Wenfei brought Li Weishi into Bocheng. He first found an inn to stay in, and then went to a clinic to ask a doctor to treat Li Weishi's arrow wound.

Li Wei had been unconscious since entering the inn. After the doctor took her pulse and wrote a prescription, Wen Fei immediately went to a nearby pharmacy to get the medicine. He then borrowed the inn's kitchen and a clay pot to brew the medicine and quickly brought it to Li Wei's bedside.

The shopkeeper hurried to the counter and presented the registration list to the leading official.

The leading official took the list and looked at it carefully. After reading just one page, he pointed at the list and said to the innkeeper, "You only care about recording the men and women, not their origins?"

"Sir! I've remembered this place perfectly all these years!" the innkeeper said.

“If that’s the case, we’ll do it ourselves,” the leading official said.

"Sir! What are you doing?" the innkeeper asked.

"Don't miss a single room! Investigate!" the leading official said.

The soldiers rushed up to the second floor and kept banging on the door. Wenfei could see all of this clearly through the crack in the window.

"Oh no! Northern Dynasty soldiers are going to search the inn!" Wen Fei exclaimed.

"Are they coming for us?" Li Wei asked.

"Who knows! We'll see how things go," Wenfei said.

Soon, there was a knock on Wenfei's door, and Wenfei calmly opened the door.

Two Northern Dynasty soldiers stood at the door, scrutinized Wen Fei, and asked, "Where are you from? What brings you to Bocheng?"

"Sir, we come from Yancheng to do some seafood business in Bocheng," Wenfei said.

A soldier, holding a roster, peered into the room and said, "It says there are two people on it, but where's the other one?"

"Let her out!" the soldier said.

"I was so scared I broke out in a cold sweat in bed," Li Wei said.

"Where are we going next?" Li Wei asked.

"Yancheng!" Wen Fei said thoughtfully.

Wenjie and Liang Feiyan discovered the Northern Dynasty army training in the back mountains of Yancheng. After returning to Sang Ziqi's courtyard, Wenjie's face was full of worry. The thing he was afraid of was about to happen. He was resistant to war, after all, war could only bring harm to the country and the people, which was something he did not want to see.
