The shock came unexpectedly.

Rosie stumbled and fell forward uncontrollably. Falcon, quick-witted, grabbed her arm and stabilized her shaky body.

"Thank you—" Before he could finish his words, a second wave of tremors hit, this time even more violent than before, and the ground shook violently.

"Look over there!" An orc pointed to the distance in horror.

Rosie looked up and saw a mountain collapsing. Huge rocks tumbled from the peak, crashing into the caves at the foot. Dust billowed, obscuring the sky. That was the settlement on the eastern side of the tribe.

"That's the Jiebing family's cave!" Sisi's voice trembled as she pointed at the collapsing area. "I just taught them how to dig a fire wall yesterday..."

Panic spread throughout the tribe, with screams and cries everywhere.

"Don't panic!" Chief Sarko roared, "All the males who can fight, follow me to rescue them!"

Sarco shouted as he rushed towards the disaster area, followed by a group of strong male orcs.

Falcon turned back to look at Rosie: "You stay here and don't move."

"I want to go too." Rosie grabbed Falcon's arm, "I know first aid."

"It's too dangerous!" Falcon's eyes were cold, "You are a female——"

"There's no time to argue!" Rosie shook off his hand and ran towards the disaster area.

Falcon cursed and quickly caught up.

The disaster area was in chaos. Amidst the thick dust, broken walls and ruins lay scattered everywhere. Several caves had completely collapsed, leaving only piles of rubble.

Sarco directed the orcs to move the rocks. "Be careful! There may be survivors down there!"

Rosie ran to the nearest ruins, knelt down, and pressed herself against the crevice. "Is anyone there?" she called out.

A faint cry came from under the pile of stones.

"There's a child!" Rosie's heartbeat quickened as she turned to the beastmen behind her. "There's a living person here! Help!"

Several strong orcs came over immediately and carefully moved the stones away.

Piece by piece, a gap finally appeared. Luo Qian didn't care about the danger and immediately leaned over to look inside.

A small cub curled up in the arms of an adult female, both buried by falling rocks, leaving only a small space. The female used her body to protect the child, but she was already covered in blood and dying.

"Hurry! We have to rescue them!" Rosie's voice was tense.

The orcs sped up their work and soon dug a tunnel. Rosie was the first to get in, handing the child out first, and then helping the male orcs carefully move the injured female out.

"Sisi, look after the child!" Luo Xi shouted, and then immediately checked the female's injuries.

He suffered a skull fracture and multiple internal bleeding and was in a terrible condition.

Luo Xi took a deep breath, and as if possessed, she placed her hand on it. Green energy blossomed from her hand...

Rosie was stunned.

Green energy flowed from her palms like a spring stream, slowly pouring into the female orc's scarred body. The wounds healed at a visible speed, broken bones reconnected, and the internal bleeding ceased.

Is this... a superpower?

She couldn't believe her eyes. This feeling was both strange and familiar, as if a long-dormant memory had been awakened.

A supernatural power like a falcon?

Why does she have super powers?

Not only was she stunned, but the surrounding beastmen also stared with wide eyes, their jaws nearly dropping to the ground. No female had ever possessed supernatural powers before; this broke the rules of the world.

"How could she have special powers?" I don't know who spoke first, but the voice was full of fear.

"How can a female have superpowers?" Another voice sounded, with obvious rejection.

The crowd began to stir, and whispers spread in the air like a poisonous snake.

"Is she sent by the devil?" An old orc pointed at Rosie, his fingers trembling.

"It must be her. She was the one who told us how to make the wall of fire." Another voice followed, its tone filled with fear and anger.

"Yes, that's right. If it weren't for her, there wouldn't have been this landslide. It's all her fault!"

Panic spread like a plague. Rosie felt a chill run down her spine. She had only wanted to save someone, but she hadn't expected such a reaction.

Falcon stood in front of Rosie with a stern look in his eyes, his muscles tense, ready to strike at any moment. His eyes flashed with danger, like a beast protecting its territory.

"Stand back." Falcon's voice was low and threatening. "Whoever dares to touch her will not see the sun tomorrow."

The orcs were frightened by the falcon's momentum and took a few steps back involuntarily, but the fear and hostility in their eyes did not dissipate.

