Beast Taming Star Journey

The world beyond the stone gate was not the exotic creatures or dangerous place I had imagined, but a vast, empty square.

In the center of the square, a huge cube, emitting a pale blue light, floats.

The surface of the cube is engraved with countless intricate runes, like stars twinkling in the night sky, mysterious and profound.

A strange energy fluctuation permeated the air, and waves of oppression washed over me, making it difficult for me to breathe.

The barium instructor appeared at the edge of the plaza at some point, holding a staff carved with intricate patterns. His voice was loud and authoritative: "Welcome to the Arena of Wisdom. This is not a test of your combat skills, but of your wisdom and insight."

He pointed to the floating cube, “That’s your test—the puzzle array. Solve it, and you’ll pass the test.”

Su Yao gripped my hand tightly and whispered, "Looks like we'll have to use our brains this time."

I took a deep breath and stepped towards the cube. As I approached, the runes on the cube began to slowly rotate, emitting an even more dazzling light.

Just then, the cube emitted a buzzing sound, and the pale blue light gradually dissipated.

A portal leading to the next level appeared in the center of the square.

The barium instructor's voice rang out again: "Congratulations, you have passed the test of wisdom. Next, you will face an even more severe challenge—the Trial of Strength."

I took a deep breath and turned to look at Su Yao, whose eyes were sparkling with excitement.

"Let's go, let's face the new challenge together!" I nodded, took her hand, and we walked together toward the portal.
