Where can we hide?

Eros, who can enter the power system control room without an access card, is someone Audit believes he can't escape no matter where he runs if he really wants to eat him.

With that thought in mind, Auditor turned and walked back into the main control room.

Having lost all reason, Eros still followed his primal impulses, relentlessly chewing on the remains of space pirates scattered across the land.

Audit stared at the enormous, deformed insect before him. Pale golden fur covered its scales, and its slender legs could barely support the weight of its massive body.

A buzzing, thumping sound emanated from beneath the membrane on my back, as if something was about to burst through it.

Suddenly, Eros stopped chewing, as if noticing the gaze behind him, and turned his huge head to look at Audit in front of him.

“You…” Audit trembled uncontrollably as he was stared at by Eros, who was in a completely insectized state.

The enormous insect remained motionless for a long time, and Auditer felt that the chances of him regaining his senses were slim.

Audit suddenly opened his eyes wide. He looked around and found that there were no other insects present. Only he and Eros were still alive.

But... how could a female insect in a fully insectized state still have the rationality to communicate with herself?

Suppressing his shock, Audit tentatively reached out his claws towards Eros.

Audit felt as if time had slowed down, each second feeling incredibly long. Suddenly, he felt the weight in his palm lighten considerably. Looking up, he saw a flash of purple light on Eros's forehead, and the insect transformed into human form, falling heavily to the ground.

Audit's breath hitched as he watched Eros fall to the ground and tentatively checked if he was still alive. Only after feeling the other's steady breathing did he breathe a sigh of relief.

"Thank you, Insect God," Audit exclaimed, clutching his chest.

Eros's clothes had just been torn apart when he was fully transformed into an insect, and Audit could clearly see the hideous, scattered wounds on his body.

Audit, who lived in a peaceful family, did not understand why Eros had so many strange scars on his body, each one etched in a very insulting place.

"Heavens, my insect god, what have you been through?!" Audit clasped his hands together and prayed for two seconds before remembering to put his white coat on Eros.

Few of the corpses nearby had intact clothes. Audit picked out a few relatively clean-looking pieces of cloth from the pile of dead insects and used them to bandage Eros's right arm, which had been severed by the space pirates.

"Those space pirates said they'll be back, we need to find a way to escape quickly."

Unable to wake Eros, Auditer had no choice but to carry him off the ground.

Auditor carried Eros to the spaceship's medical bay and, using his first aid knowledge, injected Eros with a sedative.

He carried Eros on his back, determined to find a safe place and wait for the imperial army to rescue him.

As Audit reached the corner of the corridor, he heard a series of clanging and banging sounds in the distance, and he immediately realized that the space pirates had returned.

The thought of space pirates made Audie's whole body ache.

He quickly carried Eros back to the medical bay and they climbed together under the medical bed covered with a large sheet.

The footsteps outside grew closer, and Auditor's heart pounded in the cramped space as he stared intently out through the gap between the sheets and the floor.

Suddenly the door to the medical pod was pushed open, and Auditor saw a pair of black boots.

He held his breath, the insect stiff as a stone.

Black boots stopped beside the medical bed where they were hiding, and Audit watched as the black boot tips lifted the white sheets.

The sheets covering their bodies were slowly lifted, and a gun was inserted through them.

Auditorium was startled. He glanced at the still unconscious Eros, took a deep breath, and shouted, "Don't shoot! I...I'll come out!"

The insect outside stuck its gun under the medical bed and shouted, "Come out!"

Audit quickly crawled out from under the bed and realized that the insects were not the same group of space pirates from before.

“You…” Audit breathed a sigh of relief, looking at the Imperial Army insignia on the insect’s clothes as if he had seen a savior, and shouted excitedly, “Great, you’re an insect from the Imperial Army?”

"We are saved!"

"You? You have companions?"

"Yes, yes, it seems only the two of us insects are still alive."

The female soldier watched as the blood-soaked Audit dragged an unconscious female insect from under the medical bed and reported the situation to the captain via walkie-talkie.

After the report, the female soldier's gaze swept over Eros's body, and she frowned slightly: "Where are his clothes?"

Audit told the female soldier what had just happened, and when he mentioned Eros's complete insect transformation, the female soldier looked at Eros in disbelief: "...Eros?!"

Kirkland had met Eros once on a transport ship carrying interns. When he heard that there was a female insect that looked very much like the former queen of his family patriarch on the ship, he even went to see her with Orton.

When Kirkland and his group walked over, they were warmly invited by the interns who were having a lively conversation. When the students from the star class introduced Eros, they jokingly called him "little classmate".

Eros was the first female insect to become a battlefield intern after only a year and a half of enrollment.