"Falcon, why are you protecting her?" A burly orc stood up and questioned, "She's an alien!"

"She just saved someone. Are you blind?" Falcon sneered, his voice as sharp as an ice knife. "If it weren't for her, the frozen partner would be dead now."

Luo Xi looked at the female orc lying on the ground. Her injuries had stabilized and her breathing was steady. The cub was crying in Si Si's arms, but at least they were both alive.

"I don't know why I have this ability," Luo Xi stood up, her voice soft but firm, "but I just want to save people, I have no other intentions."

The Water Tribe people were silent.

Deathly silence fell, as if time had frozen in that moment. A single female lay kneeling before the ruins, crying heartbreakingly. Her mate and cub had both been taken by this merciless disaster.

"It's you…"

She raised her head, tears and hatred mixed in her eyes.

"You killed my partner!"

Before she finished her words, she suddenly jumped up from the ground, holding a stone knife in her hand. The stone knife gleamed coldly in the sunlight and pointed directly at Luo Xi's heart.

The falcon darted forward and clamped the female's wrist. The stone knife fell to the ground with a crisp sound.

The female struggled and screamed, "Burn her to death! Burn this female with supernatural powers to death! She is an ominous person! Sent by the devil!"

Rosie took a step back, her heart pounding. She looked around, seeing only fear, anger, and rejection. The faces that had once smiled at her now seemed strange and terrifying.

"She taught us to build a kang just to invite disaster!"

"That's right! How could a female have superpowers? This goes against the rules of the world!"

"She brought this misfortune upon me!"

The sounds came one after another, like the hissing of a poisonous snake, and drilled into Rosie's ears.

Falcon stood in front of Luo Xi, his eyes as cold as a knife. "Shut up, everyone, shut up!" His voice seemed to come from the depths of hell, shocking everyone.

The female who had lost her family knelt on the ground, her tears dried up, leaving only hatred. "I am from the Tower Clan, and I demand that this alien be burned at the stake!"

Chief Sarko frowned, his gaze shifting between Rosie and the others. The atmosphere in the tribe was tense.

"Chief Sarko, you must make a choice." An elder stepped forward, his voice deep and powerful. "Protect an alien of unknown origin, or maintain the peace of the tribe?"

Sarko took a deep breath, a hint of apology flashing in his eyes. "Rosie, you must leave the tribe."

Rosie was stunned. Leaving? With the winter approaching?

"I just want to save people..." Rosie's voice trembled slightly, "I don't have the ability to bring disaster, and I'm not a devil."

"You have superpowers, and females are not supposed to have superpowers." Sarko's voice was firm. "For the peace of the tribe, you must leave."

Rosie's heart ached. She wasn't from this world, but she knew what it meant to be expelled from the tribe in the cold season—death, undoubtedly death.

The cold wind suddenly became biting, blowing up the dust on the ground and blowing into Rosie's collar. Before she could recover from the shock, she felt a warm hand holding hers.

Falcon stood beside her, his eyes gleaming with some emotion Rosie had never seen before.

"I'll go with her." Falcon's voice was firm and unquestionable.

Luo Xi looked up at him, an indescribable feeling welling up in her heart. This man who had once treated her coldly was now willing to give up the protection of the tribe for her.

"Falcon, are you crazy?" someone exclaimed, "The cold season is coming!"

The Land Tribe and the Water Tribe are so close, the news here will soon be spread to the Land Tribe.

Since Falcon chose Rosie, naturally he couldn't even go back to the Lu Clan.

"Yes, I'm crazy." Falcon smiled coldly, "So don't mess with me."

He took Luo Xi's hand and walked out of the tribe. Luo Xi felt the warmth from his palm, which was firmness, commitment, and some kind of emotion that she dared not think about.

The tribe automatically parted ways and watched the "outliers" leave. Some showed sympathy, others contempt, and most were filled with fear and confusion.

"Falcon..." Rosie called softly.

"Don't talk." Falcon said in a low voice without turning his head, "Follow me."

Rosie took a deep breath and looked up at the sky. Dark clouds and a biting cold wind indicated the coming of a snowstorm.

She didn't know what the future held, but at least she was not alone at the moment.

Falcon's hands were warm and strong, as if silently declaring something...
