"I'm sorry, we can't Apparate ahead. We need to walk over there." Dumbledore looked at Lamia's feet with some apology.

"Don't worry, sir." Lamia smiled and walked ahead.

Dumbledore was surprised and hurriedly followed her, not forgetting to cast a levitation spell under her feet to prevent her feet from being rubbed by the rough stones on the ground.

The road ahead became more and more desolate. The land was scorched black and there was no grass growing within a hundred miles.

After walking for a long time, Lamia finally saw the only building. It was a spire that reached high into the clouds, with its top pointing straight to the sky. The surrounding walls were covered with withered plants, and the black painted walls were dark and cold.

"We're here. Be sure to follow me closely." Dumbledore cast a warming spell on Lamia and walked towards the deep entrance.

The temperature inside was more than 10 degrees lower than outside, and Lamia was still shivering slightly despite being under a heat preservation spell.

"Okay, here it is." They walked for a long time until they reached the top of the spire. It was obviously a prison cell with only a small window. The light coming in illuminated a small area in the cell. Lamia could vaguely see a person sitting inside.

"Now, we can talk. I promise Tom won't hear anything. So who are you?" Dumbledore looked at Lamia with his wise blue eyes without blinking, and his aura suddenly became stronger.

"Sir, you don't need to know who I am. Our goals are the same." Lamia said calmly.

"Purpose? What purpose?" Dumbledore seemed not to understand, but his eyes told Lamia that he needed her sincerity.

"The monster in Hogwarts is not Aragog, but the basilisk, and it is in the Chamber of Secrets. I just happen to know how to get in." Lamia understood what Dumbledore meant.

Perhaps it was his innate ability to convince people or perhaps it was his identity as a principal in real life, but in any case, Lamia easily and naturally told Tom's hidden secret.

Dumbledore didn't look very surprised. Lamia wasn't sure for a moment whether he was simply calm or already knew the truth.

At this moment, a burst of crazy laughter suddenly broke out from the cell next to him. "Albus, do you think this is your private confidential room? You always bring people here to tell some unspeakable secrets."

Lamia glanced inside the cell after hearing the sound. She saw the man, who had stood in the only spot of light, standing there. He had golden hair that still shone even in his old age. His face was handsome and gaunt, with a rebellious air.

"Gellert, you should pretend not to hear as before." Dumbledore's voice sounded almost the same as usual, if you ignored the rising tone at the end.

"Albus, you are really domineering." Grindelwald chuckled, his eyes as cold as ice, fixed directly on Lamia, "Oh, and you brought a little girl with you. How about she treats you to candy too?" He lay on the fence of the cell jokingly, his voice low and magnetic.

"Gellert, you're more likeable when you're silent." Dumbledore stood in front of Lamia, blocking Grindelwald's gaze. Then he turned to look at Lamia, "Ignore him. This is the safest place I can think of. We'll leave soon."

Perhaps because he was worried that Lamia would be scared, Dumbledore explained a few words.

Lamia nodded. She was not actually afraid. The people in the cell had no ill will towards her. Maybe they had some at first, but that disappeared as soon as her voice came out.

"However, before we go back, we need to make a plan first, Miss. I need your cooperation. Tom's power is greater than I thought." Dumbledore waved the wand in his hand, and a jar of pink peach jelly appeared out of thin air. "Before that, I need to replenish my energy. Would you like one?" He took out a piece and put it in his mouth, and handed the jar to Lamia.

Lamia never liked sweets. Just as she was about to refuse, she saw the sugar bowl in Dumbledore's hand suddenly fly up and land in Grindelwald's hand, but before it could stay for a while, Dumbledore cast a spell and took it back.

"Albus, can't you just let me have a taste?" His voice was still low but sounded aggrieved. "You haven't been here for a long time, and now when you come you just talk to others and ignore me." Grindelwald stuffed his entire head into the gap in the railing, blinking his watery blue eyes, just looking at Dumbledore.

Lamia stood aside silently. No matter how she looked at it, there was something wrong with these two people, especially Dumbledore. Lamia could even see his trembling lips.

"Ahem, Gellert, there are guests here." Dumbledore covered his mouth and turned his back, but Lamia could still see his red ears.

"Don't worry about her, Albus, don't you miss me? Otherwise, just agree to let me go out. I promise not to cause trouble and follow you 24 hours a day." Grindelwald's golden hair was illuminated by the light coming through the small window, and it seemed to be glowing.

