The cold, runic stones in my hands stung my palms, yet also brought a strange sense of peace. The space behind the hidden door was cramped, echoing the guardian's heavy breathing like a death knell. I swung the stones, barely managing to parry its relentless barrage of attacks; each collision left my arm numb. Damn it, this guardian's power far exceeded my expectations!
