EROS [Zerg]

The face shield cracked in the middle, and under the force of gravity, Eros's already poor-quality helmet broke in two, with the upper part falling to the ground along the crack.

Eros felt the scene before him become brighter, and the bloody mess in the corner turned a deeper red.

"Why do this?"

"Hahaha, still asking such stupid questions even now? Did you just get home from school? You little bug."

“We can negotiate. We can all live. How could you so carelessly take their lives?” Eros asked a question that even he thought was idiotic, but he was unwilling to leave it unasked.

"Idiot." Nika rolled her eyes at Eros. "Why do you think we became space pirates?"

"Of course they committed crimes and couldn't stay in the Empire, so they became space pirates."

"When we return to your empire, how could you possibly treat us leniently? The Zerg Empire government will punish us for all our crimes, and in that case, only you will survive!"

“We have a rescue ship; who’s going to wait to die with you?” Filipe made a face at Eros.

"Originally, we captured them intending to take the spaceship back with us, but now we can't take the spaceship with us, and our spaceship can't hold that many prisoners, so they have no choice but to die! Otherwise, do you think we would have let you go?"

"But we'll take you away. You should be glad you're valuable."

Upon hearing Philippe's words, Eros turned pale and glanced back at the main control panel, then looked down at Auditorium, who was lying on the ground clutching his chest and breathing heavily.

Perhaps because Eros’s gaze was undisguised, when Audit looked up, he saw that Eros’s eyes were not as bright as when he first saw them, but rather a deep black.

“I’m not afraid.” Audit forced a smile. “It’s just a little sad that I’ll never see my little bug again.”

Eros choked, unable to utter the apology that was on the tip of his tongue.

He really, really doesn't want to give up.

He has no female father and doesn't want the world to have another insect offspring without a female father.

"I really envy him."

Eros muttered something under his breath, took a step forward to block Audie with his body, raised his head to stare directly at the menacing space pirate opposite him, and raised the gun in his claws to fire.

Nika had anticipated Eros's move. The instant Eros raised his arm, a metal rhombus blade flew from his fingertips and precisely pierced Eros's elbow.

The laser gun in Eros's claw fell to the ground, and a sharp pain shot through his right arm. But he remained calm and, almost as his arm was pierced, he flipped the already loaded mechanical gun out of his sleeve and fired two shots at Nika's forehead.

Eros's actions were so unexpected that no one expected him to have a pistol hidden inside. To the astonishment of Philippe and Nifilori, he shot and killed Nika, who was standing behind the two insects.

No insect believed that Eros still had the ability to resist.

Before the smug look on Nika's face had faded, a bullet struck him squarely between the eyebrows, and blood flowed from the bullet hole, quickly staining his entire face red.

Eros cherished the bullets in his pistol; this old-fashioned mechanical gun was far inferior to the laser guns commonly used in the military.

Each pistol can hold only seven bullets.

After killing the three space pirates, Eros looked warily at Philippe, who had shielded Neferoli with his body.

He blocked the bullet that had just been fired at Felice with his body, and the sound of metal clashing made Eros realize that the female insect's body was mostly composed of metal organs.

The bullets from the mechanical pistol couldn't penetrate his body at all.

Eros tried to pull the trigger again, only to find that the magazine was empty.

Meanwhile, Philippe had already drawn two half-meter-long steel knives from his waist and charged towards him.

Eros thought that perhaps the next moment, he would cut off his own head.

Felipe watched as Eros stood there as if he had given up struggling, preparing to cut off that beautiful head and gouge out those eyes that resembled a purple nebula.

As Eros watched the gleaming blades hurtling towards him, he used his black, segmented insect legs to forcefully block the two steel blades amidst Audit's exclamation.

Sparks flew as the insect's legs rubbed violently against the steel knife. The edge of the steel knife was chipped, and the insect's legs were cut in half, exposing the transparent, soft flesh.

"Back off!" Neferoli exclaimed upon seeing this, and quickly stepped forward, drawing his laser sword to protect Emporio behind him.

Before them stood a gigantic "monster" baring its fangs and brandishing its sharp, menacing maw.

Neferoli believed that in his decades of navigating the universe, he had seen several female insects in their fully transformed state, but none of them had ever been as bizarre and unconventional as Eros before him.

Its body is covered in rare white-gold scales, each scale possessing an icy luster that shimmers even under industrial lighting. Two transparent tentacles flank its head, and its deep purple compound eyes reflect a mysterious, terrifying yet beautiful light like a thousand mirrors.

The two forelegs and six hind legs are dark black segmented insect legs. Where the wings should be on the back, there is now only a thin, brittle membrane.

Its slender, six-meter-long body, compared to the fully transformed size of a normal female insect, looks like a deformed, underdeveloped defective product.

Audit watched helplessly as Eros was forced into a complete insect-like state by the space pirates in front of him, his expression revealing his surprise and fear.

Not every insect can enter a fully transformed state at will. Female insects can control themselves to enter a semi-transformed state, but they will only enter a fully transformed state under great stimulation.

A female insect in its fully transformed state will have no control over its mental energy and will be devoid of any rationality, and may die suddenly due to a mental energy outburst.

The peak of Zerg female deaths only occurred after the war ended.

Female insects that cannot regain their sanity will be disposed of by the military in seven days if they do not die due to the mental outburst.

Having entered a fully insectized state, Eros seemed to have lost his mind. With several steel knives stuck in his back, he first bit off one of Philippe's mechanical claws, and then stuffed the captured space pirate into his mouth full of sharp teeth.

He was hungry, he was so hungry.

The mechanical arm, along with the space pirate's flesh, was corroded into liquid by the highly corrosive digestive fluid.

Seeing this, Neferoli knew that he and Felice could not confront each other directly here. Taking advantage of Eros's chewing of "food", he took Felice and ran out of the main control room.

Once they return to the airship where their subordinates are waiting, and have enough weapons and insect personnel, they can then take down the female insect!

Audie watched helplessly as Eros, now completely transformed into an insect, strung the fallen space pirates together with his forelegs and stuffed them into his fang-filled mouthparts.

The chewing sound, a mixture of various strange noises, made the hairs on Auditer's entire body stand on end.

Auditor also wanted to run. He staggered to the door of the main control room and looked at the familiar, narrow corridor, feeling lost.

Where else could he go besides this ship?
