Chapter 33 Junior Sister

Argreed arrived at the secluded courtyard where Presidian lived. As he approached, he smelled a strange odor. Argreed immediately sensed something was wrong and quickly pushed open the door. What he saw was a strange man wrapped up tightly, brewing a very evil-looking potion in a cauldron.

Seeing this, Agreed immediately leaped up and kicked the strange woman away. At the same time, she used the third-tier magic "Water Ball" to destroy the potion she was brewing. Then, before the strange woman could stand up, Agreed quickly pounced on her and subdued her, shouting, "Behave yourself! You've got some nerve, daring to break into the residence of a forbidden spellcaster! And you even dare to concoct harmful potions here!"

Presidian, who was taking a nap, immediately sprang from his bed upon hearing the commotion, shouting as he ran, "Disciple, stop! This is your junior sister!!"

But he was too late. When Presidian walked out of the house and into the courtyard, he saw Agreed binding what he thought was a thief in a very standard way. Agreed had even gagged her with rope, and at the same time, Agreed was sitting on her buttocks as a cushion.

Arged naturally heard Presidian's shout, so he froze instantly, pointing incredulously at the strange man beneath him and asking, "Junior sister?!"

Presidian delivered a flying kick, sending Agreed flying as he shouted, "I know you're not getting out of the way, are you trying to be a fool again?!"

Agreed rubbed his face, which was covered in shoe prints from being kicked, and asked incredulously, "When did you take on your new apprentice? Why didn't you tell me? I've wronged an innocent person."

Prechter, furious, grabbed his wand and began whipping Agreed's backside while venting his pent-up anger: "All you do all day is lie in the library, just reading and reading! How am I supposed to talk to you? You've really grown up, hitting your junior sister after studying! You're living a pretty fulfilling life, aren't you? Today I'll teach you a lesson you won't forget!"

"Teacher, I was wrong, please, please stop hitting me, I was wrong..." Agreed begged for mercy as he ran away, being chased and beaten all over the yard by Presidian.

a quarter of an hour later

Argrede stood to the side, enduring the sharp pain in his buttocks, and offered tea to his junior sister, apologizing, "I'm sorry, junior sister, I was confused for a moment, please forgive me."

Agreed's junior sister took off her protective suit, revealing her true identity. She was the stunningly beautiful girl named Hepburn who had asked Agreed for directions to the books in the library.

At that very moment, Agreed felt utterly ashamed, as if she had instantly lost her right to choose a partner, her head bowed in dejection, thinking that she was doomed and that her image as an idiot in her eyes was now firmly established.

Hepburn, clutching her waist where Agreed had kicked her, said angrily, "Don't think this is the end of it! You ruined my potion! Not only do you have to compensate me for the damage, but you also have to help me finish that potion!"

Agreed quickly agreed, "Don't worry, I'll definitely help you. Not to mention making potions, I'll even let you test the potions if you forgive me."

Hearing this, Hepburn laughed, then said slyly, "You said it yourself, so don't go back on your word!"

Looking at Hepburn's teasing eyes, Agreed unconsciously swallowed. To be honest, he panicked. Could he take back what he just said?

……

"Ugh~" At this moment, Agreed was holding a wooden bucket and vomiting desperately. Just now, he had been used as a guinea pig to test drugs on Hepburn and had experienced all kinds of unbearable suffering. Now he was struggling to survive with the help of a stomach-washing potion.

Agreed finally understood: this wasn't a goddess, this was a witch.

After finally emptying his stomach completely, Agreed knew he couldn't continue like this, or he would die here sooner or later. So, with a sense of righteous indignation, he rushed back into the courtyard, walked to Hepburn's side, and snatched the potion formula from her hand.

Hepburn was startled by his sudden action, and after she came to her senses, she shouted, "What are you doing?! Give me back the formula!"

Agreed simply looked at the recipe and said, "If I let you keep messing around like this, I'll die here sooner or later. Let me see what you're trying to do first, and maybe I can help you."

Hepburn tried to snatch it while shouting, "I don't need your help. What's it to you? You're crazy, you've gone stupid from reading too much."

Argreed roared, "Bullshit! You're not the one testing the medicine!! If you can't make it, I'll drink myself to death... Soul-Shocking Wood, Shapeshifting Grass, Rootless Fruit... Are you making an invisibility potion? No, those herbs shouldn't be here... You're making a disguise potion!"

Seeing that Agreed had guessed her purpose in just a few words, Hepburn stopped her snatching action in surprise and asked in confusion, "How did you guess?"

Agreed laughed smugly, "I didn't read the books in the library for nothing. I can help you. There's a problem with the dosage of these medicines, and that's the key to your failure. The properties of these herbs are inherently conflicting. If you can't find that delicate balance in the dosage, you'll never be able to make this potion in your entire life."

Hepburn pursed her lips. She knew in her heart that what this cheap senior brother said was all true, but she was still resentful that he had kicked her without saying a word. So she stubbornly shouted, "Then I don't need your help. I will do it myself."

Upon hearing this, Agreed's stomach suddenly began to spasm and ache under the influence of his own mind. Resigned, he pleaded, "But I ruined your potion before, and I haven't repaid you for that yet. So please, let me help you out, okay?" (Thinking: Please, please, save my stomach too!)

Girls are, after all, concerned about their image, so Agreed's words naturally delighted Hepburn. She then said haughtily, "Then I'll let you help me. I'd like to see what this 'lucky madman,' whose reputation is spreading throughout the entire academy, is all about." As she spoke, Hepburn extended a hand, intending to shake it as a gesture of politeness to indicate her agreement.

Agreed then politely shook Hepburn's fingers while asking in bewilderment, "Lucky Madman? What kind of nickname is that?"

Hepburn shrugged and explained, "Isn't it lucky that a powerless outsider was taken in as a disciple by a master of forbidden spells and survived a beast tide? Isn't someone who lived in the library for a month and often talked to himself and acted strangely crazy a madman?"

Agreed immediately blushed and said, "So you went to the library that time to see what kind of weird senior I am?"

Hepburn said noncommittally, "That's part of the reason, but the main reason is that I went there to find information because I needed to prepare potions."
