In the dimly lit small treatment cabin, the air was filled with the faint aroma of herbs and the smell of blood.

The silver-haired man lay on a simple bed, his chest rising and falling slowly. His face, once soaked in blood, was now cleansed, revealing delicate features. His brow was furrowed, as if he were in torment even in his coma.

Kyle sat on the edge of the bed, his amber eyes fixed on the man, like a cheetah guarding its prey.

"Marshal, his vital signs have stabilized," Admiral Mike reported in a low voice. "Lu Ye's wood-based abilities have repaired most of his internal organ damage, but he lost a lot of blood and needs time to recover."

Kyle didn't respond, instead tapping his fingers lightly on his knee. Each click was like the gears of a countdown, precise and cold.

In the corner, Lu Ye stood against the wall, his peach-shaped eyes filled with worry. He opened his mouth, then closed it again, his eyes flickering between Kyle and the silver-haired man.

"what…"

A faint groan broke the silence. The silver-haired man's eyelashes trembled slightly, and he slowly opened his eyes.

Those were a pair of auspicious phoenix eyes as bright as stars.

"Xiao...Xiao..." He spoke with difficulty, his voice as hoarse as sandpaper.

Kyle instantly rushed forward and grabbed the man's shoulder: "Where's Rosie?"

The silver-haired man frowned in pain, and a trace of confusion flashed in Ruifeng's eyes, and then gradually focused.

He struggled to get up, but his body refused to obey. He narrowed his eyes and scanned the unfamiliar surroundings, his alertness evident.

"Who are you?" His voice was hoarse, his Adam's apple rolled, and every word seemed to be spoken with all his strength.

Kyle didn't answer, but instead tightened his grip on the silver-haired man's shoulder. "I'll ask again, where is Rosie?"

The silver-haired man frowned, and a strange look flashed in his eyes.

"What are you talking about? What Rosie?" He paused for a moment, a gentle smile on his face. "My partner's name is Sissi. As for who this Rosie you're talking about is, I don't know her."

Kyle's eyes suddenly turned cold, and murderous intent surged in his amber eyes.

Lu Ye picked up Yu's tattered animal skin skirt, with a dangerous light flashing in his eyes.

"Stop playing word games with me." Kyle said in a low voice, and the whole space was instantly filled with a dangerous atmosphere.

Mike reached out to stop Lu Ye, his blue eyes beneath his golden eyelashes concealing calculations: "What's your name?"

The silver-haired man tilted his head slightly, his eyes as calm as water: "My name is Yu."

Kyle drummed his fingers on his knees, his rhythm precise, like a countdown to death. Lu Ye stood in the corner with his lips pursed, the worry in his peach-shaped eyes almost overflowing.

"How did you get in there?" Mike's voice was steady, and every word was tentative.

Yu didn't rush to answer. He held out his hand, palm facing up.

A wild grass grew out of thin air from the palm of his hand. The tender green stem grew rapidly and a small flower bloomed at the top.

The flowers are in full bloom and the colors are bright.

And withered and died in the next second.

The withered yellow petals are curled and shriveled.

Then--

Turn back time.

The withered flower comes back to life, blooms, shrinks, and finally degenerates into a seed.

The whole room suddenly became quiet.

Kyle's fingers stopped in mid-air, and his amber pupils suddenly contracted.

Lu Ye straightened his back suddenly, his eyes wide open: "This is——"

"Time power." Mike's face turned pale.

No one noticed Enzo standing in the corner, with an imperceptible fluctuation flashing in his purple eyes.

"Impossible." Kyle's voice was cold and hard, and every word was squeezed out from between his teeth. "The ability of time is a legendary forbidden power. Ancient books only record it -"

"Only God can control it." Mike continued his words, his golden brows furrowed.

Yu collected the seeds in his palm, and a trace of fatigue flashed in Ruifeng's eyes: "I am not a god."

His voice was deep and magnetic, with an indescribable sense of vicissitudes, as if he had experienced too many life and death situations.

"I'm just a person cursed by time."

Kyle narrowed his amber eyes. "Curse?"

Yu nodded, her short silver hair gleaming coldly under the light. "This power is a curse to me. I can reverse time on small things, but for large objects or living things, my power is limited and the cost is huge."

Yu tore open the animal skin coat on his chest with quick and decisive movements.

Black lines stretched from his left chest to his collarbone, twisting and turning like a venomous snake biting through flesh. A strange, dark light shone from the wound, stinging the eyes.

"Every time you use it, the wound spreads a little bit."

He pulled up a bitter smile, and his phoenix eyes under his silver hair were as dark as a well, without any light.

"When it creeps up to my heart, my time is up."

Lu Ye took a deep breath, his peach blossom eyes widening. He subconsciously looked at Kyle, but saw that the marshal's face was even colder, and there was an undercurrent in his amber eyes.

Yu slowly closed her clothes, her fingertips trembling slightly.

"I wanted to go back to the Sea Tribe Temple to get medicine..." He said in a low voice, his Adam's apple rolling, "but I was chased by a group of stray beasts, so I had no choice but to use my supernatural power."

He raised his head, and his phoenix eyes swept over everyone present, his gaze as sharp as a knife: "Thank you all for saving my life."

Kyle's eyes locked onto hers. "Where do you live? We'll take you back."

A trace of fluctuation flashed across Yu's eyes, but disappeared in an instant.

"Okay, thank you all very much."

……

The orcs of the Water Tribe gathered together and talked non-stop.

"This kang is amazing! My family built it overnight, and I slept more comfortably last night than in the past ten winter seasons!" A male aquatic creature with animal skins tied around his waist slapped his thighs, his eyes shining brightly enough to illuminate the entire tribe.

"My little cub used to get sick all the time during the cold season. But with the fire wall this year, he didn't cough all night." Another female held the cub in her arms, her tone full of joy.

"This method saved our entire tribe!" an older male raised his voice. "With the fire kang and the fire wall, we can definitely get through this cold season safely!"

Heated discussions can be heard everywhere in the tribe.

Luo Xi stood not far away, her lips curled up slightly. Watching the busy figures in the tribe, a warm feeling welled up in her heart.

Although she is just a passer-by in this world, she feels good to be able to do something for this world.

Falcon leaned against a tree, his arms folded, his eyes never leaving Rosie. He looked indifferent, but the emotions in his eyes were more complex than anyone else's.

Falcon walked up to Rosie and lowered his voice: "How long are you going to watch here?"

Luo Xi turned her head and met Falcon's deep eyes: "Why, are you in a hurry to go back?"

"There's nothing to see." Falcon turned his head away, his voice cold and hard.

Rosie was about to retort when the ground suddenly shook.

boom--

There was a loud bang. Deafening.

The tribe's celebratory laughter came to an abrupt end.

Rosie lost her balance and nearly fell, but Falcon grabbed her arm and steady her.

"What's going on?" Rosie's eyes widened.

There was another tremor, this time even stronger than before.

"Earthquake?" Rosie blurted out.

Falcon looked into the distance with a serious expression: "No, it's a landslide."

In the distance, a mountain was collapsing. Countless rocks tumbled from the peak, raising clouds of dust. The rumbling sound was incessant.
