Huh? There's a magic school here.

Chapter 101: End of the First Academic Year

Regardless, the first academic year is over.

For the next two days, the little wizards went into overdrive!

Under Professor Hodge's guidance, they even organized a Quidditch match. The two teams facing off were Gryffindor and Ravenclaw versus Slytherin and Hufflepuff.

Both the prefects and the younger wizards got a chance to play, and the vast majority of them performed admirably. This gave Mrs. Hodge hope that she could organize a Quidditch match next term.

In addition, the Wizard Chess Association also held a tournament over the past two days. It was spearheaded by Orlando Munness, a five-year Ravenclaw player. He fell madly in love with the sport the first time he played Wizard Chess.

In the first half of the year, he first visited Professor McGonagall to inquire about the requirements for establishing the Wizard Chess Association. Professor McGonagall told him that ten students were needed to sign to confirm their membership in the Wizard Chess Association, and he quickly collected the signatures, even having more than enough.

Then Orlando approached Principal Andres to request a venue, and Andres, who happened to be on a mission to increase happiness, conveniently granted him an empty room as a space for club activities. After the Wizard Chess Association was established, although they would organize activities regularly, the young wizards were usually busy with their own things, so it was difficult to gather everyone together.

Therefore, attendance has always been a problem, and everyone has never been able to compete together as a complete group. So, Orlando took advantage of his two-day break to issue a call to all members and organized this event.

In the end, Orlando lost 1-2 to a five-year Slytherin girl named Alina Garner. He only came in second place, while the first-place prize was a special edition wizard's chess set provided by Andreas. The chessboard's second color pattern was a Slytherin serpent.

Happy times always pass quickly, and the two days went by in a flash.

Early on the morning of June 5th, the bulletin boards of each house were covered with report cards. All the young wizards could check their exam results on the bulletin boards, and to everyone's delight, no one needed to retake the exam, meaning no one failed.

Therefore, everyone was in a good mood at the dinner that day.

Tonight's dinner also served as a farewell meal for the semester, so the food was especially plentiful. Starting tomorrow, everyone will gradually leave school and return home to enjoy their summer vacation, which will last for more than two months.

Just as the dinner was about to end, Andres stood up from his seat and tapped his wine glass with his spoon.

As the jingle sounded, all the students' attention turned to Andres.

"I've noticed that everyone has almost finished eating, so I have a few things to announce!"

"First up is the House Cup. Here are the scores for each house. First up is Gryffindor, whose total score is 423. Congratulations!"

The young wizards in the entire hall applauded.

"Then comes the Hufflepuffs, their total score is 430! Congratulations."

Another round of applause rang out in the auditorium.

"Then comes Slytherin, and their total score is five hundred! Congratulations."

The applause in the auditorium subsided considerably as everyone awaited Ravenclaw's scores, which would determine the winner of the House Cup.

"Finally, Ravenclaw, their total score is 503! Congratulations on winning this year's House Cup!"

A huge cheer erupted from the Ravenclaw table, while the Slytherins next door sighed with disappointment. They were just a few points away from winning the House Cup; of course they were disappointed.

"Ahem, ahem. Everyone, quiet down!"

Andres gestured with his hands to quiet everyone down.

"Then I think our castle decorations need some changes!"

Andreas then waved his wand, and all the flags in Hogwarts Castle changed from the Hogwarts crest to blue eagle banners. The ubiquitous Ravenclaw crests once again caused Ravenclaw House to erupt in cheers.

"Quiet! Now that the Academy Cup is over, our school year is also over. I am very satisfied with everyone's performance throughout the year. I hope that you will continue to study diligently after returning home during the summer vacation. But remember, you must not reveal yourselves when practicing magic."

I don't want you all to cause a huge uproar in the Muggle world during the summer vacation. While we're not afraid of trouble, it's unwise to deliberately create trouble.

You can stay at Hogwarts for the next two weeks. However, if you want to stay at Hogwarts for the entire summer, you will need your guardian's permission!

As for the start of the next semester, I suggest you come to school earlier, because there will be some new changes at Hogwarts.

Finally, I wish you all a wonderful summer vacation!

After Andres announced the end of the banquet, the excited young wizards were led back to their respective common rooms by their prefects.

Back in the principal's office, Andres opened the system. Sure enough, a notification message appeared, congratulating the host on completing main quest (five).

"Congratulations, host, you have received a reward. Your character level and Hogwarts Castle level have both increased by one. Would you like to use the system reward now?"

"Is there even a question?" Andres immediately raised his host character's level to level five. As a white light flashed around him, he felt his strength advance another step. If judged by the levels in the Harry Potter world, he would probably be considered an elite Auror.

At this point, Andres was superior to ordinary Aurors and most ordinary wizards in terms of magical power. While most people were probably at level five in most subjects, Andres was a level higher in magical power, making his magical output much stronger. At the same time, Andres's understanding of these subjects had also improved, saving him a significant amount of time in acquiring knowledge.

After experiencing the thrill of his increased strength, Andres then looked at the details of Hogwarts Castle Level 5.

System information shows that when Hogwarts Castle is upgraded to level five, the number of students it can accommodate doubles.

The system information indicates that if Hogwarts Castle is upgraded to level five, the castle's space will continue to expand to accommodate the increase in the number of students, and small gifts will also be included.

In addition, just like the Forbidden Forest you get when you upgrade your castle to level four, you get a village when you upgrade to level five. Yes, you read that right, you get a village for free!

This Hogsmeade village, which I remember quite well!

The system information indicates that, considering the increasing number of students at Hogwarts, providing many of the necessary supplies from Hogwarts or Andreas would become a burden. Therefore, the system is offering the host Hogsmeade Village as a reward for upgrading the castle.

Andres was overjoyed after reading this information, but what was with the little gift? And what was going on with Hogsmeade Village?
