Beast Taming Star Journey

Chapter 324 Preparing Strategies to Embark on a New Campaign

The young man's voice interrupted my thoughts. I followed his finger and saw another huge transport truck slowly driving into the ally's temporary camp. This was the third one to arrive today, each loaded with supplies. I couldn't help but marvel at the unfathomable strength of this ally.

“Yes, a lot of stuff.” I replied perfunctorily to the young man, but my mind was in turmoil. The support promised by the Beastmaster was far from the scale I had actually seen, forcing me to reassess this ally’s true intentions.

Su Yao walked to my side, followed my gaze to the transport truck, and frowned slightly: "Nong Yu, don't you think... it's too much?"

I nodded and said in a low voice, "Indeed, their strength is far greater than we anticipated. Whether this is a good thing or a bad thing is still hard to say."

"Perhaps they just want to end this war as soon as possible?" Su Yao guessed, but the uncertainty in her tone revealed her inner doubts.

"I hope so." I sighed and turned to the boy, saying, "Boy, you play by yourself for a while. Su Yao and I have something to discuss."

The thorium boy nodded obediently and ran off in a flash to continue exploring the camp that was full of novelty for him.

Su Yao and I walked deeper into the camp, to the area where our allies stored their supplies. I wanted to examine these supplies closely, hoping to find some clues.

The camp was bustling with people, all of them beast tamers and staff from our allies. They were busy but organized, seemingly indifferent to us outsiders. I noticed that the auras emanating from these beast tamers were all extremely powerful, and among them were some experts whose abilities I couldn't quite fathom.

After passing through layers of guards, we finally arrived at the core area where supplies were stored. It was piled high with all sorts of supplies, from common weapons and equipment to rare medicinal herbs. I carefully examined these supplies, trying to find something unusual.

Suddenly, my gaze was drawn to several inconspicuous boxes in the corner. These boxes were different from the others; they had no markings on them and were covered with a special fabric, making them appear quite mysterious.

A thought struck me, and I walked to the box, lifting the fabric. The box was filled with all sorts of strange and unusual items, emanating faint energy fluctuations. I picked one up and examined it closely, discovering it was a beast-taming tool I'd never seen before, covered in intricate runes, seemingly containing some kind of powerful energy.

"What is this?" Su Yao also came over and asked curiously.

I shook my head, indicating that I didn't know either. But I had a vague feeling that these items were extraordinary and might have a huge impact on our battle plan.

Just then, a figure approached from a distance. I looked up and saw it was Uranium Strategist. He had a hint of tension on his face as he quickly walked up to us.

"What are you two doing here?" the uranium strategist asked, his tone slightly hurried.

I pointed to the props in the box and asked, "What are these?"

The uranium strategist's expression changed slightly, his eyes flickered, and he said, "They're just some ordinary supplies, nothing special."

I sneered inwardly; this uranium strategist was clearly lying. The energy fluctuations emanating from these items were far beyond what ordinary supplies could possess.

I was about to press further when the uranium strategist preemptively said, "You two should go and rest first. Leave the rest to us." His tone carried an undeniable firmness. I glanced at him, then at the boxes…

I looked directly into the eyes of the Uranium Strategist, my tone calm yet carrying an undeniable firmness: "Uranium Strategist, we are now allies and should be completely honest with each other. You'd better tell me the truth about what these tools are."

The strategist's expression turned grim. He opened his mouth as if to say something, but ultimately said nothing. He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself, and said, "Nong Yu, there are some things you'd better not know. These items are related to the core secrets of our allies, and I cannot disclose them."

"Top secret?" I sneered. "If it's top secret, why is it kept here? Besides, the energy fluctuations of these items are so strong; they're clearly not ordinary supplies. Do you think you can hide it from me?"

The strategist's face darkened further, and his tone hardened: "Nong Yu, I hope you won't push your luck. I know you're very powerful, but this is our territory, and it's not your place to point fingers here."

I met his gaze without flinching, and the atmosphere instantly became tense. Seeing the situation turning sour, Su Yao quickly stepped forward, grabbed my arm, and shook her head, signaling me not to act rashly.

I took a deep breath, suppressed my anger, and turned to Su Yao, saying, "Let's go."

After saying that, I pulled Su Yao and turned to leave, ignoring the uranium strategist.

After leaving the area where the supplies were stored, Su Yao excitedly threw herself into my arms, her full breasts pressed tightly against me, making my heart flutter. "Nong Yu, you're amazing! You actually discovered those mysterious items!" she whispered in my ear, her tone full of admiration and excitement.

I held Su Yao in my arms, feeling the softness and warmth of her body, but my heart was filled with doubt. What exactly were these mysterious props? Why was the uranium strategist deliberately hiding them? These questions lingered in my mind.

“Those props… feel very unusual.” Su Yao looked up at me and said seriously, “I feel that they contain enormous energy, and may even change the course of the battle.”

I nodded in agreement. I also sensed that these props were extraordinary, and I was filled with anticipation for their amazing effects in actual combat, but I also had some lingering concerns.

Over the next few days, we continued to prepare for the upcoming battle. I told the Beastmaster about the mysterious items I had discovered, but he just smiled faintly and didn't say much, only telling me to wait patiently and that everything would proceed according to plan.

The great battle finally began. Together with Su Yao, Pu, the Beastmaster, and other allied Beastmasters, I launched a fierce attack on the enemy's position. From the very start, I noticed something amiss. Some of my allies' actions didn't align with our previously agreed-upon plan. They seemed to have other intentions…

I looked at the Beastmaster, only to find him looking at me with a meaningful smile on his lips... "Looks like the show is about to begin," he said softly.
