As soon as he finished speaking, Harry suddenly remembered that the Sorting Hat originally wanted to put him in Slytherin, and it was his strong request that brought him to Gryffindor.

He was suddenly speechless and fell into self-doubt.

It's over, the kid is autistic.

Su Xingchen quickly squatted down and looked at the thin boy sitting in the chair. "Harry, you are not Salazar Slytherin's great-great-great-grandson. You are completely different from him."

"Yeah." Seeing Su Xingchen's concerned black eyes, Harry nodded slowly, "I'm not."

But that night, Harry couldn't sleep.

Harry watched the snowflakes drifting past the castle windows through the gap in the bed curtains, his heart was confused.

He tried to speak in Parseltongue, but nothing came out of it. It seemed that he only knew what to do when faced with a snake.

The Dursleys always forbade him to ask anything about his magical family. Was he a descendant of Salazar Slytherin? After all, he knew nothing about his father's family, practically nothing at all.

Harry thought of Su Xingchen's determined eyes when he said that he couldn't be a descendant of Salazar Slytherin, and angrily hit the pillow a few times, "Yes, I'm not."

In any case, Harry decided to make it clear to Justin Finch-Fletchley in tomorrow's Herbology class that he was trying to stop the snake, not encourage it to attack.

The next morning the snow that had been falling the previous night turned into a violent blizzard.

As a result, the last Herbology class of this semester was cancelled by Professor Sprout. She had to put socks and a scarf on the mandrake, which was a job that required careful treatment, and Professor Sprout was not confident in handing it over to others.

Now, it is of vital importance that the mandrake grows quickly and that Mrs. Norris and Colin Creevey are saved.

Harry sat by the fire in the lounge, feeling very troubled.

Su Xingchen was in a daze, while Hermione and Ron were playing wizard chess while they were not in class.

"For heaven's sake, Harry," said Hermione, looking a little exasperated as Ron's bishop unhorsed and dragged her knight across the chessboard. "If you take this so seriously, go find Justin."

Su Xingchen, who was in a trance, heard Hermione's words and thought that it didn't matter whether he went or not, because everyone had already decided that Harry was the heir.

But she didn't know whether Harry would encounter other important plots at this time. She opened her mouth but didn't say anything in the end.

So, Harry stood up and walked out of the common room.

Thick, gray snowflakes danced in the sky, blocking every window of the castle. Hogwarts looked much darker today than during the day.

Harry had no idea where Justin was. He trembled as he passed by the classroom where class was in session and heard sporadic reports of what was happening inside.

Hufflepuff had no classes today like the rest of them, so he planned to try his luck in the library.

There was actually a group of Hufflepuff students sitting in the back row of the library.

But the content of their conversation was not pleasant at all. They discussed how to hide Justin and prevent him from getting hurt. They also said that Harry must be the Heir of Slytherin, otherwise he should have been blown to pieces when he met You-Know-Who as a baby.

Harry couldn't bear to listen any longer, so he cleared his throat and walked out from behind the bookshelf.

At the sight of him, every Hufflepuff was frightened into silence, and the face of one named Ernie, who had spoken the most, was completely pale.

"Hello, I'm looking for Justin Finch-Fletchley."

The Hufflepuff students all looked at Harry in horror, as if what they had just worried about was about to happen.

"What do you want with him?" Ernie asked shakily.

"I wanted to tell him what was going on with that snake in the Dueling Club."

Ernie's face was pale. "We were all there. We saw what happened."

"Didn't you notice that the snake retreated after I spoke to it?"

"I just saw it," Ernie said stubbornly, shaking all over. "You spoke in Parseltongue, urging the snake to attack Justin."

"I didn't goad the snake to attack him." Harry took a deep breath. "The snake didn't even touch him."

"Almost." Ernie added hastily, "If you want to take advantage of me, I'd like to tell you that you can trace my family back nine generations of wizards. My bloodline is pure, so..."

"I don't care what your bloodline is! Why would I attack Justin?" Harry's voice trembled with anger.

"Justin said he let it slip to you that his parents were Muggles."

"Then didn't you realize that the snake wanted to attack Xingchen at first? How could I let the snake attack my friend? Justin was just standing next to Xingchen!"

"Who can tell? Maybe it's just a cover-up," Ernie retorted quickly.

Harry felt like he was about to explode with anger. He turned abruptly and stormed out of the library.

These people! How could these people think like this?

Even if he really wanted to attack Justin Finch-Fletchley, he would not let Xingchen suffer any harm or threat.

