Rise of the Otherworld.

After repelling the monster, the group continued forward through the passage. Two forks appeared ahead. One was filled with a faint mist, appearing mysterious and unpredictable, while the other was filled with faint roaring sounds, making people's hair stand on end.

Zhang Hao stood at the fork in the road, his brow furrowed, lost in thought. His eyes moved back and forth between the two roads, trying to find some clues to make a decision.

"Which of these two paths should I choose?" the woman asked anxiously. Her eyes were filled with confusion and fear, and her hands were tightly gripping the dagger, her knuckles turning white from the pressure.

The man in black robe stepped forward, observed for a while and said, "I think the foggy road may hide more unknown dangers, but the road where the roaring sound came from, at least we know that there is danger." His voice was low and serious, and the staff in his hand unconsciously tightened, as if preparing for the upcoming choice.

The herbalist shook his head: "But we still want to go even though we know there is danger. Aren't we asking for trouble? Maybe the foggy road will be relatively safer." His face was full of worry, and his eyes revealed the fear of the unknown.

The old man stroked his beard and said slowly: "Both paths are full of uncertainty. This is a difficult choice." His eyes were deep and distant, as if he was thinking about deeper issues.

Zhang Hao remained silent, his mind racing. He recalled the hardships and obstacles he had faced along the way, and how every choice had been a matter of life and death.

"If we choose the foggy road, we may fall into unknown traps or even lose our way. But if we choose the road with roars, at least we can be prepared to deal with the impending dangers." Zhang Hao finally spoke, his voice firm and powerful.

The woman bit her lip. "But, that roar sounds so terrifying. What if we can't handle it?"

Zhang Hao glanced at her and said, "But unknown dangers may be even more difficult to predict."

The black-robed man nodded. "Zhang Hao is right. We can't run away from the unknown, which may be even more dangerous, out of fear."

The herbalist was still a little hesitant: "But this is just speculation. Perhaps we will be in dire straits because of this decision."

Just as everyone was arguing, a more violent noise came from the road where the roaring sound came from, as if something huge was approaching.

"There's no time, we must make a decision!" Zhang Hao said loudly.

Everyone's expressions became more solemn. They knew that the choice at this moment was crucial.

"Just take the road where the roaring sound comes from!" Zhang Hao gritted his teeth and made the decision.

Everyone no longer hesitated and followed Zhang Hao into the road full of unknown dangers.

The road was filled with a strong smell of blood, making it difficult to breathe. Strange lights flickered on the walls, as if foreshadowing something.

"Everyone be careful!" Zhang Hao reminded.

Suddenly, a huge monster rushed out from the darkness. It was huge, with sharp thorns all over its body and its eyes flashing red light.

"Get ready for battle!" Zhang Hao shouted and rushed forward first.

The woman cast a spell, sending beams of light shooting towards the monster. The black-robed figure swung his staff, unleashing a powerful spell. The herbalist, watching for an opportunity, threw a hidden weapon crafted from herbs.

The old man cast defensive spells for everyone in the back.

The monster's attack power was extremely strong, and each attack put everyone under tremendous pressure. Zhang Hao was scratched several times by the monster's claws, but he still gritted his teeth and fought hard.

The woman's magic power gradually depleted and her movements became slow.

"Hold on!" Zhang Hao shouted.

Under the tenacious resistance of the crowd, the monster finally showed signs of fatigue.

"Now is the time to deliver a fatal blow!" Zhang Hao seized the opportunity and stabbed the monster's weak point with a sword.

The monster let out a scream and fell to the ground.

Everyone collapsed to the ground exhausted, gasping for breath.

"We... succeeded..." the woman said weakly.

However, what they don't know is that this is only the first challenge on this road, and there are more dangers waiting for them...
