"I said, just disarm!" Lockhart stood on the stage and shouted at the two men in horror.

Su Xingchen and Hermione had stopped long ago. In fact, Su Xingchen had already signaled to Hermione, and the two of them just bowed.

Draco was on one knee, and Harry had hit him with the Creaking Curse, and he was laughing. While Harry was hesitating whether to press his advantage, Draco, panting hard, pointed his wand at Harry's knee and said, laughing and panting, "Tarantella."

Harry immediately broke into an uncontrollable quickstep.

"Stop, stop," Lockhart screamed, his voice nearly breaking.

Su Xingchen was stunned.

Well...how should I put it, it was completely different from the angry sword-drawing Zhang she had imagined, and even a little funny. What was going on?

"Stop the curse immediately." Compared to Lockhart's screams, Snape's method was much more effective.

A puff of green smoke filled the air over the entire venue. Harry stopped dancing and Draco stopped laughing.

Neville and Justin were both lying on the floor, gasping for breath, while Ron was clutching a pale-faced Seamus and apologizing for his wand's mishap.

"Oh my God! Oh my God!" Lockhart jumped up and down in the crowd, checking the aftermath of the duel. "Stand up, Macmillan... Be careful, Miss Fawcett... Bute, pinch it harder, the bleeding will stop soon..."

Su Xingchen looked around. Except for Harry and Draco, most people were the same, either tragic or funny.

It's quite speechless.

"I think I'd better teach you how to stop unfriendly magic," Lockhart said, looking panicked as he stood in the middle of the hall.

"This is the most useful sentence he has said so far." Su Xingchen said to Hermione, and Hermione frowned in disapproval.

"Please volunteer a pair, Longbottom and Finch-Fletchley, what do you think?"

"That's a bad idea, Professor Lockhart," Snape interrupted Lockhart as he began. "Even the simplest spells Longbottom casts will cause damage. We'll have to pack the remains of Finch-Fletchley into a matchbox and take him to the hospital."

Neville's pink round face turned even redder because of Snape's words. Su Xingchen looked at Snape's somewhat hideous smile. No wonder he was always regarded as a bad guy by the protagonist. He really had the potential to be a villain.

"How are Malfoy and Potter?"

"Excellent." Lockhart gestured for Harry and Draco to walk to the center of the hall, and the students stepped back to make room for them.

"Okay, Harry." Lockhart walked over to Harry, "When Draco points his wand at you, you do this." He raised his wand and waved it left and right, looking like he was trying to do some complicated tricks, but accidentally dropped it on the ground.

Snape sneered coldly from the other side, and Lockhart quickly picked up his wand. "Oops, my wand looks a little overexcited."

Su Xingchen took back what she had just said. She had overestimated Lockhart.

Snape walked closer to Draco and whispered something in his ear.

Harry was a little nervous and looked up at Lockhart. "Professor, can you show me how to stop the spell again?"

However, Lockhart patted Harry's shoulder happily, "Just do what I did just now, go ahead Harry."

"What? Dropped your wand?"

Lockhart didn't even listen to what he said and pushed Harry forward.

"Are you scared?" Draco lowered his voice so low that only he could hear it.

"You're dreaming." Harry blurted out these words, unable to bear it any longer. The two of them quickly walked towards each other, turned around and prepared to duel.

"One—two—three—go!"

As soon as Lockhart finished shouting, Draco quickly raised his wand and shouted, "Ulong!"

Su Xingchen saw the tip of Draco's wand explode, and a long black snake sprang out from the explosion and landed heavily on the floor between Harry and Draco.

The black snake raised its head high and made a hissing sound with its tongue.

The students screamed and quickly retreated to make more space.

"Don't move, Potter." Snape said lazily. It was obvious that Harry was very happy to stand there and stare at the angry snake. "I'll take him away..."

"Let me do it." Lockhart shouted, raised his wand and waved it at the black snake while chanting a spell.

The black snake flew up more than ten feet high, and with a loud bang, it fell heavily to the ground.

This time, the black snake not only did not disappear, but was instead furious. It swam quickly to the nearest person, raised its head, bared its fangs, and prepared to attack.

The unlucky guy closest to him was Su Xingchen.

Ms. Rowling, you lied. Didn't you say that the person who was almost attacked was Justin Finch-Fletchley?

"Xingchen." Draco called out anxiously.

