Lin Yu and the mysterious man were closely followed by a ferocious-looking monster. The two of them and the monster sped along at breakneck speed, not daring to catch their breath even for a moment.

The moment they stepped out of the temple, they were met with an utterly desolate wilderness. Weeds grew rampant, like wild demons dancing wildly; the fierce winds were equally relentless, howling and sweeping across the land as if to devour everything in their path.

"This place is eerily sinister; we must find a populated area as soon as possible!" Lin Yu said anxiously while cautiously observing his surroundings.

The mysterious man nodded slightly in agreement, saying, "That's absolutely right. However, we must be extra careful of our surroundings during this time to avoid any further unforeseen events." With that, he tightened his grip on his weapon and quickened his pace as he ran forward.

Time passed by, and the sky gradually darkened. The already somewhat eerie environment was now shrouded in darkness, making it even more chilling.
