After HP shared the dream, Lao Fu was conquered by me
Chapter 90: Finding the Truth (2)
"Not Lamia?" Hermione and Ron looked at Harry in surprise.
"No, it's her. I'm sure Lamia must have been under a spell." Harry said firmly, "When I greeted her, I noticed she had an ugly smile, just like Ron did just now, but we all know Lamia would never do that."
Harry told Hermione and Ron everything about his experience, and Lamia had guessed what was going on after hearing it.
Although she didn't know how Tom suddenly ran out of her dream, Lamia was sure that she was controlled by Tom to write the words on the wall without her knowledge.
After figuring out all this, there was no point in Lamia staying here. She might as well go back and finish Snape's essay homework, which was a full four feet long.
After returning to the dormitory, Lamia saw the diaries scattered on the side of the desk at a glance. Unexpectedly, the diaries were not as new as before, especially the cover, which had some obvious scratches.
Lamia picked up the diary and placed it on the table, tentatively writing a few words on it:
Tom, are you still there?
The ink quickly disappeared, and a line of words emerged from it:
Lamia, I am always here and I will always be there for you.
Lamia suddenly felt bored. This diary only said things that had no appeal to her.
After closing the diary, Lamia took out the parchment scroll and prepared to do her homework.
But the diary that she casually threw aside trembled, as if unwilling to do so. However, Lamia directly pressed down a "History of Hogwarts" as thick as a brick on it. Soon the diary stopped moving and became as quiet as if it was just a diary.
Lamia finally finished writing the required words for the paper and collapsed on the bed exhausted. It was really hard for her to understand the joy of writing a paper that Hermione talked about. It turned out that there were differences between people.
Before she knew it, Lamia fell asleep, and the diary strangely lit up, easily flipping over the book covering it, which fell to the ground with a dull thud.
Lamia was not woken up, she just turned over and continued to sleep. The diary opened without wind, and an almost transparent and blurry figure walked out from the opened pages. It was Tom.
He slowly moved to Lamia's bedside, looking at the silver-haired girl who was falling asleep. Her face was gloomy and the murderous aura around her was looming. Finally, Tom reached out his hand, but only covered her with the quilt.
Then Tom beside the bed disappeared into the room like a puff of mist, and the diary closed again.
On the bed, Lamia, who had her eyes closed, opened them the moment the diary was closed. She was asleep, but woke up when Tom appeared again.
Lamia had a hunch that Tom wanted to kill her, but for some reason he didn't do it. However, it was this unconscious murderous intent that made Lamia want to destroy the diary. She couldn't tolerate having such a time bomb around her, no matter who he was.
Based on what Tom said at the beginning and his inexplicable murderous intent towards her, Lamia guessed that this Tom might not be the one in her dream, at least not the one now.
Apart from their appearance and their obsession with themselves, the two people are not similar in any other way.
But Lamia still didn't understand what she had done to make Tom so murderous that he even came to reality.
And Lamia suspected that the secret room written on the wall was the place where the basilisk was hiding that Tom had taken her to.
Lamia increasingly felt that her dreams and reality were inextricably linked. Now even Tom had come to her real world. Everything seemed to be covered with a hazy coat, tightly concealing all the truth.
It seemed that I could only ask this question in my dreams. Lamia stood up from the bed and took the unusually quiet diary on the table, but she searched the entire room and couldn't find a suitable place to put it.
Suddenly a gust of wind blew in from the window. Lamia's eyes lit up and she simply threw the diary out of the window. The diary formed a beautiful parabola in the night sky and fell straight into the black lake below which was calm on the surface.
Lamia looked out the window and saw a pair of huge cold pupils faintly visible in the black lake. Lamia immediately regretted it. If she had known that the squid in the black lake had woken up, she would have smeared meat filling on the diary so that Tom would never have the chance to come back.
But since it has come to this, Lamia could only lie back in bed and force herself to sleep. She needed to go back as soon as possible to find Tom there. Things had to come to an end. Instead of being judged by others, she might as well be the one to end everything.
When she opened her eyes again, Lamia saw Tom lying next to her, looking at her with his eyes open.
"Lamia, you're finally awake." Tom seemed in a good mood. "There's no class today. I'll take you out for a walk."
Lamia sat up naturally and dodged Tom's outstretched hand. Although the Tom here seemed to have no ill will towards her, she could not convince herself to forget the murderous intent in the real Tom.
