Rise of the Otherworld.

After a short rest, everyone continued on their way. A narrow and dark passage appeared in front of them. The walls were flickering with strange lights, as if telling a secret unknown to them.

Zhang Hao, sword in hand, was the first to step into the passage. His footsteps echoed clearly in the silent passage. With each step, he carefully observed his surroundings, fearing any danger might suddenly strike.

The woman followed closely behind, the dagger in her hand emitting a faint light, illuminating a small area for them. Her heartbeat was particularly clear in this quiet environment, and tension and uneasiness filled her heart.

"Everyone be careful, there's something weird about this place." Zhang Hao whispered, his voice echoing in the passage.

The black-robed man nodded, gripping his staff tightly, ready to respond to any danger. His eyes scanned the surroundings vigilantly, not missing a single movement.

The herbalist walked in the middle, his eyes constantly observing the light on the wall, secretly guessing the source of the light.

The old man followed slowly behind, his expression calm and composed, as if he had anticipated the situation.

The passage was filled with a damp smell, and the ground was a bit slippery, forcing everyone to slow down. Suddenly, a cool breeze blew from the front, mixed with the faint sound of crying.

"What's that sound?" The woman's voice trembled, and she unconsciously moved closer to Zhang Hao.

Zhang Hao stopped and listened carefully. "I don't know, but it's definitely not a good sign." His brows furrowed, and his vigilance intensified.

The crying became clearer and clearer, as if a woman was crying and telling something in their ears. Everyone's face turned very ugly, and fear spread in their hearts.

"Don't be fooled by this voice, stay awake." The old man's voice sounded with a calming power.

Zhang Hao took a deep breath and continued to move forward. As they went deeper, the passage became narrower and narrower, only enough for one person to pass through.

"Everyone come one by one." Zhang Hao said.

He was the first to squeeze in sideways, and the others followed in order. In this narrow space, everyone's breathing seemed particularly heavy.

Suddenly, Zhang Hao felt a powerful force coming from the front, and he subconsciously used his sword to block it.

With a "bang", Zhang Hao was knocked back a few steps by this force.

"What's going on?" asked the person behind.

"There's something ahead, be careful!" Zhang Hao shouted.

The light from the dagger the woman handed over from behind allowed Zhang Hao to see the situation ahead a little more clearly. He saw a huge shadow appear at the end of the passage, emitting a terrifying aura.

Zhang Hao calmed himself down and walked forward again. When he got closer to the shadow, he realized it was a huge monster, its body almost occupying the entire passage.

The monster opened its bloody mouth and lunged at Zhang Hao. Zhang Hao dodged sideways and stabbed the monster's eyes with his sword. The monster roared in pain.

When the people behind heard the sound, they quickened their pace and wanted to come forward to help.

The black-robed man cast a spell, and a flame flew towards the monster. The monster was struck by the flame and took a few steps back.

The herbalist also took out some herbs from his backpack and threw them at the monster.

With everyone's concerted efforts, the monster was finally repelled. They continued to move forward, and the passage gradually became wider.

However, they didn't know that a greater danger was waiting for them ahead...