"No, Gellert, you are making things difficult for me, but I promise I will come to see you often in the future." Dumbledore took a few steps forward and touched the top of Grindelwald's head, who narrowed his eyes in pleasure.

"Then don't bring anyone who might cause trouble here." Grindelwald opened his eyes, and his sharp gaze shot towards Lamia like an arrow.

Lamia covered her eyes in embarrassment. She seemed to know a secret that she shouldn't know. She was extremely worried that if the plan succeeded, the two of them would kill her to silence her.

Despite this, Lamia still looked at them for a long time. It must be said that the atmosphere between the two was really warm. Dumbledore was like coaxing a puppy. With just a pat on the head, Grindelwald agreed to all his requests.

"If you ask me, Albus, what Tom? If you had let me out, I would have killed him directly, and you wouldn't have had so much trouble." Grindelwald's voice suddenly became cold, and he made killing sound like a trivial matter.

"Okay, that's it, Gellert. I'll take care of this." Dumbledore kept the half-eaten jar of candy. "When have I not given you some? I always leave some for you." His voice became lower, and Lamia had to listen for a long time before she could hear it clearly.

After Dumbledore settled Grindelwald, he walked to Lamia and said, "I need you to calm Tom down. Once I have arranged everything, you can bring Tom out. He must take responsibility for his mistakes." Dumbledore sighed with unspeakable regret.

Lamia suddenly felt depressed. "Will he be killed?" She didn't even notice that her voice was trembling.

"I don't know, maybe." Dumbledore looked at the ceiling dejectedly. It seemed to have rained a few days ago, and the holes on it were dripping with residual rainwater.

"Okay." Lamia suppressed the discomfort in her heart. "I will cooperate with you. How many days do you need to arrange it?"

"About 5 days. Try not to let Tom contact anyone else during these days. I will take care of everything. When it's done, I will ask someone to notify you." Dumbledore walked towards the cell again.

"I promise you." Lamia was lowering her head to think about her next plan. When she looked up again, Dumbledore was already standing in front of the cell.

She just watched as Dumbledore handed Grindelwald a fluffy scarf that appeared from nowhere.

Lamia took a deep breath. She was so cold just now, but Dumbledore didn't take out his scarf. Well, she suddenly wanted to reconsider their cooperation.

Dumbledore treated Lamia like a child who knew nothing, or perhaps he had already known that Lamia would not stay here forever.

He used his wand to repair the hole in the ceiling which was some distance away from Grindelwald, without paying any attention to anyone else, and then looked at Lamia again.

"Okay, we can go now," he winked and walked ahead of Lamia.

Lamia looked back and could only see Grindelwald wearing a white fluffy scarf, looking reluctantly in the direction Dumbledore left in the light.

Lamia glanced at Dumbledore, who was walking very fast in front of her, with emotion. She really envied the friendship between them.

Soon, they returned to the place where they first arrived. It was still deserted. Even though Dumbledore cast a levitation spell on her, her feet were still scratched.

She glanced at it and didn't take it seriously at all. In the past, such a wound would heal in less than 10 seconds. Although it is not so fast now, it will still heal in less than 10 minutes.

So when Dumbledore asked her if she needed treatment, Lamia refused without a second thought.

"What a strong child." Dumbledore smiled meaningfully. Lamia looked at him in confusion, but he said nothing. He just Apparated and took Lamia back to Hogwarts.

After landing again, Lamia felt her cheeks getting hot, and her body temperature also rose a lot. "Sir, next time, please take me to a warmer place, or let me prepare some thicker clothes in advance. You see, I'm not used to it even now."

Lamia glanced at Dumbledore with some resentment, but Dumbledore just smiled and said nothing. When Lamia turned to leave, he finally spoke, "I don't need five days now. Only four days will be enough."

Lamia paused, turned around in confusion, only to find that Dumbledore had already left, with only his large footprints remaining.

Lamia walked towards Tom's dormitory. She was dizzy and took the wrong turn several times before she finally found the right direction.

Lamia's heart was filled with excitement. Somehow, she just wanted to see Tom as soon as possible.

Lamia leaned against the door panel, leaning crookedly, "Tom, I'm back, open the door quickly." She also wanted to knock on the door, but her raised hand was always out of control and kept hitting the door frame.

"Baby Tom, it's me, open the door quickly." Lamia was unconscious, but she still knocked on the door frame persistently. Her eyes were squinted uncomfortably, and her hair was soaked with sweat.

"Lamia, are you calling me?" Tom's voice came from behind. Lamia turned around, saw who it was, and pounced on him. "GGAD, I'm invincible!"
