All-around teacher at the magic academy
Chapter 111 Popular Courses
What are you going to talk about today?
Lian sat down next to Leon with curiosity, a playful smile on his lips, and asked jokingly.
A mischievous glint flashed in Leon's eyes, and a smile played on his lips as he answered mysteriously, "It's a secret."
Lian frowned slightly, put on a pitiful look, and continued to pester, "You should have told me in advance so I could be mentally prepared and not be shocked by your magic."
Leon chuckled softly, his eyes filled with affection. He shook his head and teased, "How come you're more curious than the students? That's not like a teacher."
Lian pouted and said defiantly, "I'm a student too, and I'm listening to your lectures too."
She nodded vigorously, as if that would prove how right she was.
Leon chuckled inwardly at her earnest expression, finding her utterly unappealing. He finally relented, smiling as he revealed, "I'm going to talk about fusion magic."
"Fusion magic?" Lian frowned slightly, his eyes filled with doubt.
“Yes, it’s a fusion of two different types of magic,” Leon explained patiently.
"You can do that? It feels amazing." Lian's tone revealed a hint of disbelief; her curiosity had been completely piqued.
“Sure, do you want to see? I can demonstrate!” Leon raised an eyebrow, a confident smile on his lips, seemingly quite confident in the magic he was about to demonstrate.
Leon smiled but didn't say anything, just quietly watching Leon.
Looking at her silence, Leon suddenly felt uneasy. He couldn't help but wonder, "What if she doesn't want to watch? Was I being too presumptuous?"
"Could you teach me? I want to learn." Lian suddenly broke the silence, her voice filled with sincerity and longing.
Leon was taken aback by her answer. He paused for a moment, then smiled happily and said, "Of course."
The two sat down on the grass under the tree and began to talk.
Leon explained the principles and techniques of fusion magic while demonstrating it to Lian and giving her guidance.
Lean's gaze never left Leon; she looked at his focused and serious expression, her eyes filled with a gentle smile.
"Why are you looking at me like that? Why aren't you watching me cast the spell?" Leon felt her gaze and broke the silence somewhat embarrassed.
"It's alright, it's alright, I'm watching." Lean responded with a light laugh, a hint of amusement in her eyes, as if she was enjoying watching Leon's embarrassment.
Leon shook his head helplessly. Although he felt a little uncomfortable, he could only ignore Lian's gaze. He took a deep breath to calm his racing heart and then continued to explain the essentials of fusion magic in detail.
...
"Oh no, it's over, it's over, we're going to be too late!" Lian suddenly jumped up from the grass, his face showing anxiety.
"What's wrong?" Leon was startled by her actions and asked with concern, seeing her anxious expression.
"I'm going to be late for class," Lian said as he began packing his things, preparing to leave quickly.
"What classes are you taking?" Leon frowned in confusion.
“Your class!” Lean answered matter-of-factly, seemingly puzzled by Leon’s confusion.
"Isn't there still a while?" Leon frowned slightly, somewhat puzzled by Lian's urgency.
"You don't understand, I need to get there early to find a seat, otherwise I might not be able to find a place to sit if I arrive late," Lian explained, her pace quickening as she seemed impatient.
"Do I have that many students attending my class?" Leon was somewhat surprised; he hadn't expected his course to be so popular.
“A lot, an exceptionally large number.” Lian waved his hands exaggeratedly, as if describing a huge group.
"I'm not talking to you anymore, I have to go right now." Lian said, not giving Leon a chance to ask any more questions, and hurried towards the classroom. Her long hair fluttered in the air, her steps light and quick.
Halfway through the run, Lian didn't forget to turn back and wave to Leon. Her smile was especially bright in the sunlight, like a warm spring breeze that made people feel happy.
Leon stood there, watching Lean's figure gradually disappear into the distance, the smile on his lips never fading.
.....
The classroom was unusually lively, and there were hardly any empty seats left.
In this classroom where classes had just ended, as soon as the teacher finished speaking and announced the end of get out of class, a large group of students poured in from outside.
Like a tide, they rushed to find any available spot, hoping to claim a place.
None of the students who were listening to the teacher's lecture chose to leave. They either bent down to organize their notes or chatted with each other, seemingly full of anticipation for the next class.
The teacher, looking at the scene before him, was both confused and surprised. He glanced around at the students eagerly searching for seats, wondering to himself: What's going on? Which teacher is teaching the next class? Is he that popular?
He had never seen his students stay so eagerly after his class ended; this was unprecedented.
In fact, he didn't know that a large part of the reason why the students who took his class chose it was because the next class was Professor Leon's class.
These students had planned ahead; they knew that Leon's classes were very popular and that seats in the classroom were always in high demand.
Therefore, they chose this teacher's class so that they wouldn't have to leave after the class and could directly occupy a good seat, avoiding the embarrassment and unseemly of fighting with other students for seats.
The students who were already in the classroom couldn't help but smile with pride as they watched their classmates pour in from outside. They exchanged smug glances, secretly rejoicing: "Luckily, I was smart enough to start class a period early, so I didn't have to fight with others for seats."
In fact, the rapid spread and popularity of Leon's lessons is largely due to Leon's outstanding performance on the field.
Whether it's summoning magic, elemental magic, or even close combat, this teacher displays extraordinary skill and composure in the arena. Every appearance of his attracts the attention of countless students, making him an idol in their hearts.
As students, many of them dreamed of one day being able to maintain elegance and composure in the face of battle, just like Leon.
As the classroom seats gradually filled, the atmosphere grew increasingly lively. The students' heartbeats seemed to quicken as class approached, eagerly anticipating the appearance of that figure.
