The socially awkward villain's furry superpower

Chapter 181 The Campus Mischievous Kid

“Stay here,” the woman said, opening the door.

She led them into a slightly larger office with a large desk in the center and several chairs opposite it. There was also a small sofa next to the door. On the far wall were several bookshelves filled with books, trophies, and a few framed diplomas.

"How long are you going to stay?" Trinity asked. "I want to go home."

The female teacher snorted. "You can stay here as long as you want until the principal arrives. I can't believe what you've done in the art classroom. Your parents certainly won't be proud of you if they find out."

Teddy was about to tell the woman to stop using her parents' pride as an excuse, but then Athena kicked her shin from the side. Athena looked down at the ground, giving a pitiful look. "We're so sorry," Athena said ingratiatingly, "We'll be good, I promise. Just... please don't tell Daddy, okay?"

The female teacher snorted again, then pointed to the chairs. "I'll be back in a bit," she said, and closed the door.

The door clicked shut, and Teddy and Trinity both turned to Athena. "Daddy?" Teddy asked.

“Do we have a father?” Trinity responded, sounding shocked.

Athena snorted and shook her head. "I just said what she wanted to hear. She's gone, should we slip away now?" There was a window overlooking the school's backyard, where there was a large sandpit, some climbing frames, slides, and a large area to run around in.

“I think it’s okay,” Teddy said, “but we’re already here, aren’t we? This is the school boss’s office or something.”

Athena narrowed her eyes. “That’s a good idea,” she said. “Trinity, lock the door.”

“I’ll lock it,” Teddy said. “Trinity, open the window so we have a way out.”

“Yes, madam bear!” Trinity said with a double bow. She ran to the window and began fiddling with the latch.

Meanwhile, Teddy examined the door. It opened inwards, so the best way to close it permanently was to block its path. She stared at the sofa beside the door. Shrugging, Teddy went over and started pulling the sofa, but it was much heavier than it looked.

So she did something obvious: she turned into a bear.

"Hey!" Trinity shouted, as Teddy's rear end bumped into her and sent her tumbling to the side. "Watch out!"

Teddy growled at her, then gripped the sofa with his clawed front paws. Once the claws dug into the soft leather, the grip became much easier. She groaned laboriously, tilted the sofa to its side, and then pushed it towards the door. Now, anyone wanting to come in would have to push the entire sofa aside.

“Oh, wow,” Athena said from across the desk.

"What's wrong?" Teddy growled in a low voice. She paced around the room, bumping chairs and knocking things off shelves. But when she got closer, she saw the screen.

“The password is the school’s name,” Athena said. “This principal knows nothing about security.”

Athena squinted at the screen and then started opening several programs.

"The window's open!" Trinity said, slamming the window open. Her other clone dragged a chair over and pushed it out the window, so there would be a place to step outside. They then placed another chair inside as a footstool.

“I found the school registration information,” Athena said, “and the grades.”

“That’s great!” Teddy said. “They’ve registered all our names as students.”

"What? Why?" Athena asked.

"That way we can graduate, get our diplomas and stuff. Then we can find jobs. That's what those capitalists are thinking."

“But we’ve never been to school,” Trinity said. “We’ve only been here today. Is that enough?”

“It’s okay. We can have diplomas on paper. We’re not stupid enough to actually go to school,” Teddy said.

“Okay,” Athena said, “I need to take some time to figure out how all this works.”

“So that means we have time, right?” Trinity asked.

“I think so,” Teddy replied.

Trinity grinned and began rummaging through the trash can. She started with the one under the principal's desk, turning it upside down and emptying it. She picked out the best items and stuffed them into her bag, which was printed with dollar signs.

Teddy doesn't like rummaging through things, but Trinity seemed to be having a lot of fun, so she decided to help by pulling out all the drawers in the principal's desk.

However, these drawers were designed for weaker humans, and Teddy simply ripped the drawer off the table.

Trinity giggled, jumped onto the things scattered on the ground, and stuffed a bunch of pens, pencils, and school supplies into her bag.

"Hey, should we use our real names or hero names?" Athena asked.

“I think we should use our real names,” Teddy said. “Do we need to fill in our last name?”

“Yes,” Athena said. “Okay, I’ve filled it out.”

“What about the rest of us?” Teddy asked. She leaned closer to the screen, staring until Athena grabbed her nose and pulled her mouth open. The screen was just a bunch of boring white text anyway.

“I’ll fill one out at a time,” Athena said. “Does Trinity have to fill it out three times?”

“No, it’s just me,” Trinity said. “I can use it myself.”

“Oh, that makes sense,” Athena nodded.

Teddy noticed something on the table, something that looked like a microphone, pointing directly at the chair Athena was sitting in, with a large button on the bottom. "What's that?" she asked, pointing at the thing with her paw.

“It looks like the school's public address system,” Athena said. “You can talk to the whole school… No, wait, don’t press it.” She warned.

"Why don't you press it?" Teddy asked.

"Well, first you need to think about what to say. Second, I need to fill all of this out. If you press it, everyone will know we're here."

“And they can recognize your voice!” Trinity said. She was trying to stuff a potted fern into her bag. The plant’s branches stretched out in all directions, but Trinity didn’t seem to care.

“I’ll say it in bear language,” Teddy said, but she still waited a while. It felt like Athena had been typing for a long time.

"Almost done," Athena said.

That was enough for Teddy. She pressed the button on the public address system with her paw, then grinned as a sharp sound rang out throughout the school. She cleared her throat; the sound could be heard echoing between the walls.

Now all she needs to do is think about what to say.

"Comrades! I am Tai—I am the Bear of Communism, and I have come here to tell you the glory of the proletariat!"

"Yay!" Trinity cheered from the side, while continuing to steal things.

"Right now, I may not fully understand what communism actually means, but I believe in it. I know it means we should all share, we should be our own bosses, and no one can take our things away. Only we can take other people's things!"

“I don’t think that makes sense,” Athena said.

Teddy yelled at her to shut up. "Comrades! Let's rise up together! Let's tear down those fences that keep us out of the park! Let's fight back against those who say we can't get enough to eat! We'll never have to live under the oppression of bedtime and those stupid 'Do Not Feed' signs again!"

A loud crash came from the other side of the door, and the door shook violently. "Hey! Hey, don't touch the loudspeaker!" someone shouted through the door.

"Oh dear. Sorry, comrades, we have to go!"

Teddy didn't know how to turn off the radio, so she threw it against the wall, and it got stuck in the drywall.

“Alright, let’s go!” Trinity said. She ran to the window, one of her clones jumped out, then stood up, while another clone handed her her large bag through the window. She helped herself carry the bag through the window, just as Teddy and Athena also walked towards the window.

The door was ajar, but the weight of the sofa could temporarily block it.

Athena climbed out of the window using a chair, and then it was Teddy's turn. She was tall enough in her bear form to jump straight out the window. But then her belly got stuck in the window, which was too small.

Teddy growled, transformed back into human form, and rolled away to the other side. She quickly stood up. The others had already crossed the yard and were running towards an open gate in the fence, so Teddy hurried after them. Just then, someone finally burst through the gate, and the sofa crashed to the ground with a loud thud.

“I love school!” Trinity exclaimed as she ran along the sidewalk. “We should come here more often!”

“We’ll see,” Athena said, struggling to keep up. “But we need to get home first, before Sienna finds out we’re gone.”

“No, she won’t find out!” Teddy said. “We did it very discreetly!”
