Berserk: The Prophet

Despite the excruciating pain, Saimile Buddha darted through the clouds, knowing it had to find a safe place as soon as possible to buy itself and Benny some time to catch their breath.

Flying beasts circled above the forest, the riders' eyes sharp as they meticulously searched every corner. Saimile Buddha stared intently at the sky, his body tense, ready to fight again at any moment.

Suddenly, a flying beast seemed to sense something and swooped down in their direction. Samantabhadra roared softly, preparing to fight with all his might to protect Benedictine.

Just as the flying beast was about to reach them, Saimile Buddha suddenly leaped out from behind the tree and unleashed a dragon's breath from its gaping maw. Startled, the flying beast hastily dodged to the side, but the dragon's breath still scorched the fur on one side of its body.

Immediately afterward, a massive dragon claw crushed the rider and his mount to pieces. Seeing this, the other rider ceased fighting and distanced himself in the sky to report back to Benny and the dragon's movements.

Saimile Buddha grinned at the sky, and the only place on this island where people could hide was the forest in these high mountains.

Even without that scout, it was only a matter of time before Edvarut and his men found their way here.

The attendant who managed to escape returned to the palace and told Edwalut and the diviner everything that had happened.

Upon hearing this, Edvarut slammed his fist on the city wall in anger: "That wretched dragon, even though it's badly injured, it's still so troublesome!"

The diviner narrowed his eyes, pondered for a moment, and then said, "Your Majesty, do not be anxious. Although that forest is large, we can surround it and then gradually narrow the search area. They will have no way to escape."

Edvard adopted the fortune teller's advice and immediately delivered an impassioned speech claiming that the dragon was the real culprit behind the serial murders and had even kidnapped the princess to kill her.
