HP Star Shining

Chapter 106

Ron seemed frightened by her actions. He looked at Harry and Su Xingchen in panic, then clumsily patted Hermione's head to comfort her.

Su Xingchen in the melon field was glad that he didn't act so quickly. It seemed that they should make peace this time.

In other words, it would be tiring for her to be caught in the middle of the conflict between these two people.

After a moment, Hermione pulled away, "I'm really...really sorry about Scabbers."

"Well, it's old too." Ron felt relieved when Hermione let go. "And it's not very useful anyway. Who knows, maybe Mom and Dad will buy me an owl or something."

After Black's second break-in, security measures were tightened for the students, and they were no longer able to visit Hagrid at night.

The only time I could talk to him was during Care of Magical Creatures.

Hagrid seemed stunned by the verdict.

"It's all my fault. I'm so clumsy. They were all sitting there in their black robes, and I kept dropping my notes. I also forgot the cases and dates that Hermione and Xingchen had helped me look up. Then Malfoy stood up and said something, and the committee did what he wanted..."

"We can still appeal!" Ron said excitedly, "Don't give up, we'll find a way!"

"It's no use, Ron," Hagrid said sadly. "The Committee is at the mercy of Lucius Malfoy. I can only make sure Buckbeak is happy for the rest of his life. I owe it to him."

Hagrid said this, hiding his face in his handkerchief and walking quickly towards his cabin.

When returning to the castle with the whole class after class, Su Xingchen noticed Draco, Goyle and Crabbe standing at the castle gate.

After accidentally meeting her gaze, Draco whispered a few words to Goyle and Black, and the three of them disappeared into the passage leading to the underground classroom.

Now Gryffindor and Slytherin no longer have Potions classes together, and Gryffindor's next class is Charms.

"What are you doing?" Ron quickly grabbed the angry Hermione.

"I really want to punch him," Hermione snapped. "Harry, you'd better beat Malfoy badly in the Quidditch match. If Slytherin wins, I won't be able to stand it!"

Su Xingchen wondered why she felt that the scene of the three people standing there looked a little familiar, as if she had seen it somewhere. This was probably the time when Hermione beat Draco.

So, I indirectly helped him avoid a punch?

After figuring it out, Su Xingchen shrank his neck and tried to reduce his presence. Hermione was angry and she didn't want to get into trouble.

"It's time for Charms." Ron was still staring at Hermione blankly, as if stunned by her unexpected impulse. "Let's go."

The four of them hurried up the marble stairs and headed towards Professor Flitwick's Charms classroom.

Then, I was spectacularly late.

"You're late, boys," Professor Flitwick said accusingly as Harry pushed open the classroom door. "Come on, we're going to be testing the Happy Charm today, in pairs."

Harry and Ron hurried to the last table and opened their bags.

Ron looked back, "Where's Hermione?"

Harry looked around. Hermione hadn't entered the classroom, but he clearly remembered her following them. He looked at Su Xingchen blankly. Someone who knew the truth pretended not to know and spread their hands. "Maybe she went to the bathroom."

Su Xingchen and Hermione rarely sit together in class now, otherwise Harry and Ron would easily find the large empty seat next to her.

But today, Hermione didn't show up until the end of get out of class.

Oh no, it’s about to be exposed.

Hermione didn't come to lunch either.

As the effect of the happy spell gradually wore off, the three began to get a little worried.

Luckily, Hermione was in the common room, fast asleep on the table with an open arithmetic book beneath her head.

Harry woke her up.

"What's wrong?" Hermione was startled and looked around blankly. "Should I go now? What class is it?"

"Divination, twenty minutes left," Harry said. "Hermione, why aren't you in Charms?"

"What? Oh no!" Hermione woke up instantly after hearing this, "I forgot to go to Charms class!"

"But how could you have forgotten?" Harry was puzzled. "You were still with us when we reached the classroom door."

Hermione didn't answer. She whimpered, "I can't believe this. I hope Professor Flitwick isn't mad."

"You know what, Hermione?" Ron looked down at the large book that Hermione used as a pillow. "I think you're about to collapse. You have too many things you want to do."

Su Xingchen nodded in agreement.

"No, I won't." Hermione pushed her hair out of her eyes and searched anxiously in her bag. "I just made a little mistake. I'd better go see Professor Flitwick right away... See you in Divination!"

The three of them looked at each other in confusion as they watched Hermione disappear.

Su Xingchen felt that Hermione's last sentence sounded a little familiar. She was indeed lying and had never considered reducing classes as she had promised.

Bah, scumbag!

Ten minutes later, Hermione met Harry and the other two at the stairs leading to Professor Trelawney's classroom. Together they climbed the stairs into the dim and stuffy attic classroom.

Next year, I will definitely not take the Divination class.

Su Xingchen was breathing heavily.

Fortunately, there is only one class a week.

In today's class, there was a crystal ball emitting a faint glow and filled with pearly white mist on each small table.

Hmm, that’s interesting.

Su Xingchen finally showed some interest in the Divination class and sat at a rickety table with Harry and the others.

"I thought Crystal Ball wasn't until next term," Ron said, glancing around, fearing Professor Trelawney might be hiding nearby.

That's right, she always likes to suddenly appear behind people and scare them, especially them.

"Don't complain, this means you've finally finished learning palmistry," Harry whispered. "I'm really tired of her wincing every time she looks at my palm."

"Hello, everyone." A familiar, hazy voice came out, and Professor Trelawney appeared dramatically from the darkness as usual. Parvati and Lavender, who liked Professor Trelawney the most, were trembling with excitement, with the white light of the crystal ball printed on their faces.

The first crystal ball divination class began.

"See anything?" Harry asked after staring into the crystal ball for about a quarter of an hour.

Su Xingchen shook her head instinctively. Her eyes were almost cross-eyed, but she couldn't see any changes. Maybe, possibly, probably she really didn't have any talent in this area.

Great, I found another excuse not to take divination class.

"Hmm, there's a burn mark," Ron said, pointing to the table. "Someone knocked over a candle."

"What a waste of time," Hermione said through gritted teeth. "I could have been practicing something useful, like learning the Happy Charm or something."
