Chapter 180 The "Little Troublemakers" on Campus

The school they chose for their "inspection" was called Bosolai Elementary School, which was incredibly boring.

However, they didn't choose this school because it was boring.

The main reason is that it is only a few blocks away from the overpass where they live.

“Oh my god, this place looks awful,” Teddy said, looking at the school.

Bosolai Primary School is an old building constructed of large gray stones, with a huge archway above the front door.

The main building is square and three stories high, located behind two old trees in a designated area of the small parking lot in front.

The side wings are much newer, looking as if they were added a hundred years after the main building was completed.

“So, shall we just go in?” Trinity asked.

“I think so,” Teddy said. “It shouldn’t be that difficult, right?”

“It’s Saturday,” Athena said. “The school might be closed.”

Just then, someone opened the front door, and a mother came out of the building with her two children.

“Well, looks like the door’s still open,” Athena said. “If we can just go in, we’ll have to act like we’re supposed to be here.”

“Simple,” Trinity said, pulling out a large canvas bag with a dollar sign printed on the side. The bag bulged open with a “whoosh.” “Let’s go!”

Teddy grinned and was about to step onto the road when Athena reached out and grabbed her—and the nearest Trinity—by the back of the neck.

"Hey! What did the boss say about what to watch out for when crossing the street?" Athena asked.

A large truck rumbled past. It wasn't going very fast, but the truck itself was quite massive.

“I can dodge it,” Teddy said, though even she herself thought it sounded like a grumble.

Athena simply gave her a look. Athena was very skilled at conveying meaning with her eyes.

“If you die, your older sister will cry, you know that.”

Teddy pouted, puffing out his cheeks, avoiding Athena's gaze.

"Okay, maybe, I think so."

“I’m always ‘dying,’ but she never cried,” Trinity said. Her smile faded.

"Wait, does this mean she doesn't love me that much?"

"Don't be silly, your older sister loves you too, even if you're a little less 'worth'."

"Wow!" Trinity cheered.

They held hands, looked around to make sure the next car coming was not going fast, and then rushed across the road.

The woman driving honked her horn at them and slammed on the brakes, but she didn't hit either of them, so everything was fine and they made it safely to the other side of the road.

Next, it's time to officially enter the school.

As they approached, Teddy tilted his head back.

This building... is just an old stone structure, but it has a unique aura. An ancient sense of authority lingers over it.

This reminded her a little of prison, even though she had never been to one.

Trinity pushed open the door and they found themselves in a large hall that stretched to the left and right.

There's an office up ahead, and a woman who looks like a secretary is busy doing something on her computer.

She looked up at them, frowning. "Hello?" she said.

“We should be here,” Athena said confidently, and then walked to the right.

Teddy nodded and followed behind her, then reached out and grabbed Trinity, who was about to walk to the large display stand full of brochures.

There was a staircase on the right, so they went up the stairs and left the lobby area.

They stopped on the second floor. "What do we do now?" Teddy asked.

There are doors everywhere leading to classrooms, but all the classrooms are empty.

For some reason, Teddy originally thought she would see nothing but brainwashed, boring kids inside, but she guessed that even those kids would have gone home for the weekend.

“I didn’t know, this was your idea,” Athena said.

“Uh,” Teddy replied, “I don’t know either. Maybe we should look for signs of capitalism?”

“What would that be like?” Trinity asked.

“A fat guy in a suit, with a monocle and a top hat,” Teddy said confidently. “Maybe he’s also smoking a cigar and carrying a big bag full of money and gold.”

“I don’t think you can find that kind of person in school,” Athena said.

Teddy shrugged. "You wouldn't know."

While they were talking, Trinity had already wandered off, but she suddenly gasped, catching Teddy's attention.

"There's an art classroom here!" she said, and rushed into the classroom.

Teddy and Athena naturally followed them inside.

“Look at these colors!” Trinity exclaimed, bouncing around the classroom.

Teddy stopped and stared at a wall covered with large sheets of drawing paper, on which various things were drawn. None of them were very well done.

Trinity found a few paintbrushes, smelled them, and then shoved them into her bag with a "whoosh".

The classroom was filled with the smells of paint, clay, and pungent cleaning products.

Teddy wasn't sure if he liked the smell, but Trinity seemed to be having a lot of fun.

“I want to paint a mural,” Trinity announced.

“Really?” Teddy asked. “That sounds silly.”

“I want to draw a picture of the boss kicking the hero’s butt, with us all there, and you turning into a bear eating the hero. Then the kids will come in, see this picture, and know how awesome we are,” Trinity said.

Teddy changed his mind. "Okay, that sounds amazing."

Athena smiled, closed the door, and locked it. "Alright, but we need to hurry. Where do you plan to draw it?"

Trinity blinked. "It's a mural, of course it's painted on the wall." She pointed to the wall at the front of the classroom. Teddy thought the blackboard would be a good canvas.

One Trinity pushed a chair toward the blackboard, while another ran around, grabbing several tubes of paint and a plastic tray to mix the paint.

“Teddy, can you help me?” she asked.

Teddy shrugged. "Sure, but I want super big teeth."

“Okay!” Trinity replied.

Together they moved a few more chairs to the front of the classroom so Trinity would have something to stand on to reach the top of the blackboard. Then Teddy carried a plastic tray, and Trinity squeezed some new paint onto it.

Meanwhile, Athena stood by the door, keeping an eye out for any adults, security guards, or heroes, just in case.

Trinity worked quickly. She held a large brush in her hand and painted large blocks of various colors on the blackboard.

At first, Teddy had no idea what she was drawing, but she guessed that the big brown block of color must be a bear.

A few minutes later, Trinity finished the large shape, then went back to add some color to the first layer of paint, this time outlining smaller details, and adding shadows and brighter blocks of color.

The painting was completed quickly.

The painting depicts the leader, dressed in full regalia, glaring at someone while her foot is planted on the face of a hero.

Athena was behind them, strangling someone, and Maple Leaf was also there, holding a huge toaster machine gun.

Of course, there are a few Trinitys here and there in the painting, and on the right side of the painting there is a big bear with its mouth open, full of bloody pieces of heroes.

"Great!" Teddy said, watching the image gradually take shape.

The paintings started to look really good, but that's normal, since Trinity is good at things like drawing.

Just then, there was a loud knock on the door. "Is anyone home?" a voice came from outside.

The doorknob started to shake.

"Hurry!" Teddy said, "Finish the last few details."

Trinity nodded repeatedly and moved even faster.

A sound like a key being inserted into a lock came from the doorway, and the three of them froze. Then Athena turned and whispered to them, "Be natural!"

The door opened, and they saw an elderly woman standing there.

She blinked, looking at the three of them with a puzzled expression. Then she noticed the mural.

“What exactly is going on?” she asked.

"Oh dear," Athena said, "Isn't this...outside? I'm sorry."

"The paint is still wet... What are you three doing here?"

“We’re lost,” Athena said.

"Did you draw this?"

“No,” Trinity said. Her body was splattered with paint spots and patches, making her reason rather unconvincing.

The woman shook her head. "I can't believe it. All three of you, come with me, right now!"

She said sternly, "We're going to the principal's office. I swear, once your parents find out about this..."

Teddy grinned. She'd miscalculated; they didn't have parents!
