HP Star Shining
Chapter 105
Harry and Ron didn't return to Gryffindor until after nine o'clock, and Hagrid walked them into the hall.
As the two entered the common room, they saw a large group of people gathered in front of the notice board.
"Hogsmeade, next weekend." Ron craned his neck to look at the newly posted notice. "What do you think?" he asked Harry softly.
"Filch hasn't gotten to that secret passage in Honeydukes yet..." Harry's voice was even quieter.
The two of them found a random place to sit down, "You haven't been to Kozo's yet. You didn't see anything last time."
"Harry."
Someone called him from behind, and Harry started. He turned around and saw Hermione.
Sitting at the table behind them, he was sorting through a pile of books, making a gap to poke his head out.
"Harry, if you ever go to Hogsmeade again, I will tell Professor McGonagall about the map."
"Did you hear anyone talking, Harry?" Ron didn't even look at Hermione. Even when Hagrid advised them to be nicer to Hermione in the afternoon, he remained unmoved.
"Ron, how could you let him go? After what Black almost did to you, I mean it. I'm really going to tell..."
"Now you want Harry expelled, right?" Ron was furious. "Haven't you caused enough damage this year?"
Hermione was about to argue when Crookshanks suddenly jumped onto her knees. Her face changed slightly, she glanced at Ron, picked up Crookshanks and hurried to the girls' dormitory.
Su Xingchen came back from the bathroom and found no one in front of the table.
Where's Hermione? Where's Hermione, who's so old?
Then she saw Harry and Ron's heads in a gap between the books.
I see. No need to look for it anymore.
Su Xingchen walked up to the two of them and asked, "How was your conversation with Hagrid?"
"Pretty...pretty good." Ron felt a little uncomfortable.
"What did you talk about?" She sat down and asked with a smile.
"There are still some things about Hermione from the last game." Ron obviously didn't want to mention it, so Harry answered Su Xingchen's question.
It’s pretty much as I guessed.
She's really an expert at guessing questions, Su Xingchen thought.
"Stars." Harry lowered his voice and came closer. "Hogsmeade..."
Harry didn't finish his words, but the guesser already knew what he wanted to say; after all, the expression on his face was obvious.
"I'm not going." She shook her head.
"Why?" Harry was a little surprised.
Why? Because of that sticky, dark passage. Because of that long path. Because of that high staircase.
The last time she brought Harry back, he was in a daze. She took it all on herself, okay?
She would be stupid to go there again.
It wasn't like she really wanted to play like Harry did.
"Although the invisibility cloak can cover both of us, it's inconvenient for us to play." Su Xingchen explained, looking like a caring older sister. "You're on your own, so have fun."
Harry was speechless. After the incident of Black sneaking into Gryffindor, they could not go to Hogsmeade openly like last time. They had to wear invisibility cloaks.
The invisibility cloak can cover two people, but as Su Xingchen said, it is not very convenient if you want to play with it.
On the one hand, Harry sighed that she was really thoughtful, but on the other hand, he felt like something was wrong. He looked over and saw Su Xingchen smiling at him.
Maybe it's an illusion?
On Saturday morning, Harry stuffed his Invisibility Cloak and Marauder's Map into his backpack and went downstairs with everyone else for breakfast.
Hermione cast a suspicious look at him from time to time. In order to let her relax her guard, Harry deliberately let her see him go up the marble stairs after breakfast.
It's a rare day for Su Xingchen to have a leisurely day.
She had the fewest classes and the most free time, but unfortunately, she was either helping Harry find information for his homework or helping Hermione look through files to help Hagrid win Buckbeak's case.
It’s a nice day to sleep until I wake up naturally, read a novel leisurely, and then go downstairs for lunch.
Unexpectedly, she met Harry and Ron who were slowly climbing the marble stairs leading to the Great Hall. At this time, they should both be in Hogsmeade. It was normal for them to come back after playing until almost dark.
Su Xingchen looked around, but there was no one.
She quickly walked over to the two of them and asked quietly, "Why are you back?"
Both of them looked unhappy.
Harry told what happened with a pale face. He accidentally exposed his head under the invisibility cloak in Hogsmeade and was seen by Malfoy.
He hurried back to Hogwarts, but was caught by Snape near the one-eyed witch. Snape insisted that the Marauder's Map was caused by dark magic.
Fortunately, Ron and Lupin, who had hurried back with him, accidentally connected their words of defense. They insisted that it was Kozo's product, and he barely escaped.
But the map was confiscated by Professor Lupin.
Harry was dejected now, his mind full of Lupin's words, "Your parents sacrificed their lives to keep you alive, Harry. It's not right to repay their sacrifice in this way - to risk your life for a bag of magic tricks."
What Lupin was talking about was a bag of magic items that Harry bought at Cozzo's, which was also the evidence that Snape was convinced that he had violated school rules.
"It's all my fault," Ron said to Harry. "I told you to go. Lupin was right. This is stupid. We shouldn't be doing this..."
Su Xingchen didn't know what to say. She didn't stop the two from doing this, even though it was to allow the plot to develop naturally, but she did act like a bad friend.
In the corridor patrolled by the trolls, Hermione came towards them.
The look on her face made Harry feel certain she had heard what had happened.
"Are you here to gloat over someone else's misfortune?" Ron said unkindly.
Su Xingchen was about to tell Ron not to do that when Hermione raised the letter in her hand, her lips trembling, "I just thought I should let you know that Hagrid lost the case and Buckbeak will be executed."
Su Xingchen's heart skipped a beat.
Although she already knew the result, her heartbeat quickened when she heard it.
No matter what she thought in her heart, she and Hermione actually spent half a year looking through the files for Buckbeak.
Harry took the letter.
The parchment was damp, the ink blurred in places by large tears, making it difficult to read.
"They can't do that," said Harry.
"Malfoy's father coerced the committee into doing this. You know what he's like. The committee is full of foolish old men." Hermione wiped her eyes. "You can appeal, but I don't see any hope... nothing can be changed."
"It will change." Ron was furious. "Hermione, I will help you this time."
"Ron." Hermione took a few steps forward, threw her arms around Ron's neck and burst into tears.
