NBA's King of Talking

Jia Fei was in a great mood and very excited. In his excitement, he wanted to try a move he had never made before. He cut in from the side with the ball, jumped on one foot, and easily completed a 360° spin with both hands behind his back!

This dunk also caught the attention of several other players. Kemba Walker was also wondering why Jia Fei seemed to be jumping even higher than before. Was it just his imagination?

Lamb, Jia Fei's roommate, felt the same way and thought Jia Fei was acting strangely today.

"Come on, everyone's warmed up enough, let's split into groups!" Kemba Walker, as the team's star player and also a senior player, naturally invited everyone to form groups.

The six people were quickly divided into groups: Jia Fei, Lamb, and Art Mayok were in one group, wearing black training suits; Kemba Walker, Shabazz Napier, and Alex Oriak were in another group, wearing white training suits.

Although it was just a simple three-on-three sparring session, Jia Fei felt as if his body was on fire. He wanted to see just how strong this body, which incorporated the physical talents of Allen Iverson, could be.

There was no coin toss or anything to determine which side would attack first. It was very simple; Kemba Walker simply told Jia Fei and his team to attack first.

Lamb had the ball, faced the newly crowned MOP Kemba Walker, changed direction, stopped abruptly, and launched a jump shot. The ball drew a beautiful arc in the air—but... it missed!

Oriak grabbed the rebound and passed it to Napier outside the three-point line.

Napier, holding the ball and facing Jia Fei, attempted a three-threat breakthrough, but was blocked by the latter's long arms and then changed direction to drive inside.

After defending against Napier, Jia Fei felt that his feet were moving very fast. The 185cm Napier did not seem that fast to him, which made him extremely happy.

Napier was also a little surprised. He had always been faster than Jia Fei, and the two had been teammates for a long time. But his familiar teammate was obviously faster than usual today. For a moment, he wondered if something was wrong with his body and he couldn't pick up his speed.

Napier was covered and the ball was dead, so he had no choice but to pass the ball to Kemba Walker on the left wing.

Kemba Walker received the ball and drove straight to the basket, making two consecutive crossovers to get past Lamb. He then faced Art Mayok, who was guarding two defenders, and passed the ball to Oriak on the other side. Oriak caught the ball and immediately dunked with both hands!

That's how it is in three-on-three situations. Once you get beaten in a one-on-one situation, it's hard to expect anyone to help you defend.

Kemba Walker and his team continued their attack. He dribbled with one hand, teasing Lamb, whom he had just beaten, "Jeremy, you're too slow today. What's wrong? Didn't you sleep well last night?"

Lamb was still in a "post-coital" state; his legs were indeed a little weak, but it was definitely not due to lack of sleep. He pressed forward, but Kemba Walker's ball control was superb, with a low center of gravity and high speed, making him impossible to stop.

Kemba Walker continued to drive to the basket, attempting to repeat his previous move by passing to Oriak under the basket.

Oriac received the ball and prepared to score again, but when he tried to dunk, he was shocked to find that the ball in his hand was blocked in an instant!

It was Jia Fei who came to provide backup!

Jia Fei rushed to the basket with lightning speed and completed a help defense block!

"Well done, Ja!" Art Mayork applauded in praise!

Lamb retrieved the ball, returned to the three-point line, and faced Kemba Walker.

Art Mayork came up to set a screen, and Lamb used the screen to pull up and shoot a jump shot—but it was too short!

But—Jia Fei used his height and wingspan advantage to box out Napier under the basket and grab the offensive rebound! Without dribbling, he powered up and banked the ball in!

A draw!

Jia Fei passed the ball to Lamb near the center circle and continued the attack. That's how it is in three-on-three. Once there are too many guards on the court, mismatches are easy to occur. Guards are fine on the offensive end, and even when facing forwards, they often have a speed advantage. But on the defensive end, they are really helpless. They are at a disadvantage in rebounding and rim protection. In one-on-one defense, they are easily overpowered by mismatches.

Lamb serves and passes to Jia Fei!

Jia Fei dribbled the ball beyond the three-point line, facing Napier's close defense.

Napier had just suffered a setback. He knew he was shorter and lighter than Jia Fei, so he compensated with agility and speed to prevent the opponent from getting to the basket.

Art Mayork came up to set a screen, and Napier and Oriak chose to switch on defense immediately.

Art Mayork was in a huge mismatch, trying to get the ball and exploit the gaps between his teammates. Meanwhile, Napier was positioned in front of him, preventing Jia Fei from easily passing the ball to him.

Jia Fei made a feint to pass the ball. On the other side, Oriak raised his center of gravity and reached out to block, but who knew that he would suddenly crouch down and accelerate, passing the opponent at lightning speed and directly entering from the middle!

The basket was empty. Napier and Art Mayok were still fighting for position under the basket. Even if he didn't fight for position, given his height, it would be almost the same as not having any support at all!

Jia Fei jumped off one foot from just inside the free-throw line, and amidst the astonished gazes of the other five players, he completed a powerful one-handed dunk!

"Duang—" The sound was crisp and clear, and it even echoed in the huge stadium!

Oriac, who had been passed over, was also stunned. How could Jia Fei be so fast?

Art Mayork, who had initially had some reservations, stopped talking. He let his performance speak for itself, so it was perfectly reasonable not to pass to him!

The happiest person was Jia Fei himself. When he swiftly bypassed Oriak and finally completed the dunk, he felt as if he were taking off while in the air. This feeling was wonderful; it was a feeling he had never experienced before.

He is now full of confidence in his physical abilities. He feels that he can keep up with anyone and he can get past anyone, yes, anyone!

But Jia Fei's screen was fake; before the screen was fully completed, he quickly cut inside!

Even with Napier's speed, he was a little too slow, and by the time he tried to catch up, he had already lost his position.

Jia Fei pointed into the air!

Lamb understood immediately and tossed the ball towards the basket!

"Don't worry, I'm here!" Oriak shouted, jumping up with both feet like a blocker in a volleyball game, stretching out his arms to block.

Jia Fei received the ball in mid-air and, like a setter in a volleyball match, tossed it to the other side of the basket!

On the other side, teammate Art Mayork leaped high, caught the ball with both hands, and slammed it into the basket!

A brilliant assist, an explosive dunk!

Art Mayork roared after dunking, and the rim shook violently!

"Well done, Jia, that was fantastic!" Art Mayor excitedly gave Jia Fei a high five.
