Li Hua awoke from his deep sleep, feeling as if he had struggled out of an abyss.

His eyes slowly opened, and the blinding sunlight shone directly on him, forcing him to close them again.

He tried to raise his hand to block out the light, but found his arm unusually heavy and his whole body ached inexplicably.

He took a deep breath and tried to sit up, but his body felt like it had been hit by a heavy hammer, and every muscle was protesting.

He had to slow down his movements, slowly supporting his body with his hands, and gradually sit up straight.

During this process, some vague sounds began to echo in his mind, like distant calls or whispers in a dream.

After a while, he confirmed that apart from the soreness all over his body and the pain in his head, he had not found any serious injuries, and then he breathed a sigh of relief.

"Thank goodness, I'm so glad that I didn't suffer any accidents. I should really be thankful."

He muttered to himself, a surge of gratitude for surviving such a calamity welling up inside him.

However, as he calmed down, he began to notice his surroundings.

Only then did I realize that I had been lying on an empty street, all around me quiet, with no pedestrians or vehicles passing by.

The buildings on both sides of the street looked somewhat old, as if they had been forgotten by time.

He was confused, not understanding why he was lying there. According to his memory, he should have been on the train or taken to the hospital after the accident.

Even in the worst-case scenario, he shouldn't be standing on such a desolate roadside.

"How is this going?"

Just then, a flood of memories that didn't belong to him suddenly rushed into his mind.