Harry walked up quickly and said something to the black snake that no one could understand. The black snake had been looking at Harry, but after he finished speaking, it suddenly turned its head and stared at Su Xingchen with its small green eyes.

Su Xingchen broke out in cold sweat. She was afraid of snakes, especially a snake that wanted to bite her.

I can't move, I can't move at all.

Harry said something to the black snake that no one could understand. Miraculously, the black snake collapsed and no longer made any attacking gestures, like a soft black water pipe.

Su Xingchen breathed a sigh of relief and at the same time grabbed Hermione's sleeve tightly.

Don't ask, the answer is her legs are weak.

Harry looked at Su Xingchen blankly. He didn't understand why he did this. He didn't even realize why he decided to do this.

It seemed like he didn't know what he had done.

Su Xingchen smiled at him weakly, his face a little pale because he was too scared.

"What the hell are you doing?" Justin Finch-Fletchley, who was next to Su Xingchen, shouted at Harry in an angry and horrified tone.

Without waiting for Harry to reply, he turned and stormed out of the Great Hall.

Su Xingchen breathed a sigh of relief. She was so focused on the duel that she didn't even notice that she was standing next to Justin. No wonder.

Snape stepped forward and waved his wand, and the snake disappeared in a puff of black smoke.

He was looking at Harry with a mixture of surprise and calculation that Harry disliked.

He felt someone tug at the back of his robes and turned to see Ron motioning to him. Then Harry realized that everyone around him seemed to be staring at him and whispering.

"Let's go." Ron whispered in his ear, "Let's go, let's go."

Ron led Harry out of the hall, and Hermione hurriedly followed them, holding Su Xingchen.

As they were about to leave, the students on both sides stepped aside, making a space larger than the space cleared for the duel, as if they were afraid of getting contaminated.

Harry had no idea what was going on. Ron and Hermione didn't give any explanation, but just dragged him and Su Xingchen all the way to the empty Gryffindor common room.

Ron pushed Harry down into an armchair. "You're a Parseltongue, why didn't you tell us?"

"What am I?" Harry asked confusedly.

"Parseltongue," said Ron. "You can talk to snakes!"

"I see." Harry thought for a moment. "I mean, this is the second time I've done that. There was once a time at the zoo where I accidentally let a boa constrictor free...it's a long story, but it told me it had never been to Brazil, and I unknowingly let it free. I didn't know I was a wizard at the time."

"A python tells you it's never been to Brazil?" Ron was stunned.

"What's wrong with that? I believe many people here can do it..."

When Su Xingchen saw Harry's serious look, she knew that this silly boy had no idea the seriousness of the matter.

"They can't do that," Ron sighed. "That's not a common skill, Harry. It's bad."

"What's so bad?" Harry said, feeling a little angry. "What's wrong with everyone? I told the snake not to attack Xingchen, and Justin yelled at me."

"Oh, is that what you said to the snake? Anything you said is possible. Justin was so scared because the tone of your voice seemed to be encouraging the snake to attack Xingchen. It was creepy."

"What do you mean? You were there, you should have heard it too..."

Seeing Harry getting emotional, Su Xingchen held his hand and said, "Don't worry, Harry, I know, I know you don't."

Harry tilted his head, "You know that, don't you?"

"Yes, I know. You helped me." Su Xingchen continued to comfort him, "But, Harry... we really don't understand what you said."

"That's Parseltongue," Ron continued, continuing Su Xingchen's words. "It's the language of snakes."

"I was speaking another language? I didn't even realize it. I mean...how could I possibly speak another language and not know it?"

Ron shook his head, both he and Hermione felt heavy-hearted.

Su Xingchen understood what was going on, but she couldn't say it. She could only imitate Ron and Hermione and look worried.

Harry really didn't understand what was so terrible about this.

"Harry," Hermione lowered her voice, "Salazar Slytherin was famous for his ability to talk to snakes. That's why the symbol of Slytherin House is a snake. Do you understand now?"

Harry's mouth opened in shock.

"Exactly," said Ron. "So now the whole school probably thinks you're his great-great-great-grandson or something..."

"But I'm not." Harry felt an unprecedented panic.

"You'll find it difficult to prove that," Hermione breathed. "He probably lived over a thousand years ago. From what we know so far, you're very likely his descendant."

"But I belong to Gryffindor. If I had Slytherin blood, the Sorting Hat wouldn't have sorted me here..."
