The President's Tender Trap
Chapter 287 Goal Setting
A few days after successfully completing the market research, Wang Cong gathered the team in the conference room again to set clear goals for the upcoming marketing campaign. Sunlight streamed through the window onto the conference table, illuminating everyone's faces. The team members were filled with anticipation.
"Hello everyone, today we'll focus on our marketing goals," Wang Cong began. "Through our previous research, we've gained a deeper understanding of our competitors and target customer base. Next, we need to clarify our marketing objectives to better guide our actions."
Su Wan spoke first, her eyes twinkling with enthusiasm. "I believe our goals should be clear and measurable. We can start with the following: brand awareness, user acquisition, user activity, and customer satisfaction."
"Sounds good," Wang Cong nodded in agreement. "Could you please elaborate on the specifics of each goal?"
"Of course." Su Wan cleared her throat and began to explain in detail. "First and foremost, brand awareness. We hope to achieve brand awareness among at least 30% of our target customer base within the first three months of product launch. This can be achieved through social media promotion, offline events, and advertising."
"This goal is very important. Brand awareness is often the first step in a user's purchasing decision," Lu Ming added. "We can develop a series of promotional strategies to ensure that our brand information is effectively disseminated to our target customer base."
"Next is user acquisition," Su Wan continued. "Our goal is to get at least 1000 registered users within the first six months of the product launch. We can achieve this through online and offline promotional activities, promotions, and user sharing."
"I think we could consider launching some activities to encourage users to register, such as referral rewards," Chen Xiaoxuan suggested. "This would not only attract new users but also encourage existing users to promote the service."
“That’s a great idea, Chen Xiaoxuan,” Wang Cong agreed. “We need to leverage the power of social media to expand our user base.”
Su Wan continued, "The third goal is user engagement. We want at least 60% of our users to use our product at least three times within the first three months after registration. To achieve this, we need to regularly release updates and new features, and maintain engagement with users through email marketing and social media."
"User activity directly impacts product usage and customer retention," said Li Jing. "We can analyze user feedback and usage data to understand user needs and continuously optimize our products."
"Finally, it's customer satisfaction," Su Wan said. "We hope to achieve a customer satisfaction rate of over 85% within six months of the product's launch. We can conduct regular user surveys to collect feedback and make timely improvements."
"I completely agree with this goal," Lu Ming added. "Customer satisfaction not only improves user retention, but also attracts more new users through word-of-mouth."
"It sounds like our goals are very clear and specific," Wang Cong concluded. "So, do we all agree on these goals?"
The team members nodded in agreement.
"Next, we need to develop a detailed action plan, ensuring each goal has a specific implementation plan and timeline." Wang Cong continued, "We can divide it into small groups, each responsible for brand awareness, user acquisition, user activity, and customer satisfaction. Each group needs to develop a specific plan and report back at the next meeting."
"I'm willing to be responsible for increasing brand awareness," Su Wan volunteered. "I'll develop a detailed publicity plan, including social media promotion, offline events, and advertising."
"I can take care of user acquisition," Chen Xiaoxuan continued. "I'll design some activities to attract users to register, such as referral rewards and social media sweepstakes."
"I'll be responsible for increasing user activity," Lu Ming said. "I'll collect user feedback, develop relevant update plans, and ensure users continue to pay attention to the product."
"Then I'll be responsible for customer satisfaction," Li Jing added. "I'll develop user surveys, regularly collect user feedback, and optimize the product based on that feedback."
"Very good! Everyone's division of labor is very clear," Wang Cong said, expressing satisfaction. "In the future, we must maintain good communication to ensure smooth progress in the implementation of each goal."
After the meeting, the team members left the room with a clear sense of purpose and responsibility. Everyone was full of energy and began to develop their own work plans.
Over the next few days, the team members were busy and fulfilled with their respective tasks. Su Wan began contacting media outlets and preparing to publish brand promotional content, Chen Xiaoxuan actively engaged with users on social media, Lu Ming continuously optimized the product to ensure a positive user experience, and Li Jing began designing a user feedback questionnaire.
As time went on, each of the team's goals was gradually being realized. Wang Cong often inspected the team's progress and felt a sense of accomplishment when he saw everyone working towards a common goal.
"Our efforts will definitely make this team successful," Wang Cong silently encouraged himself. He knew that the success of a team depends not only on setting goals, but also on the dedication and cooperation of every member.
As each goal was gradually achieved, the team's morale continued to improve. Their spirit of cooperation and tacit understanding gradually formed, and everyone was moving towards a common goal with great anticipation in their hearts.
Ultimately, Wang Cong firmly believes that this team will continue to move forward on the road of marketing and create their own glory.