"Okay." Lamia smiled, pretending not to notice the displeasure on Tom's face.
After the two of them left, Lamia didn't see a single Hogwarts student along the way, and there was not even a sound of students in the entire campus.
Therefore, in such a quiet environment, any slight movement will be magnified hundreds of times.
For example, Lamia now has a completely ordinary human body, but she can hear quarrels in the distance, and the voices are very familiar to her.
"No, you can't do this. You can't take Aragog away. He's innocent."
Lamia glanced at Tom beside her, but he seemed not to have heard anything, with no expression on his face.
"Tom, there's a fight going on up ahead. Let's go check it out."
"Lamia, you can go wherever you want." Tom turned his head when he heard that. His smile was the same as before, so gentle, but Lamia inexplicably felt a chill.
After walking over, Lamia saw Hagrid and the people next to him surrounded by a group of people in exquisite clothes.
Hagrid was not as tall as Lamia remembered him, and he didn't even look older than she was.
"Hagrid, hand it over. As the Hogwarts board of trustees, we need to eliminate all creatures that endanger the safety of students. We suspect that the recent unexplained deaths and petrifications of students are related to the Acromantula."
The middle-aged man in the lead pointed the scepter in his hand at Hagrid, and the brightly dressed board members standing behind him also took out their wands and pointed them at Hagrid, as if he would die if he did not obey.
"Carlo, we should investigate clearly. There is no evidence to prove that Aragog did it." The young Dumbledore beside Hagrid was still so upright, but the words of a professor were obviously not taken seriously by these board members. They pulled Hagrid away from Dumbledore and forcefully took away his wand.
"Dumbledore, this is the decision of the Hogwarts Board of Trustees." Amycus Carrow, the leader, didn't even bother to speak. Another younger man beside him spoke for him.
"Let me go, Aragog won't do this, you have no right to do this to me!" Hagrid shouted and tried to break free, but he didn't even have a wand, how could he break free from the magical thorns.
"Tell us where that beast is hiding?" Amycus Carrow stood in front of Hagrid, his chin raised high, and stepped condescendingly on Hagrid's fingers pressing on the ground.
Hagrid looked up but could only see his ugly twisted neck and thick nostrils:
"I won't tell you. It didn't do anything. If you let the real criminal go like this, Hogwarts won't be safe!"
"That's all we can do, Malfoy. I leave it to you." A young man in a black robe walked out from behind the man and broke Hagrid's wand without any hesitation.
"Ah!" Hagrid screamed, the heart-wrenching pain spread from his heart to his whole body, even his beard trembled constantly.
Lamia recognized the young man immediately; it was Lucius Malfoy whom she met at Flourish and Blotts.
"You want to go over and save him." Tom suddenly lowered his head and whispered in Lamia's ear.
Lamia turned her head when she heard that, but Tom didn't look at her. Instead, he looked straight at Hagrid who was unconscious in the middle, as if comparing something.
He kept looking at her for a long time, so long that Lamia thought the voice she just heard was a dream, until Tom turned his head and said, "Okay." Tom looked into Lamia's eyes for a long time, and his red eyes reflected his silent and tangled expression.
By this time Hagrid had been woken up again. His furry brown hair was wet and stuck to his forehead and cheeks. Dumbledore could only stand at a certain distance and watch, completely helpless.
Although his face looked calm, Lamia noticed that he kept clenching his fingers. Dumbledore looked carefully at everyone present, as if thinking of a way to rescue Hagrid.
"Stop, he is not the murderer." Lamia and Tom walked out of the woods behind them side by side. Tom's eyes were like swords, and the group of black-robed men who tried to force Hagrid to confess by force all looked over.
After Lamia finished speaking, she stayed quietly beside Tom. If it weren't for her extremely aggressive eyes and the fact that everyone saw her walking towards her, everyone present would have thought she was just a beautifully crafted doll.
"Yes...you...Okay, yes - I should have understood it long ago." Amycus Carlo, who had been looking at the newcomers with disdain, suddenly became respectful. He grabbed the subordinate behind him who wanted to come out and drive them away.
Malfoy was originally surrounding Hagrid with several men in black robes. When he saw that something was wrong, he was the first to stand far away.
"Who asked you to come here?" Tom just stood there, playing with Lamia's soft silver hair, as if she was the only one left in the world, but his words startled the already timid Amycus Carrow, and he actually knelt on the ground.
Lamia glanced at Dumbledore, then moved her fingers slightly beside her leg.
