Chapter 327 Internal Pressure Increasing and Difficult to Relieve

The Beastmaster's words were like a pebble thrown into a calm lake, creating ripples. Whispers began to circulate among the surrounding Beastmasters, and cracks appeared in their previously united front. I felt the gazes around me—some suspicious, some confused, some even hostile. My heart sank, as if plunging into a cold abyss.

"Disagreement? I think Nong Yu has been blinded by them!" Beast Tamer Nai retorted without hesitation, pointing at Beast Tamer Pu. "We have no idea who they are! We know nothing about their purpose! Nong Yu, how can you trust them so easily? Where does that leave the safety of the Beast Taming world?"

I took a deep breath, trying to remain calm. "Beastmaster, I know your concerns, but please believe me, I'm not blindly trusting them. I've been in contact with them for a long time; I understand their strength and have felt their sincerity..."

“Sincerity?” The Beastmaster sneered. “If they were truly sincere, why wouldn’t they reveal their identities and purposes? Nong Yu, you’re too naive! Do you really think you understand them?”

I was speechless for a moment; the Beastmaster's words pierced my heart like a sharp knife. I couldn't be entirely sure of their intentions, but I trusted my intuition, I trusted the Beastmaster, and I believed that cooperating with them was the right choice.

Just then, a familiar voice rang out: "I believe in Nong Yu." I turned around and saw my childhood friend, Beast Tamer Geng. He walked to my side and stood firmly beside me. "We all know what kind of person Nong Yu is. He would never do anything to harm the Beast Taming world."

Immediately afterward, several more beast tamers stepped forward. They were all my friends, and they all chose to believe in me. "We believe in Nong Yu too!" Their voices, though not loud, flowed like a warm current through my heart, dispelling the chill within.

Su Yao held my hand tightly, her eyes firm yet gentle, giving me boundless strength. "I believe in you," she whispered. These simple three words soothed my anxious heart more than a thousand words could.

I looked at them gratefully, my heart filled with warmth and strength. I knew I wasn't fighting alone; I had friends and a loved one who would support me.

The Beastmaster watched all this with great interest, a meaningful smile playing on his lips. He seemed to be enjoying the situation, as if everything was under his control. He slowly broke the brief silence: "In that case, let's vote. Those who support continuing our cooperation, stand on the left; those who oppose, stand on the right."

As soon as he finished speaking, the beast tamers began to move, some to the left, some to the right. I watched them nervously, my heart filled with unease. I felt as if the future of the beast taming world was swaying with their choices.

My gaze fell on the young man. He stood at the edge of the crowd, hesitant, seemingly unsure which side to stand on. I smiled slightly at him and gave him an encouraging look. He took a deep breath, as if making a decision, and stepped forward…

“Wait,” the Uranium strategist suddenly spoke, his voice not loud, but carrying an undeniable authority, “I have a few more words to say…” The Uranium strategist slowly stepped forward, his deep eyes sweeping over the crowd as if he could see through everyone’s thoughts. “Gentlemen,” his voice was deep and powerful, “I know you all have doubts, but that’s not a bad thing. Caution is necessary, and suspicion is reasonable. But please remember, we are now facing a common enemy. Infighting will only lead to our self-destruction.”

His words struck like a thunderbolt, exploding in everyone's ears. Some who had been heading to the right hesitated, their steps halting as if they were reconsidering their choice.

However, the Beastmaster was unconvinced. "Easy for you to say!" he retorted loudly. "Who knows if you're allies with that enemy? Nong Yu, can you say you fully understand them? Can you guarantee they won't harm us?"

His words reignited the anger of the opposition, who echoed his sentiments and even began to launch personal attacks against me.

"Nong Yu, you've been fooled by them!"

"You have betrayed the Beast Taming Realm!"

"You're a traitor!"

The profanities came crashing down on me like a tidal wave, almost drowning me. My heart sank to the bottom, and a sense of helplessness washed over me.

Just then, Su Yao stepped in front of me, like a lioness protecting her cubs, her eyes filled with anger and protectiveness. "Enough!" she shouted sharply, "What right do you have to say such things about Nong Yu? Have you forgotten how much he has sacrificed for the Beast Taming World? He risked his life to fight the enemy, and what did you do in return? Now, you actually doubt him and criticize him? Have you all lost your conscience?"

Su Yao's imposing presence frightened even the opposition, and their voices gradually faded until only a few scattered curses remained.

As I watched Su Yao's retreating figure, my heart was filled with gratitude and emotion. I knew that she had always been silently supporting and protecting me.

I took a deep breath, trying to stay calm. "I know you all still have doubts about the mysterious allies," I said slowly, "but please give me some time, and I will prove that my choice is correct. I will show you that cooperating with them is the only way out for the Beast Taming world."

My words didn't completely convince the opposition, but they at least quieted them down. The vote continued, and ultimately, those who supported cooperating with the mysterious ally gained a slight majority, but the opposition's numbers remained significant.

I know in my heart that this is only a temporary victory. If I cannot prove that my choice is correct soon, the internal conflicts in the Beast Taming World will erupt again, perhaps even more intensely than they are now.

I looked at the Beastmaster, who still wore that meaningful smile, as if everything was under his control. A sudden unease rose in my heart; I felt that things were not as simple as I had imagined.

I must act quickly, I must uncover the true nature of my mysterious ally, and I must prove that my choice was correct.

I took a deep breath and said to Su Yao, "I have to go to their camp."

A hint of worry flashed in Su Yao's eyes, but she didn't stop me. She just held my hand tightly and said, "Be careful."

I nodded and turned to walk towards the Beastmaster. "Take me to your camp," I said.

The Beastmaster smiled slightly and made a "please" gesture.

I followed him, step by step, into that unknown territory, my heart filled with trepidation and unease. I felt an invisible pressure bearing down on me… “I hope I haven’t made a mistake,” I murmured to myself, my voice trembling slightly.
