Dumbledore hadn't taken his eyes off Lamia since she appeared. After he saw Lamia's fingers on her legs move quietly a few times, he took out his wand from his arms and left the scene with Hagrid.

But before leaving, he glanced in Lamia's direction, and their eyes met, as if they were talking about some silent plan.

"Sir, he's run away, I'll go..." The subordinates behind Amycus Carrow still didn't understand the situation and shouted loudly for Dumbledore and Hagrid who had disappeared. However, they were killed by Tom before they could finish their words.

"Sir, do you have any instructions?" Amycus Carlo wiped the sweat from his forehead and refused to get up from his kneeling position no matter how his subordinates supported him.

"Leave here." Tom kneaded Lamia's earlobe. The small pink earlobe was rubbed red by his rough fingers. He was in a much better mood, which was visibly reflected in his expression.

Several people hurriedly got up from their places and pulled the weak-legged Amycus Carlo away.

But Lucius Malfoy did not do so. He walked up to Tom and took off the black robe on his head. Only then did Lamia realize that he had not had thin hair from the beginning.

"My Lord, I admire your strength. Please allow me to contribute everything I have to you."

Lucius's respectful and fawning appearance was completely different from the first time Lamia saw him. It must be said that he was really good at judging the situation. Before the other subordinates understood, he started to promote himself to the leader of his leader.

Lamia felt that Draco had really made his father a legend, but it was undeniable that he did have great power in reality.

When Tom heard what Lucius said, he didn't say no, but he didn't say yes either.

Even Lamia, who had been with Tom all day, didn't understand what he meant, but Lucius left excitedly.

"Going somewhere else?" Tom asked, turning his head.

"No, let's go back. I'm tired."

"Okay." Tom put his long arms through Lamia's knees and held her in his arms. "Take a rest if you're tired." His voice was still so gentle, but he was no longer the same person.

Tom carried Lamia to his room and gently placed her on the bed. Lamia's eyes were tightly closed and her breathing gradually became steady.

Tom looked for a long time before reluctantly walking out of the room. He had other things to do. Tom didn't know what he was thinking about, and his eyes gradually became sharp.

Lamia woke up after Tom left and found that Tom was not in the room. She quickly got up from the bed, opened the door, and walked in the direction she had just returned from.

Lamia took big steps, and soon she saw Dumbledore waiting there. The latter had a very serious expression and looked at the clock several times a minute.

"Hello, sir." Lamia walked up to Dumbledore. "I thought you wouldn't come."

Dumbledore kept looking at Lamia, as if to confirm whether she could be trusted, but when he noticed Lamia's bare feet and the absence of any magical fluctuations in her aura, his frown suddenly relaxed.

"Hello, miss, let's go to another place." Dumbledore took out his wand from his pocket. "Do you mind if I use magic?"

"As you please, sir," said Lamia.

Dumbledore chuckled and waved the wand in his hand. Lamia felt dizzy and when she opened her eyes again, she came to an unfamiliar place. There was not even a complete building here. It was a completely cold, dark and remote place.
