The dark figure moved with incredible speed, disappearing in a flash. Had I not been constantly on my guard, I would have almost missed it. I held my breath and silently followed. The figure meandered through the streets, finally arriving at an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city. I recognized the figure as the Golden Beastmaster, suspected of being a traitor.

The warehouse door was tightly shut, so I carefully went around to the back of the warehouse and found a small window that wasn't closed properly. Through the crack, I saw that the warehouse was brightly lit, and the Golden Beastmaster was talking to another person. The other person was wearing a black cloak, so I couldn't see their face.

"How's it going?" The cloaked figure asked in a low, sinister voice.

“Everything went smoothly,” the Beastmaster replied respectfully. “As you instructed, I have spread the false information, and Nong Yu must be in a real mess right now.”

The cloaked figure chuckled softly: "Very good, Nong Yu is too much of a nuisance, we must get rid of him as soon as possible. This plan is of utmost importance, we cannot afford any mistakes."

I was shocked. It turned out that the Golden Beastmaster wasn't a traitor, but a frame-up! The real mastermind was this mysterious cloaked figure! I had to tell Su Yao this as soon as possible and find out the true identity of this cloaked figure.

Just as I was about to leave, I suddenly heard a strange noise coming from inside the warehouse. I quickly looked through the crack in the window again and saw several men in black escorting Yi Beastmaster in. Yi Beastmaster was pale and trembling all over, clearly having been severely tortured.

"Iridium Beastmaster, do you have anything else to say?" the cloaked man asked coldly.

"I...I've told you everything I know..." The Beastmaster's voice was weak, tinged with despair.

Following the silver boy's directions, we found a secret auction house beneath the trading market. The atmosphere there was eerie and sinister; everyone coming and going was in a hurry, acting furtively. Su Yao and I exchanged a glance, both seeing a hint of unease in each other's eyes.

We paid a price to finally obtain the recent transaction records. I carefully examined the thick ledger, searching page by page for anything suspicious. Su Yao, on the other hand, kept an eye on our surroundings to prevent anyone from secretly monitoring us.
