"I have no interest in talking to you about how to be a good young master." Yu Yuetong's lips curled into a contemptuous smile as she looked directly into his eyes. Her challenging gaze was like a burning flame, instantly igniting the tense atmosphere.

However, at this sensitive moment, their phones rang simultaneously, shattering the atmosphere that was about to break through. Yu Yuetong looked at Qin Yu, both of them puzzled and bewildered, already guessing that it was probably another dark secret from the Qin family.

She suddenly felt a sense of alarm; this family storm seemed far from over.

Under Old Master Qin's furious gaze, Yu Yuetong's heart pounded, almost unable to contain herself. Since transmigrating to this world full of schemes, she had never encountered such a domineering old man, which made her even hesitate about the marriage she had been forced into. "Am I really going to endure everything he does here?"

Before she could think any further, Qin Yu's voice struck her heart like a heavy stone: "Stop struggling in vain. We have more important things to consider." His tone was cold, as if he could see right through her inner turmoil.

"Hmph, is obediently following orders and letting your Qin family boss you around?" Yu Yuetong retorted, her anger surging instantly. She took a deep breath, her displeasure turning into a roar: "In matters of the heart, I'm not the docile slave you imagine!"

Qin Yu was taken aback, seemingly surprised by her sudden courage. He raised an eyebrow slightly, a playful smile playing on his lips: "I'd like to see just how much trouble you can stir up."

The atmosphere between them instantly became tense, thick with the smell of gunpowder about to explode. Yu Yuetong stared at him fiercely, her heart pounding. She cursed inwardly, knowing she wanted to rebel, yet she was always suffocated by the glitz and glamour of life in a wealthy family.

"Alright, it's settled then. Now I'll teach you how to be the young mistress of the Qin family." The slight smile on Qin Yu's lips carried a hint of provocation. His eyes flickered, as if scrutinizing Yu Yuetong's every move.

"What are you thinking about? Hurry up and follow me!" Qin Yu said, then walked straight out, leaving the last trace of awkwardness. Yu Yuetong froze for a few seconds, then gritted her teeth and rushed out; the game had already begun.

In front of the old man, Qin Yu feigned kindness, embracing Yu Yuetong intimately like an ordinary married couple. Yu Yuetong chuckled inwardly; she had never experienced such a scene at home. As time went on, she noticed that Qin Yu seemed to value his "new wife's" behavior more and more, and the eager light in his eyes intrigued her.

However, this warm atmosphere did not last long. Just as Yu Yuetong and Qin Yu exchanged silent glances, the curtain at the door was suddenly lifted, and Ji Momo walked in with an air of nine parts arrogance and one part contempt.

"Oh, look at this arrogant newcomer." Ji Momo's gaze swept over the two of them, and she let out a sneer without any restraint, as if she had seen some amusing performance. "I never expected that my cousin would condescend to be paired with such a pampered young lady."

"You have a problem with that?" Yu Yuetong was not to be outdone and was ready to fight.

Ji Momo's lips curled into a smile, her previously lazy demeanor instantly transforming into a blazing flame: "Opinion? I won't respect anyone just because you work so hard. But... he's getting old, it seems he can only choose you."

Qin Yu's expression changed slightly, seemingly feeling endless dissatisfaction with Ji Momo's words, but he still managed to restrain himself, suppressing his emotions, and pulled Yu Yuetong back a step, sparks flying between him and Ji Momo.

"How amusing." Ji Momo's clear voice carried a hint of disdain. "You two can continue playing. I'll just stand here and witness the 'happiness' of this marriage."

Yu Yuetong felt immense pressure, but it also ignited a fighting spirit within her. She secretly vowed never to allow such contemptuous attitudes to affect her! "You should be more concerned with your role, not with everyone here," Yu Yuetong retorted defiantly.

As the atmosphere grew increasingly tense and an awkward silence began to spread, it was as if two leopards were staring at each other, ready to tear each other apart at any moment. A sense of unease welled up in Yu Yuetong's heart; she knew that today's contest was only the beginning.

“I’m not the kind of person who keeps her word.” Ji Momo smiled, her eyes holding a deep meaning. At that moment, Yu Yuetong felt a chill run down her spine, foreseeing just how intense the upcoming intertwined struggles would be.

"Since you are our guest, why not try the next interaction?" Qin Yu interjected, his provocation clear.

"Oh, that sounds good. Too bad, I don't want to embarrass myself." Ji Momo smiled contemptuously, looking at Yu Yuetong with a hint of ill intent in her eyes.

The air was so heavy it was suffocating, a complex mix of emotions swirling within it, threatening to erupt at any moment. In that instant, it felt as if the entire world had distorted.

Yu Yuetong had no idea how the situation would develop, and this contest seemed poised to take an unexpected turn...

Yu Yuetong stared directly at Ji Momo, her anger burning, yet she forced herself to remain calm, wanting to gain the upper hand in this confrontation. Ji Momo's mockery seemed omnipresent, the air thick with her contempt. Yu Yuetong gritted her teeth, thinking, "Does she think I'm easy to bully?"

"Are you saying I'm not good enough for Qin Yu?" Yu Yuetong raised her chin and asked coldly, her tone revealing a fierce edge.

"Don't flatter yourself. My cousin's eyes are only drawn to noble women, not second-rate trash like you." Ji Momo smiled contemptuously, her eyes flashing with disdain.

"At least I would rather die than be like you, forever hiding in the shadow of the Ji family." Yu Yuetong retorted without backing down, instantly making the atmosphere tense, as if even the air itself was being swallowed up by her anger.

Qin Yu's expression changed, and he seemed to be getting impatient. He wiped his forehead and said in a low voice, "Enough, Ji Momo." His cold tone revealed a hint of weariness, as if he was helpless against this lowly argument. Yu Yuetong's heart skipped a beat. Although she didn't know what Qin Yu was thinking at that moment, she did feel an unexpected sense of support.

"What, you're starting to protect this insignificant little woman?" Ji Momo raised an eyebrow, a mocking smile playing on her lips, a dark glint in her eyes.

“I don’t want to argue with you about this,” Qin Yu turned around, his gaze cold and sharp as he looked directly at Ji Momo. “If you continue to speak rudely, I don’t have time to play with you.”