Su Xingchen, Ron and Hermione were sitting in the Transfiguration classroom. The class was about to start, but Harry had not arrived yet.

Suddenly, Peeves rushed in and yelled, "Attack! Attack! No one, human or ghost, will be spared! Potter has killed the students and Sir Nicholas in the corridor. Everyone, run for your lives!"

"Stop it, Peeves," Professor McGonagall yelled, rushing down the corridor, and all the students in the classroom followed her.

Harry stood in panic in the middle of the corridor. At his feet was... Justin Finch-Fletchley. He was lying cold and stiff on the ground, a look of extreme terror frozen on his face, his eyes staring blankly at the ceiling.

Next to Justin was a humanoid figure, a nearly headless Nick. Half of his head was missing, and his face bore the same terrified expression as Justin's.

"Harry..." Su Xingchen was confused. Isn't it just Colin Creevey?

Harry looked up blankly, his face full of bewilderment.

"Caught him in the act!" Ernie shouted breathlessly, pointing at Harry, his face pale.

"That's enough, Macmillan!" Professor McGonagall hurriedly restored order and drove all the students into the classroom.

Justin was taken to the hospital by Professor Flitwick and Professor Sinistra of the Astronomy Department.

"Come with me, Potter."

"Professor," said Harry quickly, "I swear it wasn't me."

"That's not something I can do, Potter," Professor McGonagall replied briefly. They walked in silence, turned a corner, and Professor McGonagall stopped in front of a huge, hideous stone monster.

"Lemon ice cream."

This was obviously a command. After Professor McGonagall finished speaking, the huge stone monster seemed to suddenly come alive and jumped to the side. The wall behind it cracked into two halves, and behind the wall was a spiral staircase that was slowly moving upwards like an escalator.

Harry was worried about his impending fate, but he couldn't help but marvel at it.

As he and Professor McGonagall stepped onto the stairs, they heard the wall behind them close with a "boom".

The stairs spiraled higher and higher.

Just as Harry was feeling a little dizzy, he saw a shining oak door in front of him, with a brass knocker in the shape of a griffin on it.

This must be Dumbledore's office, Harry thought.

Professor McGonagall knocked on the door, and it opened quietly by itself. She told Harry to go in and wait, and then left.

Harry walked in.

Su Xingchen was waiting anxiously in the Gryffindor common room. She had no idea about Justin's situation. Now she really wanted to find out whether what happened today was pre-existing or was caused by her butterfly effect.

"That's strange. I've never seen Xingchen so nervous before." Ron whispered in Hermione's ear.

"Maybe I was too worried. You know, Harry was caught red-handed. This is a very serious matter."

Ron thought about it and nodded.

"Harry!" Su Xingchen hurried forward when he saw Harry coming back. "How are you?"

Harry told his friends what happened in Dumbledore's office, including seeing a phoenix reborn from the ashes, Hagrid rushing into the office to vouch for him, and Dumbledore's belief that he did not do these things.

But he concealed the conversation with the Sorting Hat when he first entered the office. He couldn't possibly belong to Slytherin.

"So, when Headmaster Dumbledore asked you if you had anything to tell him, you said no."

"Yes." Harry lowered his head silently. Su Xingchen's face looked a little solemn, but he didn't want to tell anyone that he could hear sounds that others couldn't hear. He didn't want to accept other people's strange looks and comments anymore.

Su Xingchen was silent for a moment, and understood Harry's worries and concerns, so he reached out and rubbed his head.

"If you don't want to talk about it, then don't talk about it. It's not a big deal."

Harry's emerald eyes sparkled with stars, but Su Xingchen was thinking, "No wonder Cedric likes to rub her head when he has nothing to do. It feels really good."

Justin and Nearly Headless Nick are both attacked, turning the already tense atmosphere into a truly panic-stricken one.

Compared to Colin and Justin, the one who frightened people the most was Nearly Headless Nick. What could have done such a cruel thing to a ghost? And what kind of terrible power could harm a dead person?

Originally, a considerable number of students chose to stay at Hogwarts during Christmas, but now everyone is scrambling to reserve seats on the Hogwarts special train, looking forward to going home for Christmas.

"In this case, we'll be the only ones left at school," Ron said to Harry, Hermione, and Su Xingchen. "The four of us, along with Malfoy, Goyle, and Crabbe, it's going to be such an interesting festival."

Hermione shrugged. Goyle and Crabbe always followed Malfoy's lead, so it was no surprise that they were on the detention list.
