Falcon strode into the cave, his bronzed muscles gleaming with a feral sheen in the morning light. He glanced around, his gaze landing directly on Rosie, his lips curled downward.

"Who do you think wants to take care of you? Troublemaker."

The voice was as cold and hard as stone, and every word hit Rosie mercilessly.

"Falcon."

The sound of the rain suddenly cooled down, and his eyes under the silver hair were as sharp as a knife, and his breath was fierce. Luo Qian had never seen him look like this before, as if he had completely changed.

"We agreed that."

Luo Xi rarely saw Yu so tough. His tone left no room for negotiation and no room for maneuver.

Falcon raised his hand to scratch the back of his neck, his shoulders casually leaning against the cave wall, his muscles rippled with the movement. He rolled his eyes.

"I know, get out of here now."

Luo Xi frowned. The conversation between the beastmen was too direct, as if they were about to fight if they disagreed.

"I'll be leaving in a minute." Yu turned to Luo Xi, her eyes instantly softening, "If you have anything, you can ask Falcon for help."

Falcon scoffed, folded his arms and leaned against the cave wall, his eyes sliding coldly over Rosie.

"Help her for what? You really think I'm taking care of the cubs."

Luo Xi clenched her fists and subconsciously wanted to fight back, but swallowed it back.

Yu is still here, and she can't let Yu get hurt and worry about herself.

Let’s talk about everything after the rain goes away.

"I won't cause you any trouble." She looked up and looked directly into Falcon's eyes, her voice calm.

Falcon was stunned for a moment, and a hint of surprise flashed across his bronze face.

Yu held Luo Xi's wrist and gently rubbed her fingers on the back of her hand. The warmth of their skin touching made Luo Xi's heart beat faster.

"Don't worry, I'll be back soon." Yu's voice was low and gentle enough to drip water. "Wait for me here."

His fingertips brushed her cheek, the movement as light as a feather. Rosie nodded, but her eyes unconsciously glanced at Falcon.

Falcon turned his head to avoid the woman's sight, and his Adam's apple rolled subconsciously.

"Remember to prepare food for her on time. She likes to eat well-cooked meat, preferably from the Jiujiu beast." Yu reminded, but her fingers still did not leave Luo Xi's face.

"That's enough, she's not a real cub!" Falcon raised his head suddenly and scratched his short hair in front of his forehead in annoyance.

Yu was too lazy to talk to him anymore, but he knew that although Falcon said that, he would definitely do what he promised.

Yu took one last look at Luo Xi, her silver hair gleaming in the morning light. He turned and left, his back straight, but slightly tense due to the injury on his right arm.

Only Rosie and Falcon were left in the cave, and the air had frozen into ice.

Rosie sat back on the hide, her hands folded around her knees, her eyes fixed on the fire. She didn't want to look at the falcon, nor did she want to talk to him.

"Hey."

Falcon's voice broke the silence. Rosie looked up and met those hostile eyes.

"Who the hell are you?" Falcon approached, looking down at her. "He and I have known each other since childhood. The Yu I know would never give up the chance to advance for a female."

Rosie straightened her back. "I didn't ask him to give up anything."

"Then why is he so nice to you?" Falcon took a step closer, his breath spraying on her face.

Each question stabbed Rosie like a knife into her heart. She opened her mouth to retort, but found she didn't have the answer either.

"I don't know," she finally admitted, her voice almost inaudible.

Falcon stood up and looked down at her condescendingly, with a complex emotion flashing in his eyes.

"You'd better not hurt him." He said this and turned to walk towards the cave entrance.

"Where are you going?" Luo Xi asked subconsciously.

"Catch some food." Falcon said without turning his head. "Yu said you like Jiujiu beasts."

Luo Xi was stunned. This orc who had just been hurling insults at her was now going to get her food?

"I'm not hungry," she said.

Falcon stopped and looked back at her: "Yu said she would feed you on time."

After saying this, he strode out of the cave.

Luo Xi sat alone in the cave, feeling a mixture of emotions. She thought of Yu's injury, the chance to advance that Falcon had mentioned, and everything Yu had done for her.

Is she really worth it?

Time passed by minute by minute, and finally Falcon came back, carrying two fat tsugae in his hands. Without a word, he began to process the prey, his movements neat and skillful.

Rosie observed him furtively. Sunlight streamed through the hole onto his tanned skin, outlining the perfect lines of his muscles. His profile was sharply defined, his jawline firm, and a hint of wild charm between his brows.

"Have you seen enough?" Falcon suddenly asked, his eyes still fixed on the hare in his hands.

Luo Xi responded calmly: "I've seen enough, the rain is still more beautiful."

Falcon's expression instantly darkened, his brow furrowed, and veins bulged slightly beneath his bronze skin. A surge of rage shot from his chest to his throat.

"You!" He almost spat out the word through gritted teeth.

Rosie chuckled inwardly. This man was like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, its fur standing on end. In her opinion, Falcon was just a hot-tempered brat, no match for the mature and steady Rain. She already had an idea for how to deal with this kind of person.

"Yu wouldn't be so stingy," Luo Xi said, crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow, "He would accept my compliments with a smile."

Falcon paused, his nails piercing directly into the flesh of the beast. He didn't even need a knife; his sharp nails easily cut through the barbecue, more efficient than any other sharp weapon.

"Yuyuyu, is there anyone else you're talking about besides him?" Falcon looked up, dissatisfaction burning in his eyes. "Is he really that good?"

Luo Xi nodded, her tone affirmative: "Of course, he won't get angry easily like some people."

"I'm not angry!" Falcon's voice suddenly rose and his face became darker.

Luo Xi chuckled: "Your expression right now is like a child whose candy was taken away."

"You!" Falcon stood up suddenly, his bronze muscles tensed in the firelight, like a cheetah ready to pounce. He took a step closer and glared down at Luo Xi. "Do you think I dare not touch you?"

Luo Xi looked up and looked him in the eyes, not flinching at all: "Do you dare? Yu entrusted me to you."

Falcon opened his mouth to retort, but nothing came to his mind. He took a deep breath and tried to calm himself.

"Smart little female," he sneered, "Do you think you're safe hiding behind the rain?"

"I don't need to hide behind anyone," Rosie said calmly, "I'm just stating the facts. Yu trusts you, so I'm willing to trust you too."

Falcon was taken aback, obviously not expecting Rosie to say that. He looked at her scrutinizingly, a complex expression flashing across his bronze face.

He remembered what she had just said and asked, "What is sugar?"
