window with his wand, and leaned forward. The broom, as if receiving some kind of command, carried Andres whooshing out the window.

Andres recalled the feeling of riding a roller coaster in a certain valley in his past life—the feeling of speeding along, the stinging sensation of the wind on his face, and the tearing sensation of the wind getting into his eyes.

However, Andreas still squinted and circled the castle once, then hovered above it, surveying the entire Hogwarts. It would be pretentious not to feel proud and honored at that moment. After all, he had built such a large school.

Although it was thanks to the system, I also put in my own hard work! Looking at the dark clouds obscuring half the moon, the scene was truly beautiful. I sat on a broomstick, gazing at the sky for a while, lost in thought. Fate is truly wondrous. Just a few months ago I was a nobody, and now I can fly freely in the sky.

He turned and went back to the headmaster's office, calling Dobby over. He took all the flying brooms to the storage room on the first floor and told Dobby to remember to lock them in case some mischievous little wizard tried to steal them.

Nothing happened that night, and the next day was October 1st. The National Day of a certain Eastern superpower was just an ordinary Sunday for the West in 2006. Most of the little wizards were sleeping in, but there were always a few exceptions.

"Wow, what's that in the distance? It looks like a stadium. I must be hallucinating from waking up too fast." Beretta got up early because the owl from a few days ago told her that Catherine would be coming to the castle to talk to the headmaster today.

So she ran to the washbasin and quickly washed her face, then returned to the windowsill. The building was still there. Through the three huge brass rings she could vaguely see, she instantly realized that it must be the Quidditch pitch.

Wait, a Quidditch pitch? This thing wasn't here last night, and it suddenly appeared today. It's a miracle, such a huge pitch overnight! She ran to Erlinda's bed and pounced on her.

"Get up, get up! Erlinda, something terrible has happened at school!" Well, Beretta knows journalism!

"Ugh~ Let me sleep a little longer, just a little while, just a little while." Unfortunately, Erlinda didn't give her any face and turned over to continue sleeping. Beretta had a bit of a headache. This girl can eat and sleep so much and doesn't gain weight! That's too much! So she looked at her other roommate.

"Wendy, Wendy! Wake up!" Beretta called to Wendy again.

"What's wrong? Beretta, it's the weekend today!" Wendy sat up groggily.

"Something big has happened at school! Get up quickly, let's go see!" Beretta continued to display her inexplicable journalistic talent.

"Oh? What happened? I'm coming right now." Wendy got up to wash her face. After Wendy finished washing up, Beretta pulled her to the window and pointed to the stadium in the distance, saying, "Wendy, look at that over there!"

"Huh? Huh? That? Could it be the Quidditch pitch? When did it appear?" Wendy asked Beretta incredulously.

"I don't know, it must have been last night, because it wasn't here yesterday afternoon. This is the big deal I was talking about, let's go! Let's go see." Beretta eagerly pulled Wendy out the door, leaving her other two roommates to sleep.

The two hurriedly left the dormitory and arrived at the common room lobby. To their surprise, the common room was different today. Several shield and weapon decorations had appeared on the walls, along with a few paintings.

They, along with the previous paintings, were no longer lifeless; the things in the portraits had come alive! The two women stared in disbelief as they saw the knights from the two portraits run into one and begin a duel. One of them knocked the other's sword away and stood there triumphantly.

The other knight cursed him, calling him despicable and refusing to come again this time.

Right where they came down from the second floor, there was a painting of a lion chasing its prey. Good heavens, what's going on? It feels like the whole castle has come alive.

The two continued forward to the bulletin board, where they saw the new January's schedule. To their surprise, the schedule was different; they were no longer stuck with the monotonous daily class. They now had an extra flight lesson on both Mondays and Thursdays.

Then, a look of sudden realization dawned on their faces. No wonder! The problem lay here: they were about to start flight lessons! They were both excited and terrified—excited because they could fly! Terrified because it was so high up, it was so scary!

Leaving the classroom, they discovered that Hogwarts Castle had indeed come to life, with many new paintings appearing on the walls, just like those in the Gryffindor common room. These paintings roamed the streets in groups.

They were either chatting and drinking tea together, or watching two paintings depicting armies fighting. As they walked and looked around, suddenly the stairs beneath their feet moved. The eighth-floor staircase led them directly to the sixth-floor staircase leading to the Ravenclaw common room.

Because their Hogwarts castle level was too low, they had almost forgotten that the staircases at Hogwarts could move or disappear. When they reached the sixth floor, the staircase moved again and returned to its original position.

Upon reaching the auditorium on the first floor, they found the morning dining room nearly empty; the few people who did manage to finish their breakfast quickly and left. This left Beretta and Wendy with a strange feeling.
