Rise of the Otherworld.

Chapter 764: Desperate Battle

A massive figure slowly emerged from the darkness. As tall as a mountain, it exuded a terrifying aura. Its body was shrouded in a dark mist, making its true form obscured. The air around it seemed to grow thicker with its presence, an invisible pressure making it difficult for everyone to breathe.

"What kind of monster is this?" The herbalist collapsed to the ground in fear. His face was as pale as paper, his eyes were filled with despair and fear, and his body was shaking continuously, as if he had lost the courage to stand up.

Zhang Hao gripped his sword tightly. "No matter what, we cannot retreat!" His eyes were firm, revealing a resolute courage. His voice was steady and powerful, like a shot of adrenaline in the arm. He tightened his grip on the hilt, his knuckles turning white from the strain.

The woman took a deep breath, suppressed her fear, and raised her wand again, a light gleaming from its tip. Her eyes were focused and determined. Despite her inner fear, she knew she couldn't retreat. The light from the wand was like a beacon of hope, dazzling in this dark environment.

The old man protected the little girl behind him, his eyes fixed on the huge figure. "Everyone, be careful." His voice, though slightly trembling, was calm and composed. His hand gently rested on the little girl's shoulder, offering her silent comfort.

As the monster drew closer, its outline gradually became clearer. It was a massive beast with huge fangs and a body covered in tough scales. The ground trembled with every step it took. Its eyes were like blazing fireballs, emitting a gleam of anger and ferocity.

Zhang Hao rushed forward first, slashing fiercely at the beast's legs with his sword. However, the sword's impact with the scales sent sparks flying, leaving only a faint white mark. His arm went numb from the recoil, but he didn't flinch, swinging his sword again.

The beast roared, swung its massive claws at Zhang Hao. The claws rang with a sharp, whistling sound, as if they could crush everything to pieces. Zhang Hao quickly dodged, but was still swept by the strong wind and fell to the ground. He rolled several times on the ground before regaining his balance.

"Zhang Hao!" the woman exclaimed, her magical rays shooting out repeatedly, hitting the beast but only slightly slowing its movements. Beads of sweat covered her forehead, and the exhaustion of her magic made her face grow even paler, but she continued to attack without a pause.

The old man took the opportunity to chant a spell, and a magic shield appeared in front of everyone. The shield flashed with a light blue light, trying to block the giant beast's attack.

The behemoth attacked the shield continuously, each blow causing it to flicker and become shaky. Cracks appeared on the shield, as if it would shatter at any moment.

"This won't work. We must find its fatal weakness!" the old man shouted. His eyes scanned the beast eagerly, trying to find a glimmer of hope.

The little girl stared wide-eyed, carefully observing the beast's every move. "Grandpa, I noticed its belly seems softer!" Her voice was clear and firm, standing out in the tense atmosphere.

Hearing this, the herbalist mustered up his courage, picked up a stone and threw it at the beast's belly. Sure enough, the beast was particularly concerned about the attack on its belly, and its movements became more violent.

"Right there!" Zhang Hao rushed forward again, leaping high into the air and thrusting with all his strength towards the beast's belly. His body arced through the air like an arrow shot from a bow.

The beast, in pain, struck back even more frantically. Its tail swept across, stirring up a gust of wind. The crowd dodged its attacks, their path dangerous. The woman stumbled over a rock, about to be struck by the beast's claws.

The old man rushed over and pulled the woman away. "Be careful!"

Just as everyone was gradually losing strength, Zhang Hao's sword finally pierced the beast's abdomen. Black blood gushed out, splashing all over Zhang Hao.

The giant beast fell to the ground with a loud thud, kicking up a cloud of dust. The ground shook slightly as it fell.

Exhausted, they collapsed to the ground, breathing heavily, their clothes tattered and their bodies covered in wounds and blood.

"Is it finally...over?" the woman asked weakly. Her voice was almost inaudible, and her eyes were filled with exhaustion and confusion.

However, before they could recover, a low roar was heard from all around them...

The sound seemed to come from the depths of hell, making people shudder.

Everyone was shocked. Could there be an even more terrifying monster?

Zhang Hao struggled to his feet, "Everyone, don't let your guard down! Get ready for battle!"

But at this moment, they are already exhausted. How should they deal with the unknown dangers?
